Loved our dinner here! After a day of hiking we were lucky enough to get in here before the crowds hit and also scored a table by one of the rollup doors. Pizza was good. The garage doors design around the restaurant were very chilly so don't sit on the outside - they definitely need some insulation panels. The Woodfire smelled amazing and it was great to be able to see into the fire pit. The gluten-free apple chicken Pizza came without being fully cut. I drove my mother last year to Canmore for her birthday... the weather was crisp and the mountain background was spectacular. The first restaurant we saw was Rocky Mountain Flat bread Co. And were surprised to be quickly seated during the noon hour, the staff were welcoming and helpful by giving us the "special of the day" and bring us our appetizers right away (my mother is diabetic and her sugar was low). They offered her water and free tea, we had their Caesar salad and Gluten Free Pizza... you know the foods good when it leaves memories of enjoyment and pure pleasure to your taste buds. With previous comments I read about service I was a little worried about "how long". The friendly and bubbly hostess assured us it would be only 20 minutes and within 15 we were seated. We love it so much that we have even called in a pick up order to grab if we are just driving thru Canmore to have on our road trip!! One of the best meals we had in Canmore. I had a cup of soup (cauliflower/sage with cheddar) and hubby had a bowl of chicken noodle soup. Both were delicious. We shared a 13 inch pizza (the tomato and basil) and added beef pepperoni. It was delicious! The service was great too! read more

Very good meal. Excellent service and great food. Our server looked after us brilliantly, and came to check on us several times during the meal. I ordered the Goats Cheese and Fig Salad- very good, and we also had the Meat Pizza, two kid's meals and the Caprese Pizza as well. All of it was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our pizzas the first time we ate here, so much so we came back. We arrived around 6:30 on a Monday night and ended up waiting at least an hour. After a day in the mountains, we were hungry. Thankfully my teenager was able to order a cup of soup and my spouse a beer at the bar while we waited. My teenager ordered the chicken calzone. It came with a choice of sauces and ordered the roasted red pepper. It was tasty. We ordered the large chicken Apple pizza (about $27) to share. It was a disappointment. The toppings were skimpy and the flavors mushed together. It not enough food to feed two people unless they had an appetizer or salad. We did enjoy the dessert pizza again. Our family had lunch at this excellent restaurant in July. Design of the restaurant is very cool. The pizzas are baked in a huge oven that is located in one corner. The place has rolling doors instead of windows. Enjoyed seeing the mountains across the street. The service was great from the minute we walked in. The pizzas and salads were delicious. Awesome food & service. Went there on the 1st night in Canmore, the place was packed at 5 pm so I knew this place was legit. Order salad, can't remember what it's called (best salad by far) & house special soup on that day (some kind of yam soup, it was just ok). The highlight was pizza. It's a thin crust with 1/2 meat & 1/2 seafood. Have to say 1/2 seafood one didn't go very well (taste wise) but they used a very good quality salmon and shrimp. You can tell all the ingredients are very fresh, after your first bite. After we finished our pizza, and knowing the quality of the ingredients, we almost wished we had tried their sun dried tomato flatbread. Yup - they got it right - the flatbread (pizza) is good and the salads are good. Just a heads up - if you are going there and expecting the whole American Heart Attack Meat Lover's pizza - you won't find it. These guys are doing solid, balanced proportions that present wonderful flavors of all the pizzas you love without overdoing it. It's not a huge place so if you are a group of 4 or more - go a little earlier for lunch or dinner - they will move tables around for larger groups but you will have to wait! My husband and I spent last week in Canmore/Banff and this was by far our favorite restaurant! We liked it so much we came for dinner twice. The pizzas and salad we had were amazing. i'm sorry but i cannot understand what the fuss with this place is about. the highlights were the homemade lemonade and the tea we had. the pizzas were simply awful. putting some toppings on a cracker doesn't make it a pizza. this is what the pizza there was like. my dough was so thin and i like thin, i'm not a deep dish pizza person, but this was resembled a cracker or a dry old pita bread with topping. the toppings itself were ok. but the pizzas are heavily overpriced as well and they just do not fill you up. we were both hungry when we left. the service was attentive and nice. read more
