Recommended by our tour guide as one of the OG coffee places in addition to some great coffee. The menu has coffee, teas, smoothie and food items. I ordered the cafe mocha with out the whip cream and changed the milk to oat making it dairy free. The coffee was good. There are some coffee that just don't hit, but this one did. It was a good blend of sweetness with the mocha and coffee. Also grabbed me a sticker as there were so cute! Wish we had planned ahead for food in the area otherwise I would have ordered breakfast here. Lines may seem long, butoves quickly. read more

First time here and I got a passion fruit iced matcha latte. You can definitely taste the passion fruit. Matcha was ok. The hot chocolate was good too. They have a lot of food and pastries. Also didn't know they served alcohol here. Next time I'm back in Canada I'm coming back here! They have a lot of space too and an outdoor area as well. read more

Time for a sandwich and a Americano - I May change this name to a Mexicano or a Canadiano - Americano not longer suits . So I'm inline at Beamer's - I order my sandwich and hot drink - my server scrutinizes my premade sandwich - and decides that MY sandwich should be made fresh before being inserted into the Professional sandwich toaster grill. There's usually a long line but it moves really fast so don't let that deter you. They have several vegan options. The drinks and food were great! We took it to go because it was quite busy and crowded inside and we had our dog with us. But you could sit in or outside. read more

I had walked by this place a few times and it always looked busy. On our way home, I decided to stop by and give it a try. We were the first in line but within minutes that placed had filled up with the line up going right to the door. We ordered a lavender london fog and salted caramel latte. Both had pretty good flavours. It would've been nice to taste a bit more coffee in the latte. The drinks were decent but I wouldn't say were superb. We paid $13 for 2 medium drinks. The large was massive. Out of all the coffee shops I've been to in my life, I've never seen places serve coffee in a togo cup that big. What stood out to me is how hot my drink managed to stay for the first hour of our drive. Normally when I ask for extra hot, a drink doesn't tend to stay hot for very long. They had quite a selection of coffee to choose from based on where the beans were from. It looks like you can get free refills of coffee as they had the different carafes on the counter. They also had a good selection of caffeinated drinks as well as standard cafe foods (sandwiches, wraps, pastries etc.) They had a good amount of seating if you wanted to stay and lounge. Staff was nice but a bit short if you weren't instantly ready. There is a private lot as it's located in a small plaza. read more

Everything is good here, especially the dirty chai latte! My friends enjoyed several pastries and loved them. Their favorite was a white chocolate espresso muffin type pastry. I had the lox bagel sandwich to start our day. It uniquely had cucumber in combination with the usual onion and capers. Loved it! This review is coming in a little late. I visited this place back in July 2023. Today morning I was craving for some good maple coffee and I got reminded of Beamer's and the amazing Canadian mocha that I had. I was in Canmore for 4 days and we came to Beamer's almost everyday. The Canadian mocha ( maple syrup sweetened mocha) was such a hit!! Also loved the chocolate overnight oats. I wish we had a similar coffee place closer home. read more

A cute coffee shop with tons of offerings for everyone! Drinks Beamer's menu boasts all your espresso favorites plus a few special drinks of their own creation. My group ordered pretty standard drinks: lattes, chai tea and a drip coffee. All great. Food The pastry cases here are stocked full of the usual suspects: croissants, HUGE cookies, and muffins, galore. Also available for order are sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, bagels and wraps. There was even a vegan tofu breakfast wrap with a gluten free wrap. I didn't have a chance to taste it but it sure looked good. A note: the "avocado" is actually packaged guac spread. Not an issue, just thought I'd mention this to avoid any disappointments!! The service is quick and friendly but the space is definitely set up in such a way you wouldn't want to stay. The food and pastries are generous and reasonably price. Beamer's wound up being our go-to during our stay in Canmore. Definitely recommend! read more

My group came by for a quick breakfast because we were staying nearby. Love the quick service and helpful menu. I got the Miner's wrap and match latte. I think the matcha latte is more milky than matcha and not overly sweet. The wrap was extremely flavorful. I think the only downside to it is that there weren't a lot of chicken. It was mostly spinach. We got to sit outside and enjoy the view so that's a plus. read more

