The food by Mama Susy is outstanding! And it IS "Mama Susy" who does all the cooking. This is really a hole in the wall. Only in terms of size. It's clean, it's bright. Just in a very small space. She is the real deal, a real native of the cuisine here in the US cooking for us lucky people. She's a solo act. My wife had the herb chicken and I had the lasagna. Both were healthy portions and both very good. We will be returning. She's such a sweet lady. I hope that her business gets traction. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

I met some sisters and a niece for dinner on a Tuesday night to celebrate a birthday. We were the only diners there and Susy was the only employee, so she had to serve/cook/clean. I'm sure there are other staff helping on weekends. It is a small restaurant with a big menu. I had the ricotta gnocchi with a pink tomato cream sauce. Others ordered margarita pizza, chicken mushroom ravioli with pesto, and brisket linguine. Everything was delicious!! Water comes in a chilled bottle. There were no desserts available the night we ate--would have been nice to top off dinner with a sweet treat. Next time I'll try other items. It has a large parking lot but can be tricky to enter because it's on a busy corner.

Food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Susy was so welcoming and checked on us to make sure everything was ok during our dinner.

The house made pasta is great. You can tell care and quality goes into the preparation. The plating (plastic plates and silverware, water bottles) and ambiance is lacking. I would recommend as a good delivery or pick-up spot.

Lovely woman running the place, she always has nice conversation and her food is really good for a small operation. Loved going here!

Great food! Susy used to be out of an airstream and is now in this little unassuming strip mall. She makes everything herself and boy it tastes fresh. 15-20 minute wait after we ordered. I got a Tuscan Chicken Pasta that was excellent and my dad got the mushroom ravioli and I can't say enough about how good it was. Very impressed!

    Flatbread...yummmm!

You know you struck gold when you walk into a strip mall restaurant and the owner is the only person in the place. Don't get me wrong, I love a crowd but this was a small restaurant with only a few tables in it and it was a late lunch. The owner, Susy, greeted me and treated me so well and kind. She made me a special flatbread that was out of this world and had thinly sliced prosciutto and greens on it. I couldn't stop myself. Then I ordered some sausage pasta and I don't think I left a drop of sauce on my plate when I was done. Everything is homemade here and the owner is your chef. Make it a point to visit Susy's and order away...everything is amazing!

Party of 3 Susy's Kitchen is authentic Italian food. It's a one woman shop. She takes your order, cooks the food and brings it. So don't come if you are in a rush. We were a party of three and we had the Bolognese, Sausages, and ravioli. The food was good and tasted fresh. Loved the salad. Happy to support a small business.

Ordered food at 445 requesting 6 pm. Showed up at 555 and was told 10 more minutes. 40 minutes later and we still don't have the food. Do not come here. This place is a joke.

If you are looking for a great atmosphere, mood lighting and comfortable booths, this place isn't for you. If you are looking for fresh, handmade, delicious Italian food by a Greek-Italian grandma this is the place. This is just Susy out here living her dream, making EVERYTHING by hand the way her Sicilian grandmother taught her. It's a little pricey, but it is Italian food that rivals the best Italian restaurants in all of Utah.

Food was pretty good, but was missing bread with the pasta. Service was slow, she was very rude. Yelled at us to tip before we were done. She stood over us to try to guilt us into to tipping her. I never have an issue tipping, but bad service and rude comments don't deserve one. I wouldn't go back or suggest this place. The chairs were not comfortable at all

The food was barely warm, lacked flavor and not visually appealing. very expensive as well for lasagna and nothing served with it.

The service was slow and the food was just okay for the prices. There was one person being the server and kitchen staff.

Nice little Italian atmosphere with the dimmed lighting. Parking here is very vacant…read more Service was good and it seemed like all servers were trained to do everything in a consistent manner. Replacing cutlery, dishes, water, etc. was all standard practice and I don't think I remember asking for anything regarding that, which was nice. Caesar salad came with a fresh presentation. Neat, but a little too sour/salty for my liking, 7/10. Calamari was also a little too over-seasoned to my liking (lots of salt or herby powder), but the sauces and taste were good, 8.5/10. There was a meatball I tried and that was a very good meatball with sauce, 9/10. Carbonara was also a bit salty and heavy but hey, it's pork fat, egg yolk, cheese, and starchy salty water. Assuming they didn't cheat with cream, it was a smooth carbonara by carbonara standards. 8.5/10 and could be 9.5/10 if it was a little less salty. Overall a great place for dates or small-ish celebrations :)

DATE NIGHT GEM!…read more What a find! The ambience is so cozy and romantic. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable. I asked to wine pairing with fish and received detailed recommendations. There is bread and spread that they bring to the table and it was delish! I ordered bruschetta which was so, tangy and flavorful. Next came Branzino Saltimbocca. The fish was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious with saltiness from prochutto and creaminess from spinach. I would highly recommend this place as everything was delicious. Just keep in mind there is a wait-list during dinner time. Also, portions are huge!

I've been here several times recently…read more Ellie was an excellent server. We had a large, complicated takeout order. She organized everything well and separated the hot and cold items. I had minestrone soup, fettucine Alfredo, gnocchi with walnuts and Gorgonzola sauce, almond cake with raspberry filling and pistachios, and lemon lime gelato. Their rolls and house salads are good too. Their parking lot is tricky--you can't turn left from either exit.

Always Worth the Drive -- Comforting, Classic Italian with Heart…read more Fratelli Italian Food has been one of my go-to spots for years--and it never disappoints. Whether it's date night, dinner with friends, or a bigger group outing, this place consistently delivers delicious food, warm service, and that homey, family-run charm that's getting harder to find. I always recommend calling ahead for a reservation, especially if you're rolling in with more than two people. They've got plenty of room for larger groups (huge plus!), but I like the peace of mind knowing we've got a table waiting. We tend to start every meal the same way--with their antipasto board, and honestly, why mess with perfection? It's a beautiful spread of deli meats, cheeses, olives, sweet peppers, and this time, perfectly cooked asparagus. It's shareable, satisfying, and the kind of appetizer that feels like an occasion in itself. Entrees come with a salad, and the house-made feta dressing is always our pick. Creamy, tangy, and addictive--it's reason enough to clean your plate. For my main dish, I went with the chicken piccata, and it was a win: tender, bright with lemon, and generously portioned. Between the caper-forward sauce and the size of the plate, it was a win for both my appetite and leftovers the next day. My other half ordered the veal marsala, which is rich and satisfying--just know it leans a bit sweet. Our friend went with the spaghetti and meatballs, which feels like Fratelli's unofficial signature dish. Always classic, always comforting. Their wine list leans Italian, of course, and it's well-curated--plenty of great options by the glass or bottle. I only managed a couple photos this time because, full honesty... I was way too excited to eat. Fratelli is a bit of a drive from home, and when you're craving comforting Italian in a space that feels like family--you make the trip. Looking for that mom-and-pop magic with consistently good food, generous portions, and a welcoming vibe? This is your spot.
