Their BF menu board only has 5 items WITHOUT price and you would never thought its a $24 for a piece of toast with half a avocado & 1 egg with some decorative veggies. 2 Eggs Benedict for $25. Coffee is more than tea. And you couldn't find their menu on Yelp either. I was dumbfounded to pay $65 for 2 small BF dishes . Lesson learned theres a reason why no price anywhere for you to find out afterwards. The owner was friendly but...I would never sit down to anywhere ever again if no prices on the item. You would never thought BF plate is the same as full meal dinner. It's very telling now that I remember you asked each table ( only 4 tables) where they're from. Local or tourist. It's very dishonest & why you don't display prices for your menu anywhere before they order. A-lot more BF restaurants in downtown Banff for half of what you're charging. We stopped here for breakfast during our last day in Banff and it was the perfect reward after a week of early mornings and full days of hiking. The staff welcomed us from the moment we stepped in and explained that everything was made from scratch. Coffee was self serve. My boyfriend ordered a cinnamon bun and the hostess made sure to check if we'd like it heated up. While we enjoyed the gooey bun our main selections were being made. I ordered what was probably the best omelet I've ever had and my boyfriend ordered eggs on toast. Our potatoes were cooked to perfection, and my sourdough bread was topped with herbed butter. In short, exception detail paid to everything, food and service both - a delightful experience all around. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll remember this spot for sure! We are glad we chose to have breakfast here. The food was amazing and the owner and daughter were very kind and helpful. We got there towards the end of service but they were happy to have us. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough. Came here with my family for a quick breakfast before we left town and had such a great experience. The staff is all one family and their hospitality makes you feel like an honorary member of the family. They were so nice and helpful showing us the menu and the bakery, the care and attention they put into the food is highly noticeable. Came here with 10 people at 12pm and they immediately sat us down. The family that works there were really warm to us. They explained to us the menu and we ordered the avocado and smoked salmon benedict. Both were really good! My personal favorite is the avocado toast. I've tried a lot of avocado toast but I think this is the best one so far. The chef also explained that they didn't use yeast for the bread so it took them 2 days to make it. This place is a true gem! The food and service are so good we came twice in our three days in Banff. The couple who own and run this place are so delightful and go out of their way to accommodate requests you might have. In addition to what we ate there, we bought macaroons and the next time a muffin and a Peyot Protein Bar. Everything was excellent. The protein bar was the best I've ever had, and I just ate it this week (almost two months after I bought it)! I'm going to call and see if I can order some mailed to me. Wow, what a find! Thank you Yelp for leading us to this place. This is a tiny (4-5 tables inside) joint that's only open for breakfast and lunch in the middle of Banff's industrial area. There are two or three parking spots in front, otherwise park on the street and walk on in. The ambiance is very functional but the husband and wife who are the chefs/cooks will greet you warmly and tell you the handful of options they have for breakfast and lunch. You'll order, grab some self serve coffee and enjoy the warmth as they prepare everything fresh. We ordered the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and the avocado toast.
