Brunch was delicious. Service was awesome from our Australian server and looking out at the mountains listening to good tunes made the meal complete.

My friends and I were looking for healthy late lunch spot and stumbled upon this place online. Four out of five of us ordered the winter salad and my fifth friend ordered the wedge salad. Overall the food was very delicious especially considering salads or some times pretty simple plates. I also ordered the butter bread rolls which were amazing, they make there own butter and you can taste the difference! Really cute spot if you're looking for some casual and traditional dishes.

A vibrant spot for a New Canadian style meal. Everyone in my party loved the vibe here, and our server was patient and knowledgeable about guiding us through the menu. The specialize in wood-fired dishes, so we made sure to lean into those options. We all sampled an appetizer order of grilled eggplant spears covered in olive oil and a sprinkle of cheese. Delish! My wife and I love wood-fired pizzas, so we went with the rotisseries chicken pie for our main (to share). It came piping hot, topped with rotisserie chicken chunks, chorizo, red onion slices, mushrooms, a cream sauce base and a chipotle ranch drizzle. Perfecto! They are also well known for their actual rotisserie chicken dish...but we'll have to save that for the next time.

This was our first lunch stop after settling down in our hotel, and it was so delicious! We came just in time for happy hour, and everything was delicious. I ordered a blackberry mule, and it was refreshing and well balanced. My friends and I also got espresso martinis, and they were objectively delicious but too strong for me (I'm a baby when it comes to the taste of liquor). We had a great time munching on their salad, Parker rolls, and pizza. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in the town, so I highly recommend you stop in for their happy hour as well! Our waiter was so friendly and nice, and service was top notch.

While we were in Banff, we decided to check out Farm and Fire since it was a restaurant that was recommended online by some others. The location is pretty convenient since it's just in the middle of Banff, so it was pretty easy to get to. We decided to make a reservation beforehand as well, so we were able to be seated pretty quickly after we arrived. The interior is quite cozy and nice, which can be a good contrast with the weather outside when it's cold. We decided to get a few items like fish and chips, a brisket pizza, and some ribs. The food here was all great, everything was well-made and I don't think I had complaints with any of them. The fish and chips I enjoyed a lot in particular, especially since the crisp on the fish and fries were well-done. Overall, this is a nice brunch spot that I would recommend in Banff!

Super healthy and fresh ingredients! Tasted incredibly clean and honestly a great break from everything we had been eating on the trip. It's located inside a hotel. Interior was super cute and giving modern rustic. We didn't have a reservation for brunch, and they were pretty packed because it was Christmas, but they were still able to fit us in which we really appreciated. Service was quick and our waitress was super sweet.

Great food and friendly service! We stopped in for a quick bite and our waiter was very accommodating. We ordered ducking good time and holy cow. Names of the dishes are quirky and fun. The duck dish was better than the beef, although both were very good. The interior was really nice too, good lighting and overall pleasant ambiance.

Farm & Fire was the first meal I ate in Banff before our tour to Lake Louise and it was memorable. We had no reservation and luckily got seated in about 5 mins. Service was prompt. Shout out to our server Tommy (Australian guy) for being friendly and helpful with recs. Restaurant is cozy, vibrant, and busy. I got the classic breakfast and a latte. I honestly thought this place was a tourist trap and had no expectations but the food was so fresh and flavorful. I thoroughly enjoyed everything on my plate and was pleasantly surprised with my experience. Highly recommend!

This was our last day in Banff, and we came to town to get some lunch. It was raining outside, so we didn't spend a lot of time searching for a lunch spot. The bus dropped us right outside of the Farm Fire, so we checked it out. It's inside/adjacent to the Elm + Avenue Hotel. Lot of big windows and a spacious dining area. We put our name on a list, but only had to wait 15 minutes. It was late morning and the dining room was already full. We had a group of 4. Got settled in right away with waters, and menus. After putting in for our beverages we were able to order right away. Our service was a friendly young man, and did a very nice job of taking care of us. I ordered the avocado toast with poached eggs and some braised bison. My partner got the burger. We also ordered a side of the roasted chicken. For being so busy, it didn't take that long to get our food. Everything was hot, and good portions. My avocado toast was just okay. I expected the bison meat to be more flavorful. The roasted chicken was amazingly good, and very moist. The smashburger was also a hit. Nice place for a lunch. Could be a bit noisy at times, but you could still have a reasonable conversation.

