Their price and quality of roofing work was outstanding. The work was explained to me very well and clearly. Stuck by their budget and there were no surprises and unexpected changes. read more

Eek, I had a very slow leak on my roof, and so I had my insurance company call someone to come out and look. Due to the nature of what needed to be fixed, insurance wasn't going to cover it, and their technician was charging... well, a lot. I have seen the name Calderon Contractors for years, and roofing is one of the many things they do. So I went ahead and reached out, using the quote service here on Yelp. Elmer, the owner, reached out relatively quickly. I didn't get to meet him, but he was my main point of contact. First visit to my house was from a guy named Hector, and was very kind, professional, and I described what the issue was and he had a look for himself. After his visit, it wasn't long before Elmer reached out with a quote, and we moved forward. Hector ended up being the one to do all the work, and it was efficient. As far as I can tell, the leak is sealed and I can paint whenever I'm ready. Thank you Elmer, Hector, and the rest of the Calderon Contractors staff! read more

I had a great experience with Calderon Contractors . They were extremely prompt, showed up right on time, and got straight to work. Their pricing was very reasonable compared to others I looked into, and the quality of the work really stood out. They cleaned everything thoroughly and left no mess behind. It's not always easy to find a company that's reliable, affordable, and does excellent work--but these guys delivered on all three. Highly recommend! read more

They gave a fast estimate. The job was done in a day, and done well. The men cleaned up afterwards and the job was well done! Thank you.

Great service and they fix a pretty bad leak quickly and cost effectively. Extremely punctual, friendly, and communicative. I'll be sure to use them again for future work. read more

Needed my gutters cleared before the next rain came. Had to shop around to find companies that could make it out in less than a couple of weeks. Not only were they willing to come out the fastest, they were one of the better prices. They came out and did the job quick and didn't leave a mess behind. Will be using them again next year. read more

Very responsive, accommodating, cost effective, and good work done. Definitely recommend working with them.

I found Calderon Contractors on Yelp for a roofing job after we had a minor leak in our sun room addition near the chimney. I can verify all the great, positive reviews. Elmer was prompt & terrific communicating via text & I found his repair recommendation and estimate to be both knowledgeable & fair. He scheduled the job as soon as we signed the contract & paid half up front. He & his crew arrived early on the scheduled day and finished the job by lunchtime. We would use Calderon Contractor again for future roofing repair. So glad we found them on Yelp! read more

We had a leak in our attic and we worked with Calderon Contractors to repair it. After we first noticed the leak, we had a number of contractors come by to hear their recommendations. We appreciated Elmer's professionalism, honesty, and the fact that he listened to what we wanted to do with this project. Of the contractors we had come by, only a few (including Elmer) gave us their honest recommendation that we didn't need to replace our roof and they could simply fix the leak; several contractors tried to convince us to replace the entire roof, which we didn't want to do and was a red flag for us since other contractors had told us that a roof replacement wasn't necessary. Elmer and his team fixed the leak in our roof for a fair price, following up with us to ensure we were satisfied with the work they did. We were impressed with the quality of the work Calderon Contractors did for us, so we hired them again a few months later to clean our gutters, which they did a good job with too. Elmer and his team are professional and friendly, I highly recommended working with Calderon Contractors! read more

I called them for an estimate on a roof repair. They gave me a reasonable price for the minimum job that was required. They came on time, did the work and it was exactly what I expected and requested. Would hire again. read more

A+ Look no further, these guys know what they're doing, good communicators, reliable and came and did nice work. We had a new home where the downspout on the dormer was setup to wear part of the roof, and Calderon extended it to the lower roof. It was a simple job, fair price, happy with the work. I can tell talking to him that they know what they're doing as we discussed a few other things, he didn't try to over sell me. They do gutter cleaning, roofing, etc. I'm saving their number, recommended. read more

Our attic exhaust fan had long been inoperative. Elmer replied right away, inspected the attic and fan, made recommendations, and offered a fair price. As an afterthought I asked if he could give us a bid on replacing the 26+ year old roof, a future project. Based on his positive ratings, the quality of the material, and the reasonable price we agreed to do both. His crew was polite, efficient, did great work, cleaned up the area admirably, and upon completion Elmer sent a a photo album of the work as it progressed. Highly recommend. read more

Smooth communication, were available to schedule gutter cleaning soon, did a good job for a very fair price. Highly recommend!