Open early at 6AM for a convenient pit stop prior to your morning outings. They even have a dedicated parking lot with many spots which were aplenty at 7AM in the morning. A line was already present but went quickly. In addition to your fresh coffee, they have plenty of hot and pre-made food which are priced reasonably and are with larger than normal helpings. I grabbed a breakfast wrap for the morning and we also added on cold sandwiches. Said cold sandwiches with turkey were spectacular some hours later at the top of Sentinel Pass! Only gripe is that staff proclaims friendliness but the cashier straight up changed my order to a medium coffee versus the medium "cafe latte". There are other locations in the main down town area along side another popular "chain". This one is far and away more preferred, however! read more

The coffee is excellent! I had a perfect cappuccino- I would love the chance to try other drinks in the future. My husband loved his drip coffee and all the different drip options that were available, and he also seemed to enjoy his breakfast sandwich. I had a strawberry rhubarb "health" muffin- I love the idea, but think it would have been a lot better had I asked the barista to heat it up for me. Great location in close proximity to everything. Easy pull off coffee stop if you're on your way to Banff. They have a lovely outdoor patio with great views of the mountains. Their staff was super welcoming. The caramel lattes came out fast and were delish! They also have HUGE delicious muffins that I regret not getting. Pretty good! Lots of non coffee options, which as a non coffee drinker I really appreciate. The breakfast wraps were kind of just ok in my opinion, but they have a lot of other food options that look good. Also the drinks are huge, it's very clean, and the ambience is really nice. read more

Family had coffee (latte varieties) and they were good quantity, but nothing special. Wife had GF muffin and she said the one bite she had was like swallowing gum. She threw the rest away. I had raspberry and white chocolate and it was good. No one else complained or was super ecstatic about their food. Service was good and you can't beat the ambiance. Overall, if you are after just coffee and food you can not worry about missing this place, but if you want to stay and experience the ambiance, it is worth a stop. read more

The coffee was very good and the service outstanding but what kept me coming back were the "healthy" muffins. Oats, seeds, nuts, and fruit. delicious. And they were size so that I could eat some right away and stick some in my backpack to eat after the gym or on a hike later. read more

So good the first time, decided to come back again. Hot Americano was very flavorful especially with the added cocoa sprinkled on top. The HUGE Mango muffin was fruit filled but a little on the dry side. However, thats due to the healthiness of the muffin. I take it back. Finished the muffin and delish! Meh. I didn't love Beamers. I found it overpriced and lacking options for those who don't want coffee - asked for iced tea and was told I would have to wait 10 minutes for it to be brewed and then poured over ice. Banana loaf was dry - kiddo didn't eat it. Husband really enjoyed his Apple Pie Cider. Purchased a bag of coffee to bring home - Guatemala. It's also just okay. Our bill came to $34 for one coffee, one can of kombucha, a slice of banana loaf and a package of coffee. read more

This new location is large, modern design, clean, accessible and popular. Lots of parking. The owners are very nice and friendly. Their breakfast wraps and baked goods are delicious and their range of coffees has something for everyone. Prices are reasonable. They are very supportive of the community. Their staff is well trained and friendly. I usually drop into this location when walking by or need to pickup a quick coffee or snack. Good wifi and meeting spot to share with friends. It's OK. Travelling cup is cool. Service is very arrogant, Coffee is somewhat overpriced, it's like going to Starbucks. It's a famous place here but there are so many better places. The new location is beyond beautiful & the coffee and service is even better! They offer charging stations for phones & a gorgeous meeting room, free to reserve for meetings, to work, edit photos etc for customers which I find amazing. Lots of gluten-free products and the turmeric latte and smoked salmon bagel are second to none! With views of the mountains, staff who remember your name and an environment they encourage you to relax and be present - what more could you ask for ? read more

In Canmore for meetings and had some time to kill in the morning. Went for a walk and saw Beamer's not far from where I was staying. Walked in and was greeted by a friendly staff member immediately. All I got was a coffee to stay, so I can't comment on any food items. Selection of coffees was good. The staff member who helped me even warmed up my mug with hot water! Bonus points for that. Pretty typical coffee shop decor. Coffee was great, music was the right level, good experience. Definitely recommend. read more
