It looks stunning and kept my house completely dust-free. What impressed me most was Zach's integrity. During the install, a small piece of my old plastic molding snapped. Instead of ignoring it, Zach took full ownership and replaced the trim on both skylights with upgraded foam-backed wood molding at his own expense to ensure everything was airtight and uniform. For the first time I realize I had been hearing a fair amount of outside noise (which I'd apparently gotten used to), because these windows/doors are soundproof; now I don't hear anything at all from outside! And even better, the windows are easy to open, and my sliding glass doors actually slide well in the track, and are not shaking and drafty when it's windy outside -- major improvements from my old, builder-grade, 20+ year-old windows/sliding door. Further, the service crew was excellent -- careful, kind, professional, efficient, and they cleaned up everything afterwards. Roger, the foreman, has been doing this work for almost 30 years, and Jose, who single-handedly carried in/out the windows/doors, has been doing this work for 10+ years. I didn't get the name of the quiet third service person who was mostly outside and on the ladders, also very efficient. fyi, they did mention that working on the 4th floor of our condos from ladders was a bit more challenging as the original builder-grade windows had been made to fit by being packed/taped in place from the outside, which necessitated them having to actually break some of the glass to be able to pull the old windows out. But they did it - and did it well. Finally, Shaun, the project manager who gave me my estimate and oversaw the project from estimate, HOA approval process, to completion, was great. I began to ask Matthew about how much he thought it would cost to replace my roof and possibly gutters. Matthew went out of his was to spend well over 30 minutes explaining all of the intricacies involved with replacing a roof and how many different kinds there are, all of which I knew nothing about. After our very nice and educational conversation, Matthew exchanged numbers with me and explained that, due to my missing shingles and the rain approaching, he should probably have one of his inspectors (Maury White) come out and take a look because based on what he gathered from me he said it sounded like I could potentially have severe storm damage and if that's the case I may be in really good position for a possible homeowners insurance claim. Later that evening Matthew texted me asking if it would be ok if he and Maury came by my home first thing in the morning to do a roof inspection for storm damage and also make sure I didn't have any leaks or need a tarp. They arrived at 9:45am for a 10am appt, let me know they were there and went straight to work. It might have taken all of 30 minutes. They tarped my roof for free, came back down showed me all the pictures and even informed me that I had a leak, of which I was unaware. At that time Maury White explained how he's been doing this 13 years and he definitely believed that I had severe storm damage. He showed me all the pictures of what it looked like In the area he tarped and it was completely exposed the wood was rotten. Maury and Matthew both sat at the table with me while I filed the claim and helped me throughout the whole process. Not only that, they came back out on the day that the adjuster came just to ensure that I would get everything I was entitled to. Long story short: not only did I get a GAF Timberline HDZ golden pledge lifetime roofing system, they gave me "FREE" gutters in exchange for me putting a sign in my front yard. It did not stop there Matthew and Maury both followed up so well throughout this whole process and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy even the owner of DMV, Gian, stopped by and introduced himself and thanked us for the business. DMV EXTERIORS is by far the best roofing company that genuinely cares about there customers, not about their bank account. They care about people, average everyday people.