Farm & Fire serves brunch daily, which was perfect for us on vacation. When we arrived, we were seated right away at a table that could accommodate our stroller. They had a good list of cocktails and mocktails and I really enjoyed the mocktail I ordered. I also liked the strawberry French toast I had. The vibes are cool and modern with a semi open kitchen and signs showing the farms where they source their food.

Came for dinner; good amount of food! Recommend calling ahead in case reservations are needed. We came on a weekday night at 8p and was able to be seated. Pizza was good. Trout good too! Server recommended we share the entree with two sides but we did want pizza. We got brussel sprouts for a side but seemed a little undercooked.

Attached to a hotel, this is a bustling restaurant for a weekday dinner during shoulder season. They have a rotisserie and pizza oven with a variety of items on their menu. The bread with butter was a good starter for sharing. The summer squash pizza was flavorful with a thin crust. The vegetable Wellington was underwhelming as a vegetarian option, and we found it had a one note flavor. The rest of the party enjoyed the rotisserie chicken, saying it was not dry and seasoned well. The side of mashed potatoes was the highlight of the meal. Great ambiance and friendly service too.

Soup Sandwiches to the rescue!!…read more After a day of hiking and exploring in the Mountains, we were tired, sore, and hangry. Noshing throughout the day we were set on a good soup and sandwich combo. We checked multiple locations and either it was high-end foo foo or just more than we want or just worse. It was pub grub and they had one soup and they weren't sure what it was. We found Wild Flour. They offer multiple soups and sandwiches and a few treats. Kathy selected a carrot fennel bowl (massive) and served with fresh bread and butter, I had a meat and cheese grilled cheese on a focaccia bread, Of course we "shar-zies" and the comfort was enjoyed. The team at 630pm was helpful and prompt guided us as we had not eaten at Wild Flour. Good food, reasonably priced for Banff is a find. Go to Wild Flour and enjoy... we did.

Really nice little cafe with excellent pastries…read more I had the almond croissant. Crispy with tons of almonds and a decent almond flavour. The almond paste is to die for - clearly amongst the best. Sweet and rich but not too sweet. Clearly they bake it themselves and it's very substantial. I tried the apple pie cinnamon oat tea latte. Yes the name is a mouthful. It is an amazing drink. Wonderful taste! Good place to stop by and hang out in the morning. Not crowded and people are just hanging out on their laptops etc.

We then shared a Waldorf salad, which was refreshing and nice. Then we both selected red wine varietals grown in Canada. I had a Cabernet/Merlot blend which was super great. Would've never guessed it was from Canada. Next, My wife enjoyed a Pinot Noir that was light and complimented our entrée perfectly. Our entrée was the fillet and prawns served over a garlic mashed potato. This is an absolutely extraordinary dish. We shared it and it was just enough for two people. It is a full meal for one person. The filet temperature preparation was perfect. The prawns were extraordinary, and the garlic mashed potato made you curl your toes! Then we closed the evening with the melted chocolate soufflé, which was divine. Here's the one thing that they missed and to me it's an important miss. They use an automated system for taking reservations. And it kept asking for my name to which I said "Chris" and the automated system kept asking me what's your name!? So it asked hey fourth time and in my frustration I got playful and I said "Big Daddy." And it happily received my name and took my reservation. And then asked if there was any special occasion and I said yes my wife and I are celebrating our anniversary. I get that it may not seem normal to say "Big Daddy party for two". So I'll kind of let that pass because neither front door or upstairs Host was willing to ask. But what I don't like that was missed was our anniversary wasn't acknowledged. I was a server for years, and every host gave the server some type of chit or note to let them know if there is a special occasion. We specifically selected a higher end restaurant for anniversary. So somewhere in there, even if you weren't brave enough to say "Big Daddy for two." Someone still should've checked if you were celebrating any special occasion to which we were. Our anniversary. Our server was fabulous. She was super kind helpful and shared about her experience being in Banff. She made us feel great. My overall experience, the Mapleleaf is a great restaurant. But I'm scoring you an A- because you missed our anniversary. and that's why we chose you. So if you're going to use AI, you can't miss special occasions. Chris & Trisha from Long Beach, CA
