Poor customer service. I requested an estimate 2 weeks ago and i have yet to receive even though i was told that id have an estimate the same day. This shows they're unreliable from the start and unprofessional. This is not a false review. I contacted your company requesting an estimate and was told I would receive one the same day, which never happened. I waited two weeks before posting this review. If you are unable to locate my request in your records, that is an internal issue and does not change my experience as a customer. Arif and his team was recommended to us by a neighbor here in Cheverly, MD. We called and got a quick response and a reasonable quote the same day after emailing over a few photos of the 3 dripping spots in our attic (see photos). He was able to fit us in the same week after we requested a quick fix before winter really got going, and his team arrived promptly within the window he provided. They did a solid job fixing up the 3 spots, and he also identified another spot on the roof that we didn't know about that needed a proper seal. He was able to fix that on the spot! With shingles missing from the roof of my new home and a recent leak, I needed a roofing company fast. Using Yelp reviews as a guide, I selected AA Repairs & Replacements. I sent Arif some photos of the roof, and on the same day he came to inspect. The next day the roof was measured, and a fair quote was provided. As soon as the heat wave broke, his team replaced the roof of the townhouse and the shed with high quality shingles. The windows on our house badly needed to be replaced, and if we were ever going to do anything about the rest of the exterior (or house had beaten up aluminum siding over brick for some weird reason) it made sense to do it at the same time. We had saved up for a couple years for the work but were worried it was still out of our price range. Arif cut us a good deal and his team got to work removing the siding, tuckpointing the brick, painting it, and replacing all the windows. Window contractors wouldn't do the carpentry on the sills, remodelers said the job was too small, and I didn't want to give such a precise job to a handyman. It was a relief to find a specific expert that could cover windows and sills. I really appreciated how straightforward and frank Arif was at every step of the way in asking me questions about what I really wanted and helping me think through the consequences of my choices. I was especially impressed that his team was able to replace one window that was covered by drywall without cutting into the drywall just by installing a non-opening window from the outside. Very prompt and responsive through the whole process, from getting a quote, to making sure I was always informed of when people were coming, when our ordered glass was coming, etc. They also remained true to their quote, which as someone who has worked with many contractors before, I know is rare. There was kind of a lot of stress put on making sure no valuables were around when contractors were coming over that one could translate as " my people are thieves" or that these guys have been falsely accused and they're trying to cover their butts. I called and spoke to the owner, Mr. Ahmed, who requested that I take photos and forward to him. Within a week or two, Mr. Ahmed came to my home and took measurements. Would definitely recommend this company. We thought we had a leakage problem in just a few windows, and they did a thorough assessment to not only identify the problem (rotting wood frames) but also noticed several other windows with the same issue and recommended replacing as a preventative measure - and they were absolutely right. The rot was obvious once they pointed it out and we were very glad to save ourselves the issue of more damaged drywall and mold in the future. Our roof leaked in our bathroom. I contacted Arif (manager) as well as other roofers on YELP. Arif of AA Repairs & Replacement stood out right away. He was kind, humorous and empathetic. He promptly came out for the estimate, provided a no-haggle estimate on the spot, and provided fantastic recommendations! Needless to say, we selected him and his company. The roof work was beautiful, and he even helped me choose a shingle color that was a perfect color match for the siding on my home. It was more expensive than the plain black shingles, but he honored his original quote.
