Stopped in here for an early breakfast and loved it! Its off the beaten path but doesn't stop the crowds - from the moment they opened there was a constant flow of patrons. We were lucky to get a table cause we were there early. Had the Buddha Savory Crepe and it was perfectly cooked and tasted perfect! Also carried out a raspberry croissant and was blown away at how flaky and perfectly laminated it was. It also wasn't as sweet as what you typically get, this just had the right amount of sweetness Really wanted one of their sourdough loaves but was about to fly home with no space in the suitcase !! Food: everything was delicious 5/5 BC berry tart - flakes pastry with custard and topped with fresh berries 4.5/5 brie bacon quiche it was served with a small salad when ordered for in house dining. The quiche crust was a nice flakey pastry and the quiche tasted delicious with onions, bacon and brie. Husband tried the brittany's breakfast crepe and a mocha. I also got a blueberry brioche to go, it smells so good, but I haven't eaten it yet. Service: order at the counter, they give you a number, and bring the food to your table. The line was long but moved fairly quickly. They have bins to place your dishes in the corner when you finish eating. Ambiance: quaint little cafe with enough seating area. If you are a tourist looking for a coffee shop, this is the one. It is sorta in a weird spot but aces across the board. Friendly staff. Delicious coffee. Amazing pastries and other food options. EPICanmore is a bakery and cafe located on the other side of town from downtown. We were recommended to visit after visiting another coffee shop. Came here with my partner on a weekday morning and it wasn't too busy. There are a couple of tables outside. Upon entering, we were not greeted by the staff until it was our turn to place an order. The inside space is cute. There are plants all around and the cashier counter looks like the front of a VW bus. There is bar seating and some tables inside. We ordered a Parisian Flan and a Strawberry Brioche. Our order came out quickly. The Parisian Flan had a nice filling which was creamy and smooth. It was custard-like but not eggy. The pastry was very thin underneath and the sides were flaky. The Strawberry Brioche was crispy and flaky. The closer we got to the middle, the softer the pastry was. There was also a bit of cream in the middle. Both items were not too sweet. Overall, giving EPICanmore a 4.5/5. Our experience here was good and the pastries are solid. Very nice ambiance for hanging out. Would recommend to anyone staying in or passing through Canmore. Would like to try their drinks next time. read more

We kept coming back to this place while we were in Canmore for the great drinks and fantastic baked goods. The quality of the bread was truly outstanding. The coffee comes from local roaster Eclipse, but Epi has a cute little storefront and a cozy seating area, and again, absolutely killer baked goods all made on site and naturally leavened. The only things we didn't really try were the crepes, so I can't speak to those, but everything else we got was delicious. read more

Loved their apricot anise sourdough and savory crepes! Very fresh and delicious. Beautiful setting as well.

The quiche was very good. The consistency of the egg was perfect, not over done. The flavor was great too, a nice amount of cheese. The avocado toast with egg added was great too. Any of their baked goods are a treat. The employees are friendly. There are some tables inside and outside. Even mid morning they're still busy, but worth the wait for sure. read more

I tried the breakfast crepe - it was pretty bland and egg is served very runny UNLESS you order takeout then it's cooked thoroughly. Mediterranean crepe was good. Flavorful too. Cardamom bun and blueberry brioche were 10/10. Crepes took over 20minutes. Lattes are also good here. read more

I came here with a friend. I brought my food from a different place because I had already bought food prior to meeting her up and she wanted to try this place. I sat inside, my friend ordered. When the food was delivered to my friend the owner, very aggressive asked me, "how do you think I pay my cooks, and staff here" surprised by her comment I said, "excuse me?" And she repeated the question again. I then said, is there an issue with me bringing outside food in? Because there is no sign outside stating otherwise. She said, "as a matter of fact yes, and I would like for you not to eat in my restaurant" she kicked both me and my friend out, we ended up eating outside. My friend bought food there and she was also kicked out. I absolutely do not recommend this placed based on the treatment and aggressiveness and the way she went about this. read more

It was very busy and the gentleman who served me was extremely helpful and great sense of humor. The staff were all very friendly. Decided to order the carrot, ginger and spiced soup...Absolutely YUMMY!!!! The restaurant is very clean, bright atmosphere and very relaxing. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. Definitely coming back here. The decor is very homey with plants, nik Naks plants, flowers and cute pictures. Their regular coffee is amazingly good compared to other restaurants...has flavourful and body! Also bought their black and white sesame seed and tahini bread. Hard to find good food when you're traveling to small mountain towns. We're also from Los Angeles so blessed w amazing food options. This place is a god send!!!!
