ARHT Home Solutions just completed a series of home improvement projects that included replacing the entire roof of our home, installing new gutters, and painting our ceiling in the kitchen/living room/hallway and my husband and I couldn't be happier with the level of service and quality of the work done on our home. My husband and I noticed some shadows appearing on our kitchen and living room ceilings and figured that our roof needed some repairs so after some searching on the internet, we ended up contacting ARHT Home Solutions for a quote on roofing, gutters, and interior home repair services. ARHT Home Solutions responded to our inquiry very quickly and well within a week, Michael and Whitman came out to inspect our roof and interior repair needs. They took the time to look at our roof from the outside and also inspected the decking from inside the attic to asses our roofing needs and to provide us with a quote for roofing services. In short and not unexpectedly, their recommendation was for a total roof replacement, not just roof repairs (our roof was already at least 15 years old and had a myriad of problems). Michael took the time to explain the issues he saw with our roof (in addition to its age) and what our roofing materials options were before providing a quote. At each step of the way, he made it a point to make sure that we were comfortable with continuing the conversation of going with ARHT Home Solutions to address our roof replacement and then he took the extra time to work through our financing options. He presented us with a reasonable quote and we agreed on the spot to go with ARHT Home Solutions. Michael took us through every single step of our roof replacement so that there were no surprises on the day it was scheduled to take place. He was on site with the roof replacement crew and sent us updates throughout the day, including videos that showed in what terrible shape our roof was in (it is a miracle the roof hadn't collapsed yet). And though two days were scheduled to finish the roof replacement, he and his wonderful crew had the roof completely replaced in one day, which was amazing because that meant we didn't have to stay in a hotel overnight with our son and newborn baby. They went above and beyond by trimming back branches on a tree in the front yard to help prevent any damage to the roof and cleared out insulation that was blocking an exhaust vent. They did an amazing job cleaning up afterwards as well and when we returned home, you could barely tell anyone had been there at all. The interior repair work/ceiling painting was done two days later and the gentleman who came was very nice, quiet, and worked efficiently - he arrived early and was finished by mid-afternoon. He did an amazing job with the requested repair work and then painting everything. The gutters were installed the following week and the team that arrived were also here on time and installed the gutters in what seemed like record time. All of the work was completed within 2-3 weeks of our signing a work contract with ARHT Home Solutions and everything was done in a professional manner. The personal attention to detail and constant check-ins by Michael and all of the crews was very refreshing and extremely reassuring that our home was in good hands. This has been by far the best home improvement project experience we could have asked for and because Michael took the time to explain the possibility of any additional costs and kept us updated on every step of the roof replacement, there were no surprises. Thankfully, everything went to plan and the costs stayed within the original quote. I am glad that we chose to work with ARHT Home Solutions. We needed lots of work, We noticed some staining in our living room around our sky lights and in one corner of the room after a series of drenching storms. We started looking for a contractor to help us make the necessary repairs. We spoke with a few others who wanted to file claims and gave promises of fixing it and making a claim but they did not show any immediate interest in looking at the problem firsthand. We spoke with owner Michael of AHRT Home Solutions, he was the only one who seemed interested in knowing what was going on before discussing work. Based on what he saw he thoroughly walked us through the materials, processes and reasons for what was needed. Micheal arranged a time to schedule work, his team was prompt and professional, they showed up with ample equipment and workforce and were dressed professionally wearing company apparel. The people he sent to work on the house were dedicated teams who specialized in various steps of the roofing process. There was a roofing team, a drywall and painting team, a gutter team, and a trim work team. Our roof has many angles and is steeply pitched, the team used safety gear and harnesses to complete the work and managed to remove all the old shingles, skylights, felt and any necessary rotted wood, in the same day they replaced the wood, shingles, and skylights and upgraded felt. The next day the interior crew came to repair the drywall in the living room and paint. They did a great job covering things and their work was accurate and they even matched a 15 year old khaki color in the living room. At the same time he sent a crew to do our trim and gutters. The only hiccup was with the trim, the crew member who was working on the trim was more familiar with the gutters, he did a great job on the gutters, but when Micheal saw the trim we was unsatisfied with the installation, he made sure someone who was well versed with trim re-did the work, he also upgraded our trim caps. The new trim looks nicer