Even though there was only one other table, the food took a little while to come out--but the pizza was absolutely worth the wait! The crust was perfectly crispy and the flavor was incredible, even the next day. I'm usually not a fan of wings--most places have good sauce but the meat itself is bland. These wings were different! The flavor went all the way through, and I honestly don't think I've ever eaten this many wings in my life. Definitely recommend trying them if you come here! We got the pizza of the month - Beetza - cool flavors, but I wasn't a fan of the goat cheese. Buddha Gouda pizza - great flavors but very mild for my liking. Pizza itself was very fresh but quite greasy. Crust was really tasty in my opinion, not too hard so you can even eat the crust. Wings we ordered Red Rock Chili Lime and Lemon Herb but pretty sure we got Red Rock Chili Lime and Lemon Herb dry ribs (boneless bites). Red Rock Chili Lime wings flavor was not to my liking - personal preferences as everyone else said they were fine. Wings themselves were not a crispy as I would have liked. Bone-less bites were tasty and I would get again. Pop was in larger 500mls plastic bottle which was a good surprise. We got diet Pepsi, iced tea and ginger ale. My family stopped in here after a long day of hiking at Moraine Lake and Lake Louise on the recommendation of a local. We were famished and tired. We ordered four pizzas and a baked macaroni to go and were told it would be about 30 minutes. There was no indoor seating but the four legal of us grabbed cans of local beer, cider and Wild Life Distillery cocktails and relaxed at a picnic table on the deck while we waited. The pizza was with the wait. I ordered a gluten free Medi -- delicious. Younger son loved his one topping piled with chicken and older son said the macaroni was fantastic. I was jealous of daughter's margherita pizza -- it looked amazing. I'm sure our long day made it taste even better but I highly recommend Red Rock for pick up pizza in the area. read more

Some people say this is the best pizza in Canmore which is shocking. I've had it a few times wanting to like it, but I'm always disappointed. Maybe I just have high standards. I also found the staff unaccommodating and rude the last time. I ordered a pizza that did not say barbecue sauce on the menu and when I complained because I could not eat it they were like too bad. My friends and I randomly decided to stop by Red Rock Pizza on the way from Banff back to our airbnb and I'm so glad we did! We ordered their signature pizzas and requested to have it cut in 16ths so we could all have a try of the pizzas. For 13 people, we couldn't finish the 4 pizzas, so keep that in mind when ordering for your group! It's a small sit down place with counter service and delivery. There were about 4-5 small tables to sit and enjoy your food if you decide to dine in, but we choose to carry out to eat back at our airbnb. It was pretty fast considering we ordered 4 large pizzas. We ordered their True North, D-lux, Fun Guy, and Dewey. Out of the four, I have to recommend their FUN GUY. That truffle oil was so incredibly tasty and there was so much fresh parmesan and mozzarella cheese. Who doesn't love garlic and rosemary? The other pizzas were also standouts. Out of all the spots we ate in Alberta this has to be my top 3. We came here twice and each of us (4) got something different each time so we were able to taste a little bit of everything. Honestly everything tasted so delicious that my last bite was followed by 2 more. If I had to choose my top 2, they would be the wicked chicken and the basil tomato pasta. What made the wicked chicken pizza my favorite was the extra pineapple I had on the side. For the longest I was one of those people that believed that pineapple didn't belong in pizza, but this place made me a believer. Along with the delicious food, this place is very cute, cozy, and intimate. A nice perk is being able to see the process of the cooks making your food. Amazing pizza if you prefer more dough/crust compared to a thinner pizza. Love their pizzas of the month, I've gotten the last 5 and they are absolutely worth it every time. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because they don't seem to encourage return customers. They have a number you can text to place an order and every time they ask for my name. I've ordered here many times as I'm sure many of other customers have and you would think they would have some kind of promotion in place for return customers, since it is a tourist town this would keep the locals coming in while also avoiding tourist inpersonating locals. After reading the consistently good reviews on Yelp my family and I stopped in last night for dinner. We were not disappointed. My son had the Mac and cheese which he loved and quickly devoured. My wife and I split the date night special which included two small( if 8 slices each is considered small) pizzas and a giant green salad that was designed for 4 not 2 people. The salad and the dressing was tasty and the two pizzas, the true north and 4 meat, delicious. This meal for two was really designed for 4 and we ended up taking the leftovers home for dinner the next night. Overall a great deal for your money and a very good meal. read more

After a long day of hiking in Banff N.P. Red Rock Pizza was exactly the type of comfort food we needed at the end of the day. When it comes to pizza in general, there is the thin crust, quality-ingredients specialty pizza on the east coast and then there are pan pizzas with thicker crusts, a lot more cheese/sauce, made to be as indulgent and satisfying as possible. Red Rock was definitely in the vein of the latter. We came here on back to back days even, which is an Asher Hashmi no-no, as we loved the pizza that much. While in the mountains for work, the husband and I just wanted a quiet night in without having to cab it into town. We passed Red Rock Pizza on the way to our inn & had to check it out. The "Wicked Chicken" immediately piqued our interests with it's toppings listed as Ranch, Spicy chicken, Pineapple, Bacon, Roasted red peppers, Cheddar, Mozzarella. We also ordered a small "Deluxe" ( Pepperoni, Ham, Mushrooms, Green peppers, Red onions, Black olives, Mozzarella, Pizza Sauce). The deluxe was standard, but OMG (trust me when I say I only break out this anagran in extreme circumstances) the wicked chicken was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Absolutely recommended. Next time we're through town, we've vowed to stop in and try the Mango Tango ( Mozzarella, Prosciutto, Mango, Sundried tomatoes, Chilli oil, Fresh herbs on a smokey marinara sauce). Seriously salivating at the thought of it. Apparently Red Rock only opened in 2015, and so far so good. It is evident the staff is passionate and invested in their company - everyone was so friendly. We used to love Red Rock, but we have stopped ordering from them after seeing them so blatantly ignore the public safety measures put in place to protect us all. When I picked up an order the other day, 4 of the staff working there were not wearing masks at all. One staff member had his around his neck but not covering his nose or mouth. They are actively preparing our food without wearing masks and even the person working the cash register and interacting with customers wasn't wearing a mask. That is simply saying that our safety is not important enough for Red Rock staff (and management) to do their part and stick to the rules. Especially at a time when Covid is really hurting a lot of people in the Bow Valley. Before posting this review, I sent a DM to Red Rock asking if there was any reason for this behaviour. The message was read, but they did not reply. You can see the message I sent below. I walked past the shop the next day, and yet again did not see a single employee wearing a mask. We are now looking elsewhere for a new pizza joint, and encouraging others to do so as well. read more

They were tiny but crispy and delicious. 4.5/5 pizza: for a party of 3, we got a medium pizza, half mango something (forgot the real name) and half true north. True north just tasted like pepperoni to me. The mango one was pretty different but still good! If you don't like pineapple on your pizza you probably won't like this, but I do so I thought it was good. The crust was super crispy, which was one of the best features of the pizza in my opinion. 5/5 service: friendly and prompt! 5/5 atmosphere: the weather was beautiful so we sat outside. The mountain views are great.
