I have gone to the ridge for 5 years. Their food is good, but they have seating that is behind a wall that takes the experience down from what is my favorite ambiance in the state to basically a cramped back corner with no view and no good ambiance. I am tired of the hosts constantly trying to put me in that cramped back corner where you are sandwiches between pizza boxes, storage boxes, and their back office computers. I have to constantly ask the hosts to not put me in that back corner. Today there was a 1 in diameter wolf spider that crawled next to our table on the floor. They need to get rid of that back table or quit trying to sit me there. read more

Because this is the only restaurant in close proximity to our home, we've frequented it fairly regularly. When it first opened, we really enjoyed several items on the menu, but as the restaurant has changed ownership and management, the menu has shrunk, the food has become more expensive and less consistent, and the service has worsened. Items are consistently missing from our orders, and several times the food has been inedible due to over or undercooking. On the positive side, the manager is very responsive to issues with the food/service, and the pizza is decent if you're really hungry. read more

This place is great. Beautiful views, terrific food, good drinks and great staff. I had the spaghetti Bolognese which was delicious and full of meat. The meatballs were perfectly sized and delicious. The dessert of the pan cooked cookie with ice cream was also very good with the cookie being just the right amount of chewiness. My fiancée had the fish and chips, the fish was perfectly fried and prepared and the fries were very good as well. Our group of 6 had no problem finding seats however I think that was partially due to good timing of our arrival as it got quite busy after we arrived. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we all agreed that we would be returning in the future. There was however one thing that kept them from getting a five star review. As a place that is supposed to be known for its wine selection having the entire red wine selection being sold out was very disappointing. Also one of the members in our group was not able to have the margarita she ordered because they were also out of triple sec. We will be going back however to try this place again so hopefully these issues will be addressed and if so I will update my review. read more

The atmosphere of this place is nice and our waitress was sweet, but the food and value leave a lot to be desired. The spaghetti was average at best and the meatball sandwich was so dry it was hard to get down. Not worth the prices. Then when I requested some extra sauce to help the sandwich become more tolerable, they wanted to charge me an extra $3. There are better options in town for dinner. read more

Don't tell anyone about this place because if they find out how fantastic the service, food and atmosphere is, we will all be on an hour long wait to get in!!! Sunday brunch was incredible!!! The ricotta pancakes melt in your mouth. Eggs perfectly cooked, bacon crispy and delicious, coffee so good you want your cup filled again and again! One of the best places we have had a meal in in the greater SLC area. The highlight on both back to back visits was our server. We were sorely disappointed in this place. It came highly recommended, but was not good at all. Twice we had hair in our bread basket. Then when my friends Caesar salad came out hot, the manager came over to tell her that that is what happens when you put chicken on it. He was very rude and spoke down to her. My friend responded by telling him that her lettuce was hot and wilted and her chicken was cold. Will never return. read more

Top notch! We have visited Ridge Cafe twice now, once before we moved and then today - move in day. We were lucky to have Javier as our waiter both times. He remembered us from the first time and was so kind and excited for us and our adventure. The first time we went, our food was so phenomenal, we couldn't decide which was better, my husbands meal or mine. This trip, we shared food. Again, we couldn't decide what was better. The food was good but the waffles and eggs were stone cold. The staff and management were rude and cold. A man who appeared to be a manager was especially rude and unfriendly. He definitely doesn't want to be in the restaurant business. The patio was swarming with bees and wasps. read more

We came in on a Sunday morning. There were 7 of us and the staff was so accommodating. They were friendly, got all of our food out at the same time and it was DELICIOUS. Favorites were the eggs benny, huevos rancheros, and salmon omelette. read more

The Ridge used to have my favorite eggs benedict. That along with their ridge potatoes was one of the best breakfast in Utah. But alas they have changed their menu. The Benedict was pretty lousy and the potatoes are super bland. I'm sad, I wish I knew where the chef went that made that spectacular breakfast. Great to have a market & cafe/restaurant in our backyard in Suncrest. The interior of this place is beautiful. I love the outdoor seating; even on a cool fall morning a cup of coffee outside was perfect. The menu is small but fits perfectly for what most people will need. I'm looking forward to trying the lunch/dinner menu. I came for breakfast and each item on the table was freshly prepared and tasted great. The freshly brewed Starbucks was a nice touch as well. The market itself is well stocked. Good selection of items with some fresh produce. Prices were convenience store like and reasonable but a few items were head scratchers like a pint of B&J's ice cream for $6.69. Can't wait to try the pizza and burgers! read more