than our neighbors caps now. It would have taken about 3 days originally to complete everything but it ended up taking 4 because of the trim recapping but was well worth it and we were pleasantly surprised that Michael took the initiative and added cost to himself to make it right without us pushing for it. He truly is a perfectionist who is the first to tell you that if he has not earned 5 stars then something is wrong and he intends to make it right. He uses the best materials and regularly oversees the work and communicates with the customer. ARHT Home Solutions did an excellent job replacing my roof. In Chevy Chase, MD, there is a lot of competition for contractors, and ARHT home solutions stood out. They had consistent and frequent communications throughout the process, keeping me informed of scheduling, materials delivery, and job progress. I did upgrade to the GAF HDZ Architectural Shake-wood colored shingles and synthetic underlayment, giving me a 50-year roof that looks great. They were able to match the flashing to the roof color, which made a big difference in the look around the chimney. The day of the installation, they arrived on time at 7:00 am, something that is hard to do in DC traffic without careful planning. They unloaded the roofing materials and cleared the street of their vehicle quickly, spread tarps around the house to catch debris that couldn't be tossed straight into their dumpster, conveniently parked in our driveway, and showed exceptional professionalism throughout the removal and install process. Even though they were missing half the crew because of sickness, they worked diligently and completed the work to high standards and within the estimated time window. This included the cleanup, which, being fall with leaves all over the ground, made it clear that they were committed to leaving the property cleaner than they found it. The post install walk-through was great to close the process. My point of contact had pictures of the installation process to show the condition of the planking under the roof; the roof install process; the craftmanship in installing flashing around the chimney, gables, and skylights; and ridge and valley treatments on my roof's many hips. It brought context to the final walk around to ensure I was satisfied with quality of the work. I couldn't be more pleased with the TPO flat roof installation completed by ARHT Solutions! I got my shingles replaced by a different company, but the company didn't do work on the rolling roof. As a result, I ended up getting some leaks and hire a different company to address the problem. I got estimates from a few other companies, but decided to go with ARHT because of their track record and fair price for the job. From start to finish, the ARHT team was professional, organized, and efficient. We were able to get get the estimate, draw up a contract and get financed in about two hours. After a brief wait for the weather to warm up a bit, I was able to get the new TPO flat roof system and gutters installed in just about two weeks. I really like that ARHT doesn't outsource their labor - the roofer who completed the job, Juan, was directly trained and employed by ARHT. Juan arrived on time, worked diligently, and impressively completed the job in just one day. He kept me informed throughout the process, ensuring I understood the progress and timeline. Not only did he do excellent work, but he also left the site spotless before leaving. ARHT Home Solutions was the only roofer willing to re-shingle my sunroom the way it needed to be done. The roof of my 21 y/o sunroom consists of 2" thick insulated metal panels where the original shingles were glued directly on to the panels. When those shingles started to come off, I spoke to a number of roofers who all told me the only way to fix my roof was to attach plywood to the top of the panels and then nail the shingles on top of that - a process which would puncture the insulated panels and likely lead to future maintenance issues. Widman Calderon of AHRT Home Solutions was the only roofer who understood the importance of avoiding nails and did the work the way it was originally done through the more labor-intensive process of gluing the shingles on -- which is exactly what I wanted! ARHT Home Solutions was a joy to work with. They were extremely responsive and communicative through every step of the way. Better yet, I signed the contract on Wednesday and job was completed the following Saturday. I was able to observe the high quality of their workmanship as they did the work, my yard was carefully cleaned-up when they finished, and I now have a beautiful sunroom roof. Met with Michael Anthony in regards to replacing my roof and gutters. After inspecting the roof Michael informed me that I had damage and suggested that we contact my insurance company. Michael worked with me and the insurance company and I was able to get my roof replaced for the cost of my deductible and I added a few upgrades. He and the team did a great job. We replaced our roof with ARHT Home Solutions!  They arrange a time and day to go over my alternatives.  We ultimately decided to have the roof replaced to match the original shade and style.  They told me that we would receive the materials the day before work began and that the team would show up early the install morning.  We requested a later start time due to having an infant in the home, but we were also informed that it might result in a completion delay. As we worked together, the onsite project manager was proactive with keeping us informed of his teams' development due to some rain delays and having to replace worned plywood.
