12" pies with their special focaccia

Their Health freak sandwich is the best!!!! Caprese came to a second, it felt a bit dry as compared to health freak! Love their home made focaccia bread which is what they use for all sandwiches!! It's soft but packed with flavor from herbs! Very fresh! We took some sandwiches for our beehive hike the next day.

Bella Crusta is a stop I make almost every time i visit Canmore. Bella Crusta has these heavenly pizzas that are made on delicious, thin focaccia bread that have a gourmet look, taste and feel. My favorite is a spicy chicken and mango pizza. mmmm. They also have a few varieties of vegetarian pizzas, as well as different types of meats. The last time I was in Bella Crusta, they were a cash only business. If you are looking for a healthy, homemade, gourmet pizza, I highly recommend checking out Bella Crusta!

A must stop in Canmore, this place has the best focaccia I've ever had outside Italy. I can't wait to go back and try the pizza!

She also used her bare hands to slide off whole pizza from right to left inside takeout box. She wiped her hands on a clean napkin that she grabbed from the bar. Then she walked in the back. 2) Another male Caucasian employee brought out our pizzas. We immediately noticed that three of Carnivora pizza crust edges were burnt. I asked my husband if he would like to return the burnt pizza. He declined, extremely hungry from hiking and chose not to return it. Unburnt pizzas of Carnivora and pepperoni tasted ok. Not a first great impression. 3) A different Caucasian male employee used his bare hands to layer various toppings on a pizza that had to be placed in the oven. He wiped his hands on his black shirt. He walked in the back, came back out holding a package, opened it, stuck his right hand in it to remove and add some greens onto another pizza that had to go in the oven. Thankfully, not our order. Customer service was ok. Our server asked us if we need cutlery and how is our pizzas tasting. Wasn't busy.

The texture was so soft, and the salmon was seasoned very nicely. Their beers on tap were also pretty good and they had a decent selection to choose from. I pulled up my email and showed them and they said "we'll get you seated asap". It was then they tried to put us at a table near the elevator/host stand. We politely asked for a window seat instead, which we were given. The views are not like in the photos. They have tint on the windows so you can't see the mountains if the sun is shining in. I'll post a photo of what it really looks like below. Anyway, we had to wait 15 minutes for our very sweet server to take our order... and then about 40 minutes for a kids cheese pizza, a pepperoni pizza and a salad. My salad was god awful. Overdressed with soggy, mealy watermelon and bruised strawberries. The pizzas weren't much better, too much crust and too much grease. Getting drinks refilled took forever because they were slammed. I would not recommend.

We started with two small plates and a vegetable: Salmon Crudo, Pickled Marinated Fried Chicken and the Cabbage. Wow. Wow. Wow. We decided to eat each one entirely before moving to the next one. Each one had such unique flavors, we wanted to focus on them and enjoy without confusing our taste buds. I highly recommend doing this! Then we ordered the Lamb dish. Our menu said it was going to be a curry dish, but when it arrived it was a Mediterranean dish. It was honestly dreamy! But we were confused because I guess we had a copy of the old menu. Nonetheless, I basically licked the plate! Lastly we ordered the chocolate salted caramel budino (pudding) for dessert. It was so luscious and went perfectly with our end of dinner hot drinks of tea and cappuccino. The serviced matched the food: also fantastic. Super professional and friendly waitress (I forgot to ask her name) she was so personal and we enjoyed talking to her. They comp'd our lamb because of the menu mixup which was so nice! If you're a foodie who enjoys good service, definitely try this place!

We were afraid we may not get in so late, but when we walked through the front door the place was packed! The restaurant has a modern look with nice spaced tables, unique sections and large glass window walls on 3 sides. We waited about 15mins to be seated. Their menu is perfect sized...about 5-7 selections per section: snacks, small plates, large plates, pizzas and pasta. We started with their bread and butter - the smoked tallow and charred onion butter was amazing. I ordered the shrimp and crab pasta which came on linguini and had chili oil and butter. It was good, but the highlight of the night came in the dessert - banana pie. I was skeptical at first but it was the best pie I've ever had! We had excellent service all night. We had 2 servers taking care of us and both were attentive and excellent. Our bar drinks came within a minute or two of ordering each time. I highly recommend this place to anyone stopping in Canmore!

Also when we went the air quality outside from smoke was horrible, but they had all their doors open and were seating people outside (maybe people wanted this, but it was definitely a miss for the ambiance). Service: Good, no issues here. Food: Very basic flavors circa mid 2010s. Tuna Crudo - drowned in a sauce that tastes like campbells tomato soup. If you have a good quality tuna, you don't need to drown it in anything. Trout - Overcooked, mashed potatoes immersed in salt. No flavor other than salt. Steak - Slightly overcooked, wasn't given enough time to rest, so the juices all came out Wine selection: Good