I had previously rated this contractor with one star because I was unable to get a response to a request for a web-based quote for replacement of my roof. The owner of the company got back to me promptly, provided the proposal and informed me that its webpage had a glitch due to an error made by the company maintains its webpage. The owner seemed like an honest fellow so I'm willing to accept his explanation and give him the benefit of the doubt. For purposes of full disclosure, I chose not to do business with this company read more

Great job on my roof work. He was on time, did what was agreed to do. will use him in future. Thanks.

Last April, our gable vent somehow got a huge hole during a storm and we needed it repaired quickly so no critters moved into our basement. Elmer responded super quickly and was able to provide an estimate AND install the gable vent without me or my husband needing to take time off work to be there. Fair pricing. Our gable vent looks so shiny and new (and it was installed one year ago!)! read more

During the month of December 2022, while visiting my parents in PR, my roof leaked and damaged areas inside the house. I immediately contacted Elmer and the day I reached out to him the County was in alert for cold weather/rain mix snow and the office was closed. I told him that I needed a tarp to cover my roof until repairs. He immediately talk to one of his worker to see if an exception could be made and he can go buy a tarp and install. The company went above and beyond to cover my roof needing repairs and until insurance start processing. I am very pleased with Calderon contracting services, their diligency in helping me, and the high level of customer service. Definitely recommend!! Thanks to the staff and Elmer for their professionalism and committment to good customer service. :) read more

Elmer and the rest of his team did a fantastic job fixing our patio/back room roof, patio, and inside room from the bad rain and freeze event that happened around Christmas '22. We had rain water enter a leak in the roof of our back room - the roof of that room was a masonry roof porch deck. The leak destroyed dry wall in the room below. Elmer and his team was the best quote we got. They were able to tear up the old masonry roof; put down a new, reliable roof; put down a new porch; and completely fix the dry wall, installation, and paint in the room below all in just 3 days! Elmer's team was very professional and did a great job cleaning up. We also had his team clean our gutters and fix some shale roof for us. We highly recommend Calderon Contractors. read more

I can't comment on the actual work they do because it never got done, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and make this a 2-star review instead of the 1-star I wanted to give. I received a quote from this company to have my gutters cleaned in early December, at which time I provided my address and the company confirmed that they got my address. The day before they were scheduled to come and service the gutters, I get a text from them stating they only just that day 'checked' our address (not sure what that means, other than maybe they never bothered to look where it was on a map before giving me the quote *after* they already had my address?), and that we were too far away for them to do the servicing for the original quote but would still come and do it... for 50% more. Personally I have no way of seeing this as anything other than a bait-and-switch tactic, sadly common in the contracting world. They had my address from the start, gave me a quote, and then just before doing the work suddenly jacked up their price by 50% hoping I'll just bite the bullet and pay, or if not no skin off their back because they gave a low-ball quote to begin with. Again, they may do fabulous work, but I personally would not do business with any company that engages in tactics like this. read more

I was shocked to find that my downspout had detached. Before this caused extensive damage I wanted to address the matter as soon as possible as heavy rains were expected for all of next weekend. My usual contractor was completely unresponsive for two weeks! Thank God for Yelp. Mr. Elmer Calderon responded to my request for proposal within minutes. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and transparent. He respectfully answered my questions. He handled my business with integrity by being reliable and professional. He confirmed my appointment and called prior to arrival, which I found to be very considerate. He assessed the situation, provided a fair quote, and completed the job within minutes. Payment procedures were also straightforward. Mr. Calderon provided excellent service and was everything all of the favorable Yelp reviews said he was and more. I am very happy with my experience. Most of all I am at peace. Thank you! Muchas Gracias! read more