This is my new favorite place in Draper. Amazing food, and great ambiance along with the best views hands-down. It's like a mini vacation getaway. A five minute drive and you're away from all of the normal chain and fast food restaurants that are boring and offer a rushed and mediocre experience. I ordered the chicken club, and it is the best food I've had all week. It is great for a nice date night, as well as a quick lunch get away. Also if you do drink, they are one of the few places in Draper with a full bar. read more

Just at the top of Suncrest, this restaurant feels like you're in a whole different part of Utah, instead of the top of Draper. The air smells like the mountains, fresh and clear, and it's a good ten degrees cooler than in the valley. If you can, choose an outside table. The Ridge is a casual restaurant; you order at the counter, pick a table, and the food is brought to you. The menu has a wide variety, ranging from traditional breakfast, to salads, burgers, sandwiches, wood fired pizzas. I ordered the Green chili burger- pickled red onions, fresh roasted green chili, cheese, delicious creamy sauce, on a soft, buttery brioche bun. It was juicy, mildly spicy, and delicious. The fries were crispy, well seasoned. Friends ordered the Cobb salad- massive salad, and the grilled chicken Caesar salad. Tasted both and I would come back to order them myself. This restaurant was a secret, but I don't think it will be for long. I will be back for sure. read more

I waited 24 hours to decide if I should post this. I decided since management didn't do the right thing, I'll use this channel to give feedback. I also urge other patrons to not make the same mistake of leaving quietly. I regret not pushing for a refund. My daughter and decided to split the grilled salmon salad and a wood fired pizza. My husband got the reuben. We paid $47. I was served a meager portion of salmon that was hard and charred. I wonder if it was to hide the flavor of rotten fish. It didn't work, I tasted it and tasted it for the next hour despite eating the mediocre pizza. We told the manager of the problem who removed the dish and brought us dessert to compensate. I didnt want dessert, I wanted my money back. Wasn't even presented as an option. In case your wondering, the reuban was mediocre as well. read more

My family and I come here at least twice a week between weekend brunch, lunch and dinner. I really appreciate the atmosphere (their patio is a little slice of heaven), good food, and live entertainment on the weekends. Our favorites for brunch are the eggs Benedict, waffle, and breakfast sandwich. Such a fun little place with very good food in a great location. It's a nice alternative to the eateries in Draper proper. We spend a lot of time with our kids who live on South Mountain - it's an easy drive. My husband and I went on a rainy Sunday with our one-year-old grandson and sat inside at a window table. It was very pleasant and our little one kept himself busy checking out everything inside and through the window. Can't wait to get back to Draper so we can visit The Ridge again! read more

Loved this restaurant! You order at the counter & then find a table. They have indoor & outdoor seating & on Saturday there was a live band. Salads were really good. The best part, though, was the atmosphere. Gorgeous views & a great concept where they've combined a market with a restaurant. They do serve wine & beer & have a kids menu. I'd recommended stopping by on Saturday night, because there's a guy there making churros that are to die for. Definitely worth the drive! read more

This place has great food. Limited seating and parking. You order at the register and then find yourself a place to sit. I have always been able to get seating although tables are not cleaned off between customers. There is more seating in the summer when they open the outdoor dining. read more

The staff here is so chill, I gotta say for being in such a ritzy area, they are super down to earth. I ordered a pizza and a cesar salad with chicken for dinner, and it was ready pretty quickly. The Cobb Salad here is AMAZING!! It's like a giant plate of fresh goodness. Definitely overpriced, as it's an order then sit down type of restaurant. But the ambiance is nice and just feeling like you're in a resort town (but only driving 5 mins to it) makes up for it. The nachos are also a huge serving and delicious.
