Brigette Bar is such a fun spot with excellent drinks and food--perfect for a date night or hanging out with friends. The trout was cooked perfectly and absolutely amazing, the burrata was tasty, and the garlic bread had a unique twist. Highly recommend visiting if you're in Canmore!

We ordered entrees instead of small plates and the food was excellent, with multiple flavor notes. My boyfriend got the banana crème pie and it was one of the best he's had. Overall, Nearly everything was perfect / good service, great ambience, thoughtful creative dishes.

Parking is tricky, there is construction in much of the area and street parking is very limited. There is a free parkcade nearby, so definitely look that up before going. The service is inexcusably slow. Our 11:45am reservation (we were the only people in the entire restaurant for quite some time) ended up waiting almost 2 hours to get our food, with no reassurance from our server that it was coming out soon. When I walked past the open kitchen I saw several employees doing prep work/cutting vegetables. This seriously needs to be addressed. For this reason alone, I would not return, and is the reason for the low rating. The drinks and food were good, I highly recommend the mushroom pizza. The atmosphere is pleasant, and there is a lot of natural light in the space, so sunglasses may be necessary if you're by the windows.

My birthday card signed by the staff and placed on the table upon seated

We came here last night for my birthday dinner. Our evening began with a beautiful surprise and delight from seeing a birthday card signed by the staff when being brought to the table. This simple little gesture set the tone for our entire dining experience. Our waiter Jacob was super attentive and was always in top of our orders despite a busy Friday night at the restaurant. We also made his life easier by knowing what we wanted by reading through the drink, food and dessert menus online beforehand. We have always read the menus ahead of time if we knew where we were going. Every single one of our drinks and food orders was unforgettably delicious last night. My husband had the Canmore Brewing Highline Largered Blonde and I opted for the Alpenglow Sour cocktail with rye whiskey. Both were light but stimulating for our taste buds to accommodate what was to come. Our eggplant fries were super crispy on the outside. The eggplant inside was warm and soft but not mushy at all. The spices of the coating was just right and not over powering. The yogurt dip helped bring all the flavours together. Our shared 24 oz T-bone steak and green beans came together. The steak was grilled perfectly medium rare. It has a good amount of fat and the meat was very tender as well. It was flavourful enough that my husband didn't even use the peppercorn sauce served on the side. The green beans were served chilled and its crispiness was actually perfectly paired with the steak. Our dinner was capped off with a huge banana pie with similar ingredients to a banoffee pie. It came with a sparkler, of course, for my birthday. The restaurant is deep in a quiet residential neighbourhood about a 20-minutes pleasant walk along the river from downtown. While the outside of the building is unassuming, the decor was modern, inviting and plush all at the same time.

Bridgette Bar in Canmore offers a cozy ambiance paired with a creative, flavor-forward menu--a perfect night out in the Rockies. Street parking is limited in this newly developed area of Canmore, and potential residential construction is still ongoing in certain sections. I recommend making an early reservation through the OpenTable app or contacting the restaurant directly. Upon entering, the hostess stand is positioned directly ahead. The dining area is expansive, extending toward the back left of the establishment. To the immediate left of the hostess stand is the main bar, which features a centrally located fireplace. I found the interior décor to be elegant, complemented by soft, ambient lighting. An outdoor patio is also available; however, it was not in use due to inclement weather. According to a previous review on Yelp, the patio may be reserved exclusively for patrons accompanied by pets. FOOD: 1. Eggplant Fries (3/5): There are 6 pieces, finished with a crispy bite. Still, the accompanying green harissa yogurt sauce gave it a flavorful lift. It was OK. 2. Garlic Bread (4/5): Surprisingly memorable for a cheese curd. Rich and buttery in the best way. It's elevated comfort food done right. 3. Wood Grilled Carrots (5/5): Sweet and perfectly tender. I loved the crunch from the cooked chickpeas. The seasoning and char brought these humble roots to life. Don't skip this! 4. Spiced Beet Salad (4/5): Fresh and well-balanced, with a hint of sweetness and spice. Great textures and plating. 5. Fennel Salami Pizza (4/5): It is a thin crust with a nice chew, and the fennel salami added a bold, slightly spicy note. It was satisfying with a great mix of onions, chili, and caramelized honey. I would order this again. 6. Grilled Lamb Saddle (4/5): There were 6 pieces of lamb, which were juicy. It comes with potato salad, greens, labneh, and mint. 7. Maple BBQ Rainbow Trout (5/5): Hands down the best of the night! The fish was flavorful, and the maple BBQ glaze struck a perfect balance between sweet and smoky. I would order this again. 8. Banana Pie (3/5): A decent finish--nostalgic and creamy, though a bit one-note. It could have used a textural element in it. The service was just OK. We found ourselves looking for the server a few times for extra water, and then when we wanted to order more. Would I come back? Yes! Happy Hour: Daily 2-5 PM with 50% off all drinks and pizza Late Night: Daily 10-11 PM with certain apps and pizzas (no discount)

Visiting (escaping) from the US for Valentine's weekend. My gf and I travel frequently and food is always one of our favorite parts. This was one of the best meals we've ever had! The Brussels, dumplings and strip steak were cooked to perfection. We sat by the kitchen and saw the chefs hard at work. Their attention to detail was amazing. 10/10 would recommend

Came here for happy hour which was a great deal - 50% off drinks and pizzas. We got the fennel salami and mushroom pizzas and both were so good. It came out really fast too! Would definitely go back here

Great food more interesting than the average beer brewery places in town. Really good Manhattan cocktail, sparkling water as a table water option which I love! Overall great vibe and friendly service

Side one... Of the banana pie....that meringue was amazing!