I had reached out to Calderon Contractors LLC (CCL) through Yelp, because of wind damage to one of my main downspouts (it came lose away from the wall and was just hanging off (had a small dent also), would have fallen down soon and also came away from the attachment below) from the 2nd floor roof. In addition, I had 2 other downspouts that required minor changes to them again from previous wind damage and a bad dent which had almost closed it. A couple of the reputed big name companies I talked to didnt want to take on such a small job, they have a min that they need to do (at least $2500), and one company that I called after reading Yelp reviews) had been bought by another company and it had very bad reviews overall including the BB (they were the cheapest quote for gutter cleaning and were ok to repair the damage without even seeing it!), Since they were not clear about the fact that they were not the "original" company and so not honest that their telephone # redirected any callers to this "new" company, I initially said yes but more research revealed the truth and then declined to go with them. At one time they reduced their original quote to "keep me interested". If your not honest with your customers then your not getting my business, so I went with CCL. Elmer was the 1st company to respond and very responsive through yelp and also through texts - he was the only Co that came out to my house to visually inspect the damage and told me what was needed. This was just only for repairs but also to clean out gutters at the same time. His price wasn't the cheapest, but the work done was really very good and he explained he charges more as he is both licensed and insured - something that is very important, in case of any accidents while the crew are working then you are covered, but if you do use someone who isn't licensed/insured then you as the homeowner is responsible for their injuries etc! He was flexible and accommodated my schedule, and agreed to come on a Saturday, even if I wasn't at home. I didn't make it before his crew finished work but I checked everything and it was done well. Elmer sent pics of the work and my gutters were clean and all my downspouts fixed - I am really happy and will use him again in the future for repairs. His crew also cleaned up everything including my deck of all debris - really nice job! Payment was done via Zelle (he was also ok with Venmo). He also provided at my request a quote for my whole roof replacement, so I have an idea now for the future. I truly recommend him/his company for gutter cleaning and repairs or replacements. Thanks Elmer, I appreciate your effort and your work. read more

Elmer Calderon completed three projects at my home. He responded quickly after we received storm damage to roof, gutters and shed. Elmer provided a competitive and detailed quote. He prioritized the urgency of the roof. His team was efficient and competed high quality work. Elmer and his crew were amazing! We purchased a home that was a short sale so he was very patient in working with us. He gave us an estimate before we closed to submit a request for repairs and unfortunately they didn't want to pay for a new roof. So we had to wait until we closed on the home to replace it. Elmer followed up with us and as soon as we closed on the home he was able to come and meet to go over colors so we could get started right away. He kept us up to date with photos and was extremely communicative. I would highly recommend Calderon Contractors. Extremely good pricing, fast and efficient, and super honest and friendly. read more

Elmer responded promptly and came out quickly to fix the problem. Appreciated his professionalism and good work.

I messaged Elmer on a Saturday a few weeks ago for a quote to fix a leak in my roof that was occuring when we got heavy rain. The leak was to the ceiling right above my bed and we were getting frequent heavy rain. There are not many house issues for me that are more anxiety inducing than a leaky roof and getting into my attic to find it and minimize the damage was a major project on it's own. Elmer agreed to come take a look on that Monday morning following my call. He arrived on time and sent me a quote that day. I wouldn't say it was inexpensive, but I ended up calling a second, highly regarded roofing company at the same time and couldn't get a timely quote from them considering this was an emergency (at least to me). When I did finally get the quote, it was totally incorrect (for a different house) and they sent me a ton of pictures, but only a few were of my roof. Needless to say I went with Elmer who said he would be there in two days. His crew showed up exactly when he said - early in the morning - and got to work finding the exact issue and fixing it. They were here about 5 hours and the roof looked and functioned like new. Calderone Contractors is definitely my go to roofing company from now on. They also do any other outside house work (gutters, siding, etc), so they might be my new guys for that stuff too. I am very pleased with the work. It was worth every penny. read more
