First time here. It was packed on a Saturday at 10am. You wait in line to place your order then they bring food to the table. The breakfast burrito was delicious, especially with the toasted salsa and cheese on top. The wrap was good as well but didn't quite have the same amazing flavor of the burrito. Wish they would include the lettuce, guac, and sour cream with the wrap. Service was friendly and fast. They have cute merch too (t-shirts & hats). We'd love to try more on the menu!

We were looking for a Good place for breakfast and this place satisfied just that. As you enter you have a huge chalk art menu that's pretty neat. You can grab your table then order as well. They have some pretty good breakfast options and coffee and much more. We ended up getting their traditional breakfast with potatoes, 2 eggs and toast and choice of bacon or sausage. We also got an order of the Belgian waffles and they were so delicious and fluffy and so flavorful came with butter and syrup. We got a latte and OJ but it wasn't fresh squeezed but still good. When you order your food you get the coolest toys and figurines (Dinosaurs, Joker) pretty neat instead of your usual numbers or buzzards. They also have these cool flip signs that say please clean me or Sanitized so another person can sit there and they are quick to clean them as well. Very easy going ambiance and the waitresses here and people taking order were very chill and hardworking. There are only a few tables inside but there is a nice outdoor seating outside with umbrellas if you want to chill outside. Their bathrooms were small but very clean and lived their soap selection from Rocky Soap company it's my favorite lemongrass it's been everywhere and a nice touch. Def a great spot to grab a bite to eat.

Went here for a brunch with 8 people and there was plenty of room for us comfortably. They took our orders quickly and were so kind to us. Each of us got a different food and no one was disappointed! All such good taste! Would definitely come back.

Fast food, friendly staff. The burrito was yummy, not dry and very tasty. Too many potatoes but a good hearty meal, enough to share. The cappuccino was great, highly recommend. My friend ordered Belgian waffles, also very good.

Busy place on weekends. Quite pricey for the portions. Self -serve water which is nice. In door and some patio seating. Place is cozy and a fun brunch spot.

I had a delicious breakfast at the summit cafe and enjoyed my dinning experience immensely. You order at the counter and they give cute figurines to mark your table. The menu has vegan/vegetarian options and they have a full coffee menu. I opted for the veggie omelet which came with potatoes and 2 pieces of buttered toast. My breakfast was amazing! The omelet was packed with a variety of fresh vegetables, the potatoes were perfectly cooked and even the jam was 5 stars. I noted that Canadian condiments don't have high fructose corn syrup in them and I could really taste the difference. The ketchup was so good too! I got a dirty chai latte and one of their big chocolate chip cookies as well. The chai was alright, but I tasted my friends americano and that was really delicious. Our group sat outside and the views were simply breathtaking. If you're in Canmore, you must dine here for an unforgettable feast!

SUPER COOL SPOT! This cafe was so cute and I loved that it had character to it. It is a great place to start before heading to Banff for some nature. We came pretty early around opening and noticed that it got crowded pretty quickly on a Saturday morning, so keep that in mind, because this place certainly seems to be popular! FYI - the breakfast and lunch menu are both available all day from what I can recall, which is great. I ended up getting the Grotto bowl (lunch menu item) and my boyfriend ended up getting the Huevos Rancheros (breakfast menu item) and both came out looking like a million bucks. I personally LOVED the Grotto bowl so much and the Tahini-lime dressing that comes with it was unique and amazing to me. I recommend adding a fried egg to make the bowl even better than it already is! The cold brew here was good too and not overly strong. My favorite thing about this restaurant though are the "runners" that they provide you to associate you with your order, which is basically like a "number" that you place on the table at an ordinary restaurant. These "runners" come as random figurines (i.e., dinosaurs, monsters, chickens, etc.) and I find it extremely dorky and cute. Definitely makes the experience more fun! I loved this spot and would totally come again :)

I dropped into the Summit because their menu is diverse, always very good and the service is always excellent. I ordered my usual the Burrito Breakfast along with Guatemalan coffee. Portions are always substantial. I love the cozy home feeling you get here. It's like eating in your kitchen or outdoor patio. I am never disappointed. Today's was extra yummy . I must have been extra hungry and I left full and satisfied. Good job Summit staff. See you again real soon

The views are surreal at this restaurant. It is busy for breakfast. Staff is friendly and provides excellent service. Had a breakfast sandwich and it was delicious! Highly recommend this after or before a morning hike.

Returned one year later, and the food and service is still outstanding. Small cafe with great food and ambiance. You need to stop I. For breakfast/lunch if in the area. Only open until 130pm, but always a constant stream of people coming and going. Can't wait to return!

The cutest place on earth to get your morning coffee and enjoy brunch. The service was friendly and so was the atmosphere. If I lived in the area, I'd be a frequent customer. My caramel latte was perfect. The lemonade is delicious as can be. The chicken quesadilla was one of the freshest I've ever had. My Dad also said he had the best club sandwich of his life here. Check it out!

The melt stood out to us due to the coconutty flavor but I would order both again! There were plenty of seats available and service was quick. The restaurant itself has a lot of vibrant local jewelry and teas for sale as well! I would rather here again!

Breakfast/Lunch Stop Worth the Detour…read more I'm a pretty picky eater. Not because I want to be, but because I have to be. I try to eat vegetarian in the morning, and I'm allergic to wheat, which makes dining out a little more complicated than it should be. My boyfriend found this little café outside Banff, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the better food surprises of the trip. We both ordered the Pad Thai -- one loaded with extra protein, one without. I had low expectations. I've eaten enough Thai food to know that about 7 or 8 out of 10 places overcook the noodles. They become soft, mushy, and fall apart the moment you touch them. Not here. The noodles were cooked perfectly -- still chewy with a nice bite. The peanut sauce was another pleasant surprise. It wasn't overly sweet or heavy like many North American versions. The balance was just right. The spice level was mild, which I appreciated because the dish actually tasted like Pad Thai instead of being buried under a mountain of chili. The vegetables were generous, fresh, and plentiful. My boyfriend's chicken portion wasn't huge, but there was plenty of tofu, which made sense since the dish is originally designed as a vegetarian option. The chef seemed to add the chicken as an extra rather than making it the star of the plate. The portion looked manageable when it arrived. It was not. I couldn't finish mine, and my boyfriend had to rescue the remaining noodles. Pad Thai: 4/5 The Vegan Berry Scone was light, not greasy, and not overly sweet. The strawberries and blueberries added little bursts of tartness, and there was a nice oat flavor throughout. My only complaint? It might have been too healthy. A tiny bit more sweetness could have taken it from "good" to "wow." Vegan Berry Scone: 3/5 The Vegan Chocolate Cake was exactly what a chocolate lover would want. Rich dark chocolate flavor without being sugary or overwhelming. It was a little dense and heavy, but in a comforting way that made me keep reaching for another bite. If the cake itself were slightly more moist, it would be nearly perfect. That said, making something both vegan and gluten-free that tastes this good deserves credit. Vegan Chocolate Cake: 4/5 What really impressed me was the overall value. Since the café is outside the main Banff tourist zone, prices are much more reasonable, parking is easy, and they offer a surprisingly large selection of gluten-free and vegan options. For someone like me, who usually spends half the meal interrogating the menu, that alone is worth celebrating. Final Rating: 4/5 Good food, fair prices, easy parking, and plenty of options for people with dietary restrictions. I'd absolutely come back. In fact, if I'm passing through again, I probably won't bother looking for another place.
