I wanted a bay window installed and researched/met with a few contractors before coming across Winfield Builders. The other quotes I received were all over the map in terms of price and experience, but Winfield Builders hit the mark with both. Both Zach and Paul came out to my house for the quote and answered all my questions before we had even signed a contract. While they were there I took advantage and had them look at another large picture window with a rotted sill. We discussed various options in terms of replacement (something I was not ready to do for other reasons), but I was pleasantly surprised when they offered a perfect temporary solution that I hadn't thought of and it was much MUCH cheaper than replacing the whole window. The installation of the bay window went very smoothly despite the problems my older home presented. They even had to take apart and rebuild the preassembled hip roof to fit under the gutter so that there were no water leaks. Zach was there for the whole project and it was reassuring to have him supervise and jump in as needed to make adjustments. I really appreciated the extra time and effort they took to make sure things were done correctly. All the workers were very professional, courteous, and did not leave a mess after. Zach even followed up later to make sure I didn't have any issues with the window. I had a really great experience with them and look forward to working with them again! read more

I have nothing but good things to say about Winfield Builders. A number of years ago, we hired Winfield Builders after interviewing several contractors to do our kitchen renovation. We decided on Winfield Builders because they had an impeccable reputation in our neighborhood and we were not disappointed. They are professional, they show up when they are supposed to show up, they hire craftsmen, and they are perfectionists in terms of getting a good job done. Our kitchen turned out magnificently. We have since rehired Winfield Builders to install a new roof and new windows in our house, and to renovate our basement and bathroom. We have no complaints; they did a great job. One thing that must be stressed that puts Winfield Builders over the top: they care about their relationships with their customers and want to maintain those relationships. Where we have had minor issues, in the kitchen and bathroom, even years after they did the work, they have come back and fixed these issues, at no charge. We trust Winfield Builders, and that's worth more than anything. read more

I am a home improvement novice...and I NEVER right reviews. But I am compelled to write this one since I am very satisfied with their work. I am taking baby steps with our newest home by replacing some key windows, entry door and back patio doors, and I selected Winfield out of a total of 3 vendors. Lemme tell ya why: Zach was extremely professional and down-right honest in talking with me about the options for materials, colors, features, etc. He did not rush me into anything that he felt I might be unhappy with. He was patient and provided valuable guidance in selecting what ended up looking like they came with the house -- only better. He was and is super responsive and just a very friendly guy! The install crew - Jim and Todd - was equally as awesome -- on time, c, considerate. The installs were clean and they paid attention to details. Jim even came back to help fix something that wasn't in his scope of work. I will be using Winfield for other home improvement projects in the future. read more

We would like to highly recommend Winfield Builders. We first used Winfield Builders in 1992 when they built a deck and porch to our recently purchased new home. At that time, we received several bids but decided on Winfield Builders based on references and design specifications. Mr. Dickie recommended a gable-style, rather than a shed roof for our screened porch...a great suggestion! We recently had Winfield Builders back to rescreen the porch. We also used them to install new siding. They have very high standards and are a professional team. Their professional staff not only replaced our siding (that had been damaged in high winds), but cleaned up after themselves, thoroughly. We have two more projects we'd like to have done and will be calling them back. We care for our home and only want people here that we trust and have confidence in, both from a security standpoint and from a professional work standpoint. Winfield Builders has always met or exceeded expectations. read more

Winfield Builders, by far, exemplifies what it means to provide above-and-beyond customer service and valuable expertise. As a inexperienced customer unaware of what it took to tackle a roofing and siding claim, I was at a loss on how to even begin the process. Then Zach, Winfield Builders co-owner, appeared at my doorstep and I knew quickly that I was in great hands! Zach provided the critical 1-0-1 necessary (roofing & siding for dummies) to help me understand the elements of roofing/siding, industry terminology, what questions to ask moving forward, and what decisions would be necessary to meet our needs with success. Over the next (long) 6 months, it was Zach who helped me off the ledge from my insurance company. His insight and advice were essential to getting the best outcome for our claim. Thank you, Zach, for serving as a wonderful advisor and advocate throughout our painful project! Truly one of a kind! #Zach4Prez! ;-) read more