What a lovely and lively dinner! This place in a Sunday night was hopping! Fun vibes! Great service! Tasty eats! They have a really nice wine, beer and cocktail list. Lots to choose from. We started with the elk carpaccio and the cauliflower. Both are excellent. The elk carpaccio is tender and you can actually taste the elk....they don't try to hide it in sauce and toppings. While the cheese looks like it overpowers the dish... It doesn't. The cauliflower is an appetizer but can be a side veg if you are looking for a veg to share for the table. Cauliflower was perfectly roasted. I had the octopus salad as my main because I wasn't super hungry, and it was perfect for me. The octopus was nice and meaty...and the fennel was light and crisp. The vinaigrette was a little too much for me... I could have done with a lighter touch of it. But still quite tasty! The banana pie was Fantastic! It is pretty big and sweet...so keep that in mind when you order it. The table next to us ordered it and we were commenting how amazing it looked so they gave us a slice of it which was still too much for me. Haha! Overall.... I'm pretty sure we'll be back if we have time while visiting the area.

While waiting for our room to be ready we decided to go here for a quick bite. They had happy hour 1/2 price pizza and a drink special. It was quite busy. We were sat at the chefs table, furthermost spot in the place. We did wait quite a while before being acknowledged. We ordered a pizza to share. It was the 4 cheese. It was good. We sat right by were some food prep was being done. It was interesting to watch.

This is the best restaurant in Canmore. We came in for late lunch on a Friday and got the last 4 seats at the bar. (I recommend making a reservation no matter what time you come in). We received recommendations from the staff on their favorites and based on that we ordered the elk carpaccio, the burrata, the potato and ricotta pasta, and the cucumber salad. Oh man our favorites were the cucumber salad and the burrata. Honestly you can't go wrong. Everything is made fresh right in front of you and tastes amazing. The service is phenomenal.

Celebrated my wife's birthday here and was very impressed with both the service and food-overall a great dining experience! Had a reservation and were immediately brought back to a table with a hand-signed birthday card from the staff to my wife which was extremely thoughtful. The place itself is buzzing, but not loud and very well kept/relaxing. Drinks were fantastic! We had the Alpenglow Sour and Snowbird, both of which we'd order again. Service was prompt and polite with nice check-ins throughout. The food was prepared perfectly, and I believe I had maybe the best appetizer of my entire life. See below: 1. Appetizer (Small Plate on this menu): Burrata Cheese - wow is all I can say. This flavorful cheese was served over a sauce of pepper jelly and chilis with a side of char-grilled bread that was still warm. Spread the bread and enjoy, it was wonderful. 2. Entree (Large plate on this menu): Maple BBQ Rainbow Trout - perfectly cooked trout with a maple coating and served over a super flavorful sauce. The kale and potato puree were seasoned nicely and paired well with the trout. I heard the guy at the table next to us say he orders this every time, and I understand why. 3. Pasta: Shrimp & Calamari- nicely cooked pasta as well as the seafood (especially nice that the calamari was prepared well and not too chewy). The sauce was creamy with a nice bite that cut the richness, wish we ordered bread to soak more of it up. Overall, a wonderful birthday experience and will definitely have this place on our list for when we return to Canmore.

Went during happy hour which is half off pizza and cocktails! Was seated outside and the weather was spectacular! Our waiter was very attentive but also not breathing down our neck! Love and would go back!

Located inside Georgetown Inn, this pub had a "Miners' Pub" sign, but what's in a name? Even the poutine was a large plateful. Every dish was comforting to the max. The outdoor tables were lovely and the service was also lovely. This was a great place to relax after a long day of hiking.

Our server Petra was very nice and accomodating, answering all our questions, and opened the windows near our table for a nice breeze. The service was great! Our beer and food came out quickly. We both ordered draft beer: Fernies hazy IPA and Grizzly Paw Raspberry Ale, where we liked both. I ordered the Shepherd's Pie and it was "ok" in my opinion. I did not notice a blend of hard cheeses, rather a butter flavor and the ground meat was meh. The flavor overall wasn't horrible but wouldn't seek it out. My salad that came with it had brown edges and looked old, the avocado dressing was tasty though. My guy had the fish and chips, which was good however we might be spoiled since we live on the coast and our fish and chips spot back home is way better. In general we would not go out of our way to eat at this place, but could be because most of the food is heavy and in general not our style. Eventhough I love a great Shepherd's pie! The fact they are located in the hotel is convenient and worth a try.
