I wanted a bay window installed and researched/met with a few contractors before coming across Winfield Builders. The other quotes I received were all over the map in terms of price and experience, but Winfield Builders hit the mark with both. Both Zach and Paul came out to my house for the quote and answered all my questions before we had even signed a contract. While they were there I took advantage and had them look at another large picture window with a rotted sill. We discussed various options in terms of replacement (something I was not ready to do for other reasons), but I was pleasantly surprised when they offered a perfect temporary solution that I hadn't thought of and it was much MUCH cheaper than replacing the whole window. The installation of the bay window went very smoothly despite the problems my older home presented. They even had to take apart and rebuild the preassembled hip roof to fit under the gutter so that there were no water leaks. Zach was there for the whole project and it was reassuring to have him supervise and jump in as needed to make adjustments. I really appreciated the extra time and effort they took to make sure things were done correctly. All the workers were very professional, courteous, and did not leave a mess after. We worked with Winfield Builders to have our roof replaced on our townhouse in November 2020. From the beginning to the end it was a pleasure working with Zach and his company. He was very responsive and communicated with me along every step of the process (appreciated as a first time homeowner). Pricing was very competitive and among the best from the 7 quotes I received from local companies and quality materials were used. They also offer a very comprehension warranty for the roof systems they install. I am taking baby steps with our newest home by replacing some key windows, entry door and back patio doors, and I selected Winfield out of a total of 3 vendors. Lemme tell ya why: Zach was extremely professional and down-right honest in talking with me about the options for materials, colors, features, etc. He did not rush me into anything that he felt I might be unhappy with. He was patient and provided valuable guidance in selecting what ended up looking like they came with the house -- only better. He was and is super responsive and just a very friendly guy! The install crew - Jim and Todd - was equally as awesome -- on time, c, considerate. The installs were clean and they paid attention to details. Approximately three years ago, Winfield put a new standing seam metal roof on my back porch--and they just completed putting the same roof on the front porch.
