One of the good things about Macaroni Grill is that you know what to expect-that's the beautify of a chain restaurant. However, it's not the creative or culinary masterpiece experience you might enjoy at a more local place. The space has been different restaurants in the past and Macaroni Grill moved in making it their own recently. There are some awkward areas that they filled with artificial trees. Hopefully that's a temporary setup since it looks a little out of place. The service was attentive and friendly, the food was just as I remember it to be. I ordered the "create your own" pasta and would have loved a little more generosity in the sauce. The portion sizes are large enough to take home leftovers-which I did. And maybe I'll add a little sauce of my own. ;-)

This is the chain restaurant Romano's Macaroni Grill, unsure why they dropped the first name. We went for Valentine's Day and they were not prepared for the crowd they had. Reservations were running pretty far behind so we ended up sitting in the bar area. We ordered appetizers and then were told they were out of all appetizers. The wait for the food was pretty long and while we were waiting the manager came and asked if we wanted an appetizer (?), which they apparently had and did give us for free. The food was overall good. The shrimp scampi had good flavor. The lamb chops were overcooked (asked for medium rare) but tastes fine after adding salt. I'd go back on a regular day to see if the experience is a bit better.

Great place to enjoy Italian cuisine in South Jordan, Great variety of appetizers, entrees & deserts! Love the Chicken Scallopini and Butternut Tortellacci, (also best Tiramisu I've ever had!!).

Beware! My wife bought two $25 gift cards to Macaroni Grill for my birthday. Tonight we ate dinner at the Macaroni grill in South Jordan. While finishing our meal, and intending to use our gift cards, we overheard another waiter telling the table of six beside us they don't accept the gift cards they intended to use. The waiter told the other table there was a sign by the front door saying the gift cards were not accepted after April 6th. I walked to the front of the store and there were no signs stating this. I spoke with the manager who said the signs were taken down 3 days ago. The reason the gift cards are not accepted is because they are the "Ramono's" franchise gift cards and this store is no longer associated with Ramono's. When you go to the Macaroni Grill website (Ramono's), you choose the state (UT) and it lists one location; South Jordan, UT. I could not find a website for the unknown franchise that now owns the South Jordan store. The staff was apologetic but it doesn't fix the problem. In my opinion this is dishonest to still sell the gift cards, Romano's to still list the South Jordan location as theirs, and for the South Jordan store not make customers aware of this until they attempt to use the gift cards. Furthermore, when we asking Google and Siri for Macaroni Grill's near us, both searches listed South Jordan location and a SLC location with no distinction between the two franchises. When selecting the website on Yelp for the South Jordan store, it takes you to the "Ramono's" Macaroni Grill website.

Great staff as just opened in South Jordan. Great ambience and food was great!! Will be back soon

The food and service was outstanding and amazing prices! You just can't find this quality of food at these prices anywhere these days.

Amazing food, kind waiters, music low enough to hold conversations. Will likely return for special occasions.

They were open on Christmas. They were super busy since they were the only ones open on entire plaza. Food was really good.

It's a great place for a date night or a nicer meal without feeling overly formal. Service was friendly, though it can be a bit slow when it's busy, which is the only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five. Overall, a good experience and a restaurant I'd definitely come back to. The parmesan crusted sole is my favorite!

Here we were, a merry fellowship -- my husband Trace, daughter Haven and her boyfriend Michael,…read moredaughter McKenna and her fiancé Tanner -- setting out last Friday on what we thought was simply a birthday dinner to celebrate Tanner's 25th year. Little did we know, we were embarking on a full-blown Hobbit-level quest for my precious at Wild Fin. None of us had been before. We had no idea the treat that awaited us. Our journey began, as all good quests should, with bread -- specifically the rosemary potato bread recommended by our server, Elana (wise guide, that one). She did not steer us wrong. We found ourselves utterly divided, and equally obsessed, over which treasure was greater: the savory garlic butter or the fig butter. In the end, we surrendered and declared both worthy artifacts, perfectly whetting our appetites for what can only be described as a pure culinary holiday of epic proportions. Now, Trace is on a lifelong quest -- nay, a calling -- to discover the world's best calamari. So naturally, we pressed onward. And friends... if you have never ordered a second round of appetizers, let this be the night you start. This calamari is so good that even those of us who once thought this quest a bit eccentric quickly became devoted pilgrims. The destination? Reached on the first trip. Undoubtedly, unquestionably, the best calamari you will ever experience. Stop looking. Just go to Wild Fin. But was that the end of our foraging adventure? Oh, you sweet summer Hobbit -- no. From the seared ahi tuna, to the scallops and prawns, to the surf-and-turf salmon and filet, every dish felt like another jeweled prize pulled from a dragon's hoard. Even the humble burger shone: Michael stared at it in reverent silence, declared it too pretty to eat, and then promptly announced it was the best burger he'd ever had. Drinks were spot-on, plates returned empty, and every last morsel whispered, stay... linger... order more. By the end, we wished we were Hobbits -- specifically the kind who eat second dinner like Trace, in lieu of any breakfast at all. So let it be known: this Riverton gem is Karen-approved. Our fellowship will absolutely return, hearts full, appetites ready, and always in pursuit of my precious.

The rendang was a clear stand out to me, always been one of my favorite dishes so not a big surprise. The curry chicken was also very tasty and the sauce that came with the greens had a really nice flavor The martabak telor is a meat and eggs stuffed scallion pancake that packs quite a flavor punch! I had a hard time identifying the seasonings they used but it felt more south Asian than anything else we tried Overall i thought this was a great spot and hope I have the chance to come back in the future!

My friends ordered the Cowboy roll and the Elephant roll, and they said both were amazing and perfectly crispy. My partner always tries a new roll, but he only eats cooked or fried sushi. This is the one place he always chooses because the rolls are fried to perfection without being greasy or heavy. The service is good, and the atmosphere is always so cozy. The sushi tasted fresh and everything was really good, especially for the price. The restaurant was busy during lunch, which is usually a good sign. Because of that, it did take a while to get seated and a little bit before someone came to take our order. One downside was the seating. I got placed right in the sun and it was super hot during the meal. Overall, the food and prices were great. Just keep in mind if you're stopping in during the lunch rush, it might not be the quickest spot if you're on a tight lunch break. I'd still come back again.
