Nice little spot with a good amount of pizza options. The poutine was top of the line. The staff was very friendly.

We wanted a more low-key dinner after 4 days of being on the go. Found this hidden place just a couple blocks up and we weren't disappointed. Quick pizza, piping hot, and very tasty. Would definitely go back and try another if we were in town longer.

Yummy yummy! On our way home from downtown Banff, we passed this place as it was 5 minutes from our hotel. It was empty on Boxing Day so no wait to be seated. Restaurant is located inside the Banff Inn. They have free wifi which is always a win when traveling. The pizzeria has a sports bar vibe, but only has 2 tvs, lots of seating at the bar and some tables for dining. We went for a half cheese, half pepperoni 12 inch pizza. It took about 15 minutes to make the pizza, but we weren't famished so it wasn't a problem. The pizza had a crisp crust and lots of cheesy goodness. Good amount of cheese and sauce. The pepperoni was under the cheese which was different, but my husband enjoyed his side. They have a ton of pizza options, including gluten free crust and poutine. I wouldn't mind returning here if I'm craving pizza!

Decent food, nothing out of the ordinary. They were really understaffed, so there was a bit of a wait but the service was good! Poutine with smoked meat - 5.5/10 The cheese curd wasn't hot Pizza - 6/10 I didn't like that the toppings were under the cheese but some people might Chocolate cake - 5/10 Kinda stale but understandable cuz this is a pizza place

Hidden spot. Carlitos is a unique pizzeria. They offer delivery as well as sit down. We ordered two medium pizzas to share. While delicious the pizzas were not really different from each other. The prices are decent but the size of the pizza doesn't really match the quality and the size. Carlitos is a must if looking for quick pizza for before or after a drinking night.

We had the poutine with extra cheese. Don't let the picture fool you by its apparent brown squishiness. The cheese curds were great! Squeaky and just the right amount of chewy, made softer by the hot gravy. The gravy was seasoned well and the fries were nice and hot. It was a good experience all around!

Everything tasted like leftovers that were warmed up. Wings were rubbery and cheese on pizza congealed.

This place was one of the key takeaways for food on our Banff trip! Order the Seafood Linguine and…read moreCaesar Salad with a Espresso Martini for a drink. You are very welcome! We came here on a whim to find a nice place to eat as we were on our way to Lake Louise. We walked around town to find a place to eat and my wife loves Italian, so we tried to walk in at about 6pm. Luckily for us, there was an open seat (reservation are highly recommended.. it was packed). We were greeted by the waiter who gave us the choice of sparkling or still water. Fancy schmancy. We got the still house water. The place was packed, full, and a bit loud, but also romantic given the atmosphere and the views. Good place to take a date, but not a good place if you wanted a private booth/moment. I ordered the seafood linguine, and my wife ordered the spicy rigatoni alla vodka. We also ordered the little gem caesar to share, and she also go the coffee martini for her drink. I got soda. The caesar came out and it was one of the best caesars I had. It was presented by having two baby heads of romaine lettuce covered with caesar dressing. Very tasty and creamy. Very very good! Next time, I am going to order one for just myself! Only eating one baby romaine head left me wanting more! After the salad, the pastas came out and the seafood linguine was remarkable! Presented as a bundle of linguini with seafood on the sides, all covered in white wine/clam sauce. One of THE BEST seafood linguines I have ever tried! My wife's spicy rigatoni was spicy and had a kick (I am Thai so take that for what it's worth). My wife thought it was a bit too spicy for her, but overall the dish was meh. Reminds me of the pasta alla vodka at Cheesecake Factory, but without the sausage. I do believe if there was an option to add sausage, the dish would've been 100x better. The dish just got bland the more you ate it. And because of this, I ended up eating the rigatoni, and my wife ate the linguini lol. Just kidding.. kinda. We shared our plates :) I highly recommend this place. The rigatoni was nothing special, but everything else was spectacular. We were even contemplating going back there on our drive home, but it opened at 4pm that day, and that was too late on our schedule to wait. Nevertheless, we'll be back again!

Below are the dishes we ordered: scallop crudo -- absolutely delicious! The scallops were so fresh and the sauce was so yummy. Loved the crispies on top (potato?). This was my favorite dish from our visit! winter squash pizza -- this sounded so unique so we had to try it! It was flavorful, and the star was definitely the crust!! The pizza crust is the best I've ever had; it was perfectly airy and light! rigatoni carbonara -- the rigatoni was a bit undercooked and the guanciale was overcooked. Overall, we did not enjoy this dish and would not recommend it. We were a bit disappointed about the pasta but enjoyed the other two dishes we ordered!

Thing is we arrived pretty late. Close to midnight. Me and my daughter walked to town, about 5-10 minutes away from our hotel. A few places were still open, which was nice. After checking out a few places, we decided to check out Aardvark. Location - It's in the town of Banff. It's right off of the main street. Walkable from a lot of the hotels in the area. Food - The food is good. It was freshly made. We got one pepperoni, one cheese, and poutine. The pizza had enough grease, but it's not greasy. The dough was cooked properly. It was crispy outside and chewey inside. The flavor on the pizza and poutine was good. I did not get food poisoning. Service/Staff - Good service. Orders were taken promptly and food came out on a timely manner. Staff were friendly. Vibe - The place had a fun and bright vibe. Pizza by the slice was on display. There's not really a place to sit. It's pretty much a "come in and grab" type of place. It was cool. People were still coming in to buy slices. Would I go back? Yes, I would. It's specially nice that they are open super late. I hope they stay the same.

Seeing several restaurants open on Google Maps, I walked to each one, down the line. They were all closed. I didn't eat since breakfast that day and with the local grocery store closed too, I thought I was going to pass out. The hostess from Canadian Brew House down the street mentioned my choices were Aardvark, Domino's, and Subway. No offense to Subway or Domino's but when I travel, I don't eat at chain restaurants. I'm so glad Aardvark was open! I ordered a 9" Aardvark pizza (pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, tomatoes, onions, and black olives. They made it fresh to order and I got it within 10 minutes. It definitely hit the spot!
