I did a LOT of research. I was more comfortable using a smaller family owned company instead of a huge national chain, I'm so glad I did. I think communication is better with a smaller company, they have more to lose. Roi is an excellent company to work with. We first started off by using them to help us remodel our kitchen. We were so pleased with the work that when we got pregnant and decided to add onto our home for more space- we chose them. The build ROi helped us design was an over 1,000 square foot addition to our house and they did not disappoint! They assigned us a project manager who was at the house on a daily basis, and they were quick to communicate with us and update us on the various processes and milestones of our build. When you hire ROi, you hire a team. Most contractors don't also have a designer, architect, and designated project manager. ROi provides all of this and more. This build was no small project. It included: a master suite- complete with bedroom, private toilet room, walk in closet, a SECRET ROOM, small office and gorgeous bathroom. Oh and a roof top deck! They also created a spacious laundry room for me and remodeled the other side of my house to add a bedroom and closet. The bulk of the work was completed in 4 months which is pretty great. On a personal note- I was about 1 to 2 weeks away from delivering a baby and ROi dropped everything to make sure I could have a bedroom ready in time for when my baby was born. They truly cared about us and took care of us. What says the most about ROi isn't just the quality of their work (which is excellent) but their commitment to see our project through to the very end. Every build / project has tiny touch ups and fixes. Most contractors who've received 98% of the payment wouldn't bother to come back. But ROi stayed in communication and completed very paint touch up and small fix until the very end. ROi's strengths is: their high quality work, honesty, and consistent communication with the client (via a project manager who is personally assigned to your job). My roof was about 15 years old and it time to replace it. I reached out to my neighbors on Nextdoor.com most all of them recommended ROI Construction. I reached out and the owner, Dominic, came over within a day or two to assess the roof and answer any initial questions. He provided an estimate, and was able to answer every question I threw at him to make sure I knew his team would do the job right. His quote was slightly higher than most, but I am a firm believer in that you get what you pay for and have it done right. Certainteed, due to Covid, was limiting what colors they were doing, but upon request, Dominic was able to get someone to bring over color samples to make sure what I saw online matched my expectation. After confirming the color and providing a deposit, I was able to get on one of his crew's schedules, about two weeks out. Once on the schedule, everything he told me happened exactly as he had laid out. The materials came a day before the job and the delivery company laid everything out on the roof to make it easy for his crew to do the job. His crew were able to my modest roof in less than 8 hours. They showed up right when Dominic said they would (~7am) and they were extremely efficient. They also had ropes to help keep them from falling. I did come outside and inspect them occasionally and every set of shingles I watched got four nails. They laid tarps all around the house to protect the yard from nails and did a magnetic sweep afterwards. While someone critically reading this will say that I haven't had the roof long enough or through a wind storm to really know the extent of how the crew did, (and they are probably not wrong in saying this), Dominic also stands behind his work with a solid 10-yr warranty. The fact that he's a second generation roofer, taught by his father - an acclaimed roofer, shows me that he isn't going anywhere and will be there if something were to go wrong. Side note - the roof made it through one rain storm so far, and no issues that I know of. All in all, I was impressed with the crew, with Dominic's professionalism, the positive vibes around Dominic, his company, and ROI's longevity and fully recommend ROI Construction. read more

We had a great experience with them recently replacing all of our windows and doors. They gave us a very reasonable estimate and came by a second time to take measurements. Then once the ordered parts had come in, they scheduled a date, were quick and efficient and got a fairly big job done in three days. The crew were very polite, and carefully cleaned up after themselves. All the windows and doors look great, the mechanisms work flawlessly, and the area around each, including the trim, was left as good or better than it had been before. They even noticed a fairly small crack in one of the windows, arranged with the manufacturer to provide a replacement, and came back later to swap out the cracked window at no cost. My satisfaction goes beyond just having it completed, but the service, speed, dependability, and proactive actions that ROI took to insure my roof was taken care of. The first company I reached out to was Nulook home design. They were fast in setting up the assessment, but evaded to tell me that the 2 hour session was not for the roof assessment, but for the sales portion, where they used the typical salesman tactics and buy now no later options sales. The second company was long roof. Customer service was horrible, false promises and games were played on behalf of the company to make up for the sales reps shortcomings. ROI communicated, met my needs, set a date, and did the job. No BS. When they did the roof, they showed up bright and early, did not rush the job, got it done, even in the a light drizzle the continued. Nothing but good things to say. We had starlings building a nest inside our roof - yes, inside! The hole needed to be boarded up and was a quick fix but we tried desperately to DIY a solution to avoid spending hundreds of dollars bringing someone out (those were all actual prices from other companies! With all of the rain we've had these past few weeks, I noticed there was water dripping behind my gutter and falling next to the foundation of my house - MAYDAY!