I see Winfield Builders in my neighborhood more than any other contracting company. I also always like what I see being done. For that reason, I chose them to build my elevated, screen-enclosed deck off my kitchen. I had a vision in my mind, and it was like they could read my mind. My deck turned out exactly like I envisioned it. Winfield Builders were a pleasure to deal with. When I decided I wanted the deck flooring in a new color not yet even in stores, they researched the product and got exactly what I wanted. Their workmanship is impeccable, and the entire project moved along smoothly without any interruption in our lives. They kept us informed on a weekly, if not daily, basis as to what they would be doing and kept to the promised schedule. I would not hesitate to hire them again for any contracting job. Winfield Builders are true professionals, and I now understand the reason so many people in my neighborhood hire them. read more

Attention to detail, sincere communication, punctual, and best value are all qualities that come to mind when I think of my experience with Winfield Builders. I hired them to replace my roof and gutters and they were keenly interested in making sure that I was satisfied with my selections. They addressed all of my concerns and provided sensible solutions with no interest in up-selling. They also provided a well written contract with a cost break-down which helped me a lot in making sure that I wasn't missing something since I know nothing about roofs and gutters. This gave me a piece of mind. During the installation, Winfield Builders was engaged in making sure that job was done right, and in learning about roofs and gutters over the course of my project, I could clearly see that the result was one of quality and sophistication. Hi highly recommend Winfield Builders and I will surely use them again on my future projects. read more

We recently purchased an older home that had disgusting and rotting wood siding. We decided to look into vinyl siding to prevent any further rot and spruce up the overall look of the house. We got several quotes from local companies but ultimately went with Winfield builders and are so happy with our decision. Zach is so helpful, friendly and not your typical salesman. He never made us feel pressured and was able to work with our budget. Work was done within the week and we LOVE the finished product. I Would 100% recommend Winfield builders to anyone looking to do work to the outside of their house. They will definitely be our go to company for any future projects ! read more

Love that this is a family business and you have a single point of contact (Zach!) from initial contact, to proposal, conduct of work, and payment. And give my highest recommendation to others. He replaced all of my home windows. Install was completed in a single day, a seamless process. They look fantastic!! Very quick turnaround. Winfield Builders built an addition and renovated nearly every room in our house. All the work was done on time, on budget and to exacting standards. Paul, his carpenters and subcontractors all are reliable, dependable and highly professional. We also appreciated that the house was kept as neat as possible during the process. We did not even get other bids for our addition/renovation because we only wanted Winfield to do the work. Winfield did smaller project for us a few years ago, and it was another great experience. We recommend Winfield Builders to all our friends and neighbors, and we look forward to working with Paul's son Zach in the future. read more

Winfield Builders renovated our entire home, including building a two-story addition, nearly 10 years ago. Paul and his team did a great job meeting deadlines and informing us about what to expect. We had to move out of our house during part of the renovation; Paul told us we'd be able to move back in 10 weeks, and his experience proved he was right. Our renovated house has been a joy to live in; it includes high-performance windows, insulation and HVAC and is very low maintenance, factors that are important to us. We highly recommend Windfield, and we look forward to working with Paul and Zach in the future. read more

I am so happy I hired this company to replace my roof. Professionalism from start to finish. Zach was the project manager and his extensive roofing knowledge made me feel secure in the entire process. He promptly answered all my questions and explained everything that would happen. Great communication and most of the process was virtual which i appreciated in this environment. Zach's crew was prompt, courteous and efficient. Zach himself came out the same day to inspect their work and to ensure everything was done correctly. Customer service like this is so hard to find these days. read more

I had seen Winfield Builders work when they did a major renovation for our daughter and son-in-law and was very impressed with their work. Several years later my husband and I wanted to change the roof of our front porch. I was concerned that perhaps it would be too small a job but contacted them anyway. I got a prompt reply and visit from Paul to discuss options, draw up plans and give us an estimate. Everyone we dealt with in the company was friendly, professional and conscientious in their work. We are so pleased with the new portico and would highly recommend Winfield Builders! read more

Approximately three years ago, Winfield put a new standing seam metal roof on my back porch--and they just completed putting the same roof on the front porch. The company is extremely responsive and easy to work with, their quotes are thorough and their prices highly competitive (esp when you consider the value for money), the finished product looks fabulous, and there wasn't a speck of debris to clean up in the yard. Very very few contractors are as amazing as this one. read more

We did a complete makeover of our 40 yr old home including siding, gutters, downspouts, soffit, shutters, capping, etc. Winfield Builders looked at the job and gave a phenomenal quote and quoted the entire job would be completed in 1 week.
