My boyfriend and I have been ordering here for about 2 years now and it's been one of our favorite places. It's always been my boyfriend picking up the food and our order has always been great. We never had any issues. He's always said they're really nice. We decided after almost 2 years we should dine in. Unfortunately I'm not sure if I want to come back after this terrible experience. I want to say that the food was great as it always is . Service tho absolutely the worst experience we both have ever had at any place. We walked in and servers were laying down in the booth on their phones that didn't bother me it was slow I get it but you could tell they were bothered by us walking in. They were not friendly and we were not welcomed. I ignored it and kept smiling since I tried to be understanding. We were seated and one of the girls comes up and takes our drink order as she's asking us she's scratching her head and you can hear the annoyance in her voice. Both me and my boyfriend were talking about leaving and both agreed we felt unwelcome but we love their food so we're like let's just keep trying and seeing if anything changes. We were friendly saying please and thank you everytime but they never said you're welcome they just walked away. The server comes also very annoyed. They checked on us for refills and to see how our food was a good amount I personally don't like being asked every minute how everything was so they did a good job on that. Then a family came in and the server had a smile I never once saw during our visit. I'm not sure what their issue was but we have never had any experience like this at any place we've dined in at . I think that says a lot about us and goes to show it definitely has nothing to do with us and everything with them. What even happened last night? We called around 9:10 PM to confirm we could still best seated. Yes. Walk in the door a few minutes later, well before the advertised 9:30 pm closing time. The waitress tried to refuse to seat us. We told her we called in and she spent the rest of our service pitching an absolute fit. Would not respond beyond grunting at us, all but flung our food at us, wouldn't smile or engage us at all. Spent some time actually throwing things as she cleaned a table near us. It was spectacular and awful. The rest of our experience belies the temper tantrum this girl was throwing, though. All of the food was made both quickly and accurately. It was all very good. Stopped by Sushi Bomb during my lunch break and overall had a good experience. I ordered the lunch special that came with a tuna roll, salmon roll, and miso soup for $9, which is a really solid deal. I also added the jalapeño roll for $10.95. The sushi tasted fresh and everything was really good, especially for the price. The restaurant was busy during lunch, which is usually a good sign. Because of that, it did take a while to get seated and a little bit before someone came to take our order. One downside was the seating. I got placed right in the sun and it was super hot during the meal. Overall, the food and prices were great. It's simply great value for the money. That's what makes this place a win. Just about all the rolls we tried were sub $10 and at that price, they're SO worth it. We absolutely love this little sushi nook in Draper. This is always the first place we go when I'm craving sushi. I always get the Sushi Bomb, and it is so good. It's basically a fried shrimp sushi roll without the seaweed, and it's something I genuinely crave a couple times a week. My other go-to is the Hot Girl Summer roll. It has just the right amount of spice for this Louisiana girl. I always order it with extra eel sauce because honestly, I could drink that stuff. My friends ordered the Cowboy roll and the Elephant roll, and they said both were amazing and perfectly crispy. My partner always tries a new roll, but he only eats cooked or fried sushi. This is the one place he always chooses because the rolls are fried to perfection without being greasy or heavy. The service is good, and the atmosphere is always so cozy. I picked this spot last minute as the other dinner spot had a long line. This spot exceeded my expectations. We ordered these rolls: Tuna Lover, Eel cucumber, Seafood Naruto, Mango Dragon. The Sushi & Sashimi Deluxe. Edamame, Gyoza, Hibachi vegetables. The sushi rolls and sashimi were all tasty and fresh. The seafood naruto was a riceless roll which was quite interesting. We had heard good things about Sushi Bomb in Draper. We stopped in on a Saturday evening and we were seated right away. As with a lot of sushi restaurants, the menu is quite large and provides a lot of various options. Ultimately, we decided on five rolls. Also had to try the sweet potato fries because they looked really good. Everything came out fairly quickly and was super fresh and delicious. I'm also careful to check board of health records before endulging on a new restaurant, especially, sushi. But Yelp had great reviews of Sush Bomb and I couldn't wait to try it. The service was great, the restaurant was clean. I ordered 3 rolls to go and ate one while I waited for my order. I ate the Vegas roll while there. It was good but I felt like the crab salad over powered the roll and there wasn't a big enough piece of salmon to taste it. The Dynamite roll was good with a perfect amount of fire. I would definitely get that one again. Utah roll was also good. Moving forward, I'll definitely go back but will avoid the rolls with crab salad. In my opinion, it's just too over powering. This was an interesting experience. My daughter and I went here for the first time last night. We ordered the cowboy roll, the jalapeño roll and the mango roll. We each got a salad, mine the small dinner salad, and her, the cucumber salad. I also ordered a small miso soup and some hot tea. The place is on the small side, cheap looking menus. But the prices were surprisingly low for the fair. The tea and the soup were just average. But the salads and rolls were really good. Fresh fresh ingredients and a shocking amount of flavor. I just kept talking about how amazed I was that a simple cucumber salad could be that good with that much flavor! The rolls were terrific too. I'm excited to go back. The service was very attentive. Very bad sushi. They have like 30 different rolls listed in their menu, many of which differ by just one ingredient. Sushi were tiny and barely had any fish. The rice was falling apart and tasted like a gummy. They were extremely dry. They also put too much of tempura flakes on all of the rolls. The server was not friendly. Came here on a Tuesday afternoon. The lady that seated us was not very friendly and was a little awkward. The sushi was not that special. The seaweed paper didn't taste fresh.
