Cheese squash ravioli
Michael C.

We went to Graze as our first meal on vacation to Canada. It was very good and definitely set the tone for how good the food is all over Banff area. We had the fish and chips which were amazing. They were very big pieces of cod and were cooked perfectly on chips that were delicious. The ravioli was also really yummy. The sauce was a little on the bitter side but worked well with the squash. Then I had the burger and it was outstanding! I loved every bite that I had of the burger and the poutine on the side was awesome and I was so excited to try it as it is one of Canada's famous dishes. The service was amazing and were so kind and welcoming to us. They helped us get to know the area a little bit better and recommended some other places to eat and have fun. The restaurant was very nice and clean and had a nice homie feel and was definitely taken care of. The restaurant has a big front window that allows light to come in and lets you see the gorgeous mountain surrounding the town. I would recommend graze to all who are looking for a great meal while in this area.

Blueberry Mojito (non-alcoholic)
Nichole C.

This was recommended to us by our hotel and we decided to walk over and check it out since we didn't really have an agenda! It was overall a good treat and we enjoyed this experience with a good variety! In our party, we ended up getting 3 appetizers and 3 main dishes and we felt like it was enough food to share among us. They have a good selection of drinks as well and the ambience was modern. We did come on a rainy day so it wasn't super busy but it still filled up! Overall it's a good choice if you're in the area and looking for fusion food.

Wild mushroom ravioli with Jalepeno cream sauce
Sheila Z.

Last night in Canmore and chose here for our headed back home dinner. For apps we had the pierogies and the salsa/guacamole plate. Both were ok but lacked a depth of flavor. For our meals, we had the wild mushroom ravioli with jalepeno cream sauce and the salmon tacos...oh my!!! These were both AMAZING and so full of flavor! Let bed the atmosphere- casual and cozy while patrons were having fun talking to each other about the play offs. We had the perfect table- front window so we could people watch!!!

Buddha bowl

The burger: The poutine was great. The cheese wasn't evenly distributed if you care about that but otherwise it was tasty and done decently. The elk burger was okay. They cooked it well done and didn't ask how we would like it cooked. The Buddha bowl: Omg this bowl was so bad it made me lose faith in Banff food in general. First of all, there was way too much rice and not enough veggies. The tofu was actually okay for a non-asian restaurant. The veggies felt like frozen veggies that got heated up. Overall this dish felt like something I would have made in college when I was just learning to cook. Would not recommend.

"Game changer" burger with poutine side
Iris F.

Food is solid but pricey as expected for a touristy area. We got the "Game changer" burger and upgraded the side of fries for poutine for $4.50 extra. It was filling but the brisket wasn't that tender and I felt like it didn't really work well in the burger. Also wished there was more baked brie in it (btw it was just the brie, no puff pastry). Service was great though!

Dropped in to try something new. The breakfast burrito-Three scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage or ham, avocado, cheese, salsa and sour cream. Again the waitresses here are so delightful to interact with as well as the very pleasant hostess. Very pleasant and helpful. If you ever come to Canmore be sure to dine here. I have never been disappointed. Decided to sit at their outdoor patio out front on the pedestrian only street. I so enjoy no vehicular traffic. Being an avid walker and shared transportation this is my kind of dining atmosphere. The only thing that could enhance the experience is dining under the stars surrounded by a pristine, natural environment. The restaurant has so much character you immediately are taken in by it's relaxed an eclectic atmosphere. It is always clean and inviting. Oh yum the burrito has arrived!!!

Awesome view

Outdoor patio in downtown area is a plus. Graze offers full bar and local brewery. I ended up ordering just a root beer which happened to be the best root beer I've ever had. The service was friendly and very laid back. The laid back vibes was very good no pressure to hurry to eat and leave. The patio was awesome for people watching and also socializing with others on patio.

Beef massaman. Unremarkable, but the beef was nicely seasoned

My salad has unripe avocado and roasted potatoes that were not fully cooked. Would not recommend.

We ordered the Old School burger and it was too dense. Truffle fries were too greasy and limp. The waitress was real nice.

The menu is creative, and the chef uses local and wild ingredients in both the food and drinks. Everything is beautifully plated and you can tell they pay attention to details. Service was attentive and professional, although quite slow. To be fair, they were very busy and could have used extra staff. We had a wonderful time!

My boyfriend and I came to Sauvage Canmore for our anniversary and ordered the prefix menu. I have…read morea dairy allergy, so I asked for accommodations for the bread and dessert. The other courses, including the fish and bison with mushrooms, did not have dairy. Sadly, while the food was aesthetic, I have had much better dairy-free food in both Canada and the States. The bison was the only dish that tasted tender and savory to me. The fish did not taste as fresh to me, and the vegan bread was quite inedible, shaped like a rounded brick and tasting like one too. When I asked if there were any other dairy-free bread options, they said no. I hoped the dairy-free dessert would be something unique, but it was another vegan bread brick with jam and a dairy-free ice cream that tasted like freezer ice and sadness. My boyfriend also found his dessert bland. The waiter said there were no other dairy-free dessert options and recommended a drink, which was solid. The two stars are for the cozy, romantic vibes, the lovely Canadian Rockies view, the tender bison, the good drink, and the kind servers. All in all, I sadly would not come back, as only one course and a drink we liked for the price of the prefix was not worth it, especially for our anniversary.

He and the excellent Chicago hot wings make Fergus & Bix worth more than one late night Happy Hour visit. The wings are marinaded, fried, dipped then baked - perfect. I'm a little beer snobby, but my spouse says the in-house Wooden Ship beers are good. Great place to watch sports too. Lots of TVs but not too intrusive if you're not interested. Ambiance is warm and relaxed. Happy Hour offers some nice choices, and is twice per day every day as is the norm in this tourist town. Definitely recommended for folks who want a pleasant adult atmosphere. You also avoid excessively intoxicated and rowdy revellers. They're over at the corner of Rose & Crown and Drake.

Upon arrival, we were provided with a liquor menu but not a full food menu, and were directed to order from the happy hour menu. This created a bit of confusion at first, but we made the best of it. We ordered the Beer Board, which included a selection of sausages, Italian meats, cheeses, and pretzel bread. It was well put together, with good variety and satisfying portions--great for a late-night bite. Overall, while the experience wasn't exceptional, it was a decent stop considering the circumstances. It served its purpose and provided a solid option when not much else was available. That said, the bar itself is pretty decent. Carries some ambiance --perhaps a place you'd hang out for a few drinks.
