Called to place an order for PU and the Customer service was just awful, Jeniffer was so rude. asked what the hot link zombie consisted of and she had a nasty attitude, immediately asked to just cancel my order and she hung up. So. Damn. Good. I have ordered large 60+ zombie orders for my business multiple times and they allowed me to come in before they open to pick them up at 445 am. They charged me 19$ for 3 pizza zombies tasted like crap prices are way to high for them hot links weren't even warm!!! Overall prices are way to high for what you want ! Tried the ham & cheese zombie at their booth at Foodie Land in San Mateo and it was absolutely delicious so I drove an hour to their actual store for them to be closed at 3:15 when it says they are open until 6. Maybe I should have called first but I am so disappointed that their hours are incorrect on yelp and apple maps. read more

Rob's Zombies is a great place to come and have some delicious comfort food. Growing up in the Mt. Diablo school district The Cheese Zombie was a mainstay at the Cafeteria Window. Here at Rob's Zombies they have other flavors than just cheese. They also have a full Coffee selection and protein smoothies. They serve The Bula Fijian meat pies which are also an incredible delicious treat. For those who would like a Cold Beer I believe they have 9 different beers on tap featuring Epidemic Ale. I have had Robs Zombies before he opened his spot always loved them and he is a cool cat. Went to the restaurant for the first time on Sunday. It was clean the two young ladies that were working were pleasant. I got two breakfast zombies one for my buddy and me and we absolutely loved them. Oh My Goodness!! I ate Cheese Zombies growing up in Denver, where we called them Cheesey Zombies, and on my way to Lowes when i saw the sign. I thought i was hallucinating. My 24 year old son was with me and i wis i had a picture of his face when he took his first bite!!! So.Much.Cheese!!!!! The dough is soft, shiny white bread, as it should be, like someones grandma's prize winning dinner rolls. Not sweet, but not sour. The perfect, slightly excessive quantity of orange government style cheese ,( if you are genX you know what i mean) not velvetta, but a meltable, flavorful American type cheese. I only had a drip coffee, but it was good.they had lattes and all the fancy coffees that i dont drink. They had other flavors of zombie, like ham n cheese, but im a purist. Also had some good looking stews and curries, Island style, that I cant wait to try.If you are making a Lowes run, or commute via Hwy 4, make a quick stop! I will be! Was excited to try this place since I grew up with cheese zombies all through high school and wanted to have my kiddos try it. Since we weren't feeling well, we decided to place a pick up order via DoorDash. Everything seemed to be good, until hubby went to get the order and realized that our order was changed. I guess some items were out of stock and so they were substituted with something else. Really wished we knew that so we could've adjusted our order. But overall, zombies themselves weren't that bad. Great pit stop for some tasty zombies. Went here today in the morning for the first time to try their offerings. Ended up purchasing a Pizza, Cheese, Pastrami, and Hot Link. The Pizza sadly was like eating something from little caesars. Not horrible but id try something else. The Cheese was Great. Gooey Cheesy Perfection stuffed inside a pillowy bun, with essence of Velveeta Cheese dancing around your tastebuds. The Pastrami was decent, fresh pastrami, sadly overdone with mustard and cheese, wish i was able to get more of the pastrami flavor in every bite. Lastly the Hot Link, sadly not too extraordinary, just good. I definitely want to go back and try more of their offerings, saw a Jalapeño Popper Zombie on the list when i was there so hopefully that'll be there next time i swing by. As for Robs Zombies vs Pattys Original Cheese Zombies, its hard to pick a favorite. Its like comparing Cheesesteaks in Philly @ Geno's and Pat's, you have a relaxed shop with Patty's and a more eye catching shop with Rob's. Hopefully down the road i'll be able to find out which one i like more. But for now its pretty cool to have been able to try both read more
