There are multiple locations of Eclipse Coffee Roasters in Canmore, we stopped by the Railway Avenue location to get some caffeine before starting our day. The interior was spacious and modern. Aside from coffee, they also sell beans and merch. The latte I ordered was creamy and balanced. I would recommend this place!

    Mushroom pie. AMAZING

Went here every morning while on vacation. Love the vibes, coffee, and pastries. Those pies are something to write home about!

Pretty cool gourmet coffee spot in Canmore. We didn't spend too much time inside but it's a very millennial style deco. Latte was good and reasonably priced considering Canmore is a tourist town.

Excellent pour over coffee made with a V60. The barista that handled my order was on point & it was the best cup of coffee in the region. Good service & flavor with a chill vibe.

Definitely recommend on stopping by to try their coffee! This is probably the best coffee I had throughout my trip. This place is highly rated and recommended by others. I tried their Americano, and I absolutely love it! It has a low acidic taste, and it has a rich coffee aroma/taste but is not intensely bold/strong. I think the coffee is perfectly roasted to taste the aftertaste. The staffs are very friendly and welcoming. The shop is spacious, and has lots of seating. Really like their design, it is simple and cozy. Great place to hang out, study, and relax. Definitely recommend this coffee shop, and grab a few bags of beans.

We were driving from lake Louise to Calgary and we made a quick coffee stop at this great roaster. We had latte, cappuccino and flat white all were Great . We also tried their decaf and it was delicious. Very nice open space, they sell some merchandise too. We all ended up buying beans to take home with us!

Quick coffee spot. Delicious and kind staff! Would definitely go back to get some work done or see a friend.

Classic espresso shop with the basics! Nothing too fancy or sweet, which I prefer! The espresso was well balanced and the inside had a great vibe! Lots of seating to work/study from and pretty good wifi. Great little hangout in town with good coffee. They also have a wide selection of beans with fresh roast dates marked on the packages for anyone who is looking for beans for their at home espresso!

We needed afternoon coffee for our drive and discovered Eclipse. Friendly service, beautiful space, and based on others review I tried the lavender latte. Omg, yum. It's so smooth. My hub got a drip coffee and said it was also excellent.

Good Coffee, great place to chill

This coffee shop in Canmore is a must visit! The ambience of the decor is clean, minimalistic, and beautiful. The service and the staff is excellent! We tried the cappuccino, butter chicken and steak pie. The butter chicken pie is the best I have ever eaten! The crust was flaky and soft. The butter chicken was simply divine! So flavorful! This is a must try. The cappuccino was great. I love the coffee blend they use. A wonderful addition was the child play area.. they have so many toys that it is a wonderful way or even children to remain entertained in a coffee shop. The space is massive coming to floors. And they offer one hour a free Wi-Fi. Overall: I would highly recommend eclipse!

Hands down - the best cup of coffee I had while in Canmore! The shop is plenty big with room for sitting on top. They have a dedicated play area for kids, which is amazing! Why don't other places think of this? The coffee shop is clean, staff is polite and helpful and as mentioned above the coffee is amazing! They have limited food options - so cheesecakes, brownies, sausage rolls and pies. Another must try is the butter chicken pie! Tastes authentic and yum! Highly highly recommend visiting this spot to get your morning caffeine or just to relax if you are in Canmore!

My favorite coffee place to stop in Canmore. Coming from Calgary, anytime I'm on trans Canada highway passing through, this is always a must stop for me. I love their London Fog if it's in the afternoon and in the early mornings, any of their espresso drinks are great. My favorite espresso drinks to order is the cortado or flat white. They roast their own beans just to my liking. I love that they've grown into this beautiful new space with a second floor as well as a second location. I remember stopping by Eclipse back when it was a tiny one room coffee shop. Enjoy watching businesses like this thrive.

The melt stood out to us due to the coconutty flavor but I would order both again! There were plenty of seats available and service was quick. The restaurant itself has a lot of vibrant local jewelry and teas for sale as well! I would rather here again!

Breakfast/Lunch Stop Worth the Detour…read more I'm a pretty picky eater. Not because I want to be, but because I have to be. I try to eat vegetarian in the morning, and I'm allergic to wheat, which makes dining out a little more complicated than it should be. My boyfriend found this little café outside Banff, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the better food surprises of the trip. We both ordered the Pad Thai -- one loaded with extra protein, one without. I had low expectations. I've eaten enough Thai food to know that about 7 or 8 out of 10 places overcook the noodles. They become soft, mushy, and fall apart the moment you touch them. Not here. The noodles were cooked perfectly -- still chewy with a nice bite. The peanut sauce was another pleasant surprise. It wasn't overly sweet or heavy like many North American versions. The balance was just right. The spice level was mild, which I appreciated because the dish actually tasted like Pad Thai instead of being buried under a mountain of chili. The vegetables were generous, fresh, and plentiful. My boyfriend's chicken portion wasn't huge, but there was plenty of tofu, which made sense since the dish is originally designed as a vegetarian option. The chef seemed to add the chicken as an extra rather than making it the star of the plate. The portion looked manageable when it arrived. It was not. I couldn't finish mine, and my boyfriend had to rescue the remaining noodles. Pad Thai: 4/5 The Vegan Berry Scone was light, not greasy, and not overly sweet. The strawberries and blueberries added little bursts of tartness, and there was a nice oat flavor throughout. My only complaint? It might have been too healthy. A tiny bit more sweetness could have taken it from "good" to "wow." Vegan Berry Scone: 3/5 The Vegan Chocolate Cake was exactly what a chocolate lover would want. Rich dark chocolate flavor without being sugary or overwhelming. It was a little dense and heavy, but in a comforting way that made me keep reaching for another bite. If the cake itself were slightly more moist, it would be nearly perfect. That said, making something both vegan and gluten-free that tastes this good deserves credit. Vegan Chocolate Cake: 4/5 What really impressed me was the overall value. Since the café is outside the main Banff tourist zone, prices are much more reasonable, parking is easy, and they offer a surprisingly large selection of gluten-free and vegan options. For someone like me, who usually spends half the meal interrogating the menu, that alone is worth celebrating. Final Rating: 4/5 Good food, fair prices, easy parking, and plenty of options for people with dietary restrictions. I'd absolutely come back. In fact, if I'm passing through again, I probably won't bother looking for another place.

Soup Sandwiches to the rescue!!…read more After a day of hiking and exploring in the Mountains, we were tired, sore, and hangry. Noshing throughout the day we were set on a good soup and sandwich combo. We checked multiple locations and either it was high-end foo foo or just more than we want or just worse. It was pub grub and they had one soup and they weren't sure what it was. We found Wild Flour. They offer multiple soups and sandwiches and a few treats. Kathy selected a carrot fennel bowl (massive) and served with fresh bread and butter, I had a meat and cheese grilled cheese on a focaccia bread, Of course we "shar-zies" and the comfort was enjoyed. The team at 630pm was helpful and prompt guided us as we had not eaten at Wild Flour. Good food, reasonably priced for Banff is a find. Go to Wild Flour and enjoy... we did.

Really nice little cafe with excellent pastries…read more I had the almond croissant. Crispy with tons of almonds and a decent almond flavour. The almond paste is to die for - clearly amongst the best. Sweet and rich but not too sweet. Clearly they bake it themselves and it's very substantial. I tried the apple pie cinnamon oat tea latte. Yes the name is a mouthful. It is an amazing drink. Wonderful taste! Good place to stop by and hang out in the morning. Not crowded and people are just hanging out on their laptops etc.
