    miso soup

Stopped by Sushi Bomb during my lunch break and overall had a good experience. I ordered the lunch special that came with a tuna roll, salmon roll, and miso soup for $9, which is a really solid deal. I also added the jalapeño roll for $10.95. The sushi tasted fresh and everything was really good, especially for the price. The restaurant was busy during lunch, which is usually a good sign. Because of that, it did take a while to get seated and a little bit before someone came to take our order. One downside was the seating. I got placed right in the sun and it was super hot during the meal. Overall, the food and prices were great. Just keep in mind if you're stopping in during the lunch rush, it might not be the quickest spot if you're on a tight lunch break. I'd still come back again.

Got this recommendation from Yelp when in the area today. I'm sushi obsessed so am very picky when it comes to quality. Sushi Bomb, despite its old, strip mall location is worth the visit. It's simply great value for the money. That's what makes this place a win. Just about all the rolls we tried were sub $10 and at that price, they're SO worth it. Service was decent, and food came out fairly quickly. Our favorites today? The Keto and the Titan. We'll definitely be back to try more things!

We absolutely love this little sushi nook in Draper. This is always the first place we go when I'm craving sushi. I always get the Sushi Bomb, and it is so good. It's basically a fried shrimp sushi roll without the seaweed, and it's something I genuinely crave a couple times a week. My other go-to is the Hot Girl Summer roll. It has just the right amount of spice for this Louisiana girl. I always order it with extra eel sauce because honestly, I could drink that stuff. My friends ordered the Cowboy roll and the Elephant roll, and they said both were amazing and perfectly crispy. My partner always tries a new roll, but he only eats cooked or fried sushi. This is the one place he always chooses because the rolls are fried to perfection without being greasy or heavy. The service is good, and the atmosphere is always so cozy. We love this hidden gem and truly hope they get all the business they deserve.

I picked this spot last minute as the other dinner spot had a long line. This spot exceeded my expectations. We ordered these rolls: Tuna Lover, Eel cucumber, Seafood Naruto, Mango Dragon. The Sushi & Sashimi Deluxe. Edamame, Gyoza, Hibachi vegetables. The sushi rolls and sashimi were all tasty and fresh. The seafood naruto was a riceless roll which was quite interesting. My favorite roll was the mango dragon. Bookmarking this spot for the future! It was a nice and efficient spot with ample parking.

We had heard good things about Sushi Bomb in Draper. We stopped in on a Saturday evening and we were seated right away. As with a lot of sushi restaurants, the menu is quite large and provides a lot of various options. Ultimately, we decided on five rolls. Also had to try the sweet potato fries because they looked really good. Everything came out fairly quickly and was super fresh and delicious. It was awesome to try new sushi rolls - we would definitely recommend the rolls that we chose. Sweet potato roll Fashion roll Honolulu roll Crunch roll Vegas roll The restaurant was clean, and inviting. It was a little on the cool side, so we all kept our jackets on.

I love sushi but I haven't found anything even close to Takashi, especially in my area of Draper / South Jordan area. I'm also careful to check board of health records before endulging on a new restaurant, especially, sushi. But Yelp had great reviews of Sush Bomb and I couldn't wait to try it. The service was great, the restaurant was clean. I ordered 3 rolls to go and ate one while I waited for my order. I ate the Vegas roll while there. It was good but I felt like the crab salad over powered the roll and there wasn't a big enough piece of salmon to taste it. The Dynamite roll was good with a perfect amount of fire. I would definitely get that one again. Utah roll was also good. Moving forward, I'll definitely go back but will avoid the rolls with crab salad. In my opinion, it's just too over powering. Perfect Edamame!

I think this place is great for good, fast sushi! The rolls were great and the nigiri was good! We got the Pink Lady, Vegas, Citrus and tuna nigiri and they didn't disappoint. The place was small but wasn't too busy for Sunday lunch. The service wasn't super great, it felt rushed and like they didn't want to be there. But overall is it my favorite sushi place? No. Would I recommend it and come back? Yes.

Sushi Bomb is the bomb! I've had both dine in and take out experiences and everything has been great. They have a wide variety of rolls to choose from, as well as appetizers and other entree options for those who may not like sushi (chicken teriyaki, etc). Love their bento box offerings as well. I've tried several different rolls and none has disappointed me. For the price point and quality, the value is excellent! Service when I dined in was very quick - ordering and picking up take out is also a breeze. Highly recommend checking out Sushi Bomb!

Great menu, and everything we ordered was delicious. I even liked the salad dressing. I recommend the Sushi Bombs for sure. I also noticed that the sushi was well made and it wasn't overly stuffed with rice. Great service, and clean new atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

I am so glad I decided to try a new sushi place. This did not disappoint! The service was great, the atmosphere was clean and fresh and inviting, and the food was delicious! You honestly cannot beat these prices, and in this economy, that is something to be really grateful for! ($16 for miso soup, a specialty roll, and one order of nigiri) The sushi was fresh and delicious, and the miso soup was warm and comforting (as it should be!). I will definitely be back!

Not good sushi! The sunomono had too much sugar in it. The rolls were kind of dry and the sashimi tasted mealy, from frozen.

We ordered Laarb, Pumpkin Curry, Tom Ka, Satay, Chicken Wings, Pad Thai, and the papaya salad platter. My only note to the staff is to perhaps include a photo of the papaya salad platter. We thought it would just be a larger portion of the salad, but it had a smattering of different things. All great! Just not what we expected. Maybe that's standard for Thai fare and we just didn't know it? Service: the issues spoken of with being rushed were completely absent for this trip. We actually accidentally overstayed our welcome past closing! I didn't expect them to close at 8:15 on Saturday, but that is a-okay with me. They were so kind as to give me a free Mango Sticky Rice for my birthday! This will have to become a tradition.

The food... well, I would describe it as Thai food for white people. It tasted ok, but I've had more authentic Thai in airports. Everything here seems to be a strip mall, so... this place is in a strip mall. I really don't need to be a jerk about it. This place is in business to make money, and what I think is going on is they are preparing food for the folks that live around here. If they made Thai food like I'm used to in New York City, people here might hate it. I don't know. Not everyone likes fish sauce I guess. Anyhow, I can tell by the other reviews that people here love this place, and I think that's fantastic. They shouldn't change a thing just because some NYC asshole randomly showed up.

4 Stars - Very Good Seafood, Nice Atmosphere, Service Could Be Better…read more Market Street Grill - South Jordan 10702 South River Front Parkway South Jordan, UT 84095 Visited: August 14, 2026 I dined at Market Street Grill for the first time with several colleagues and, overall, had a very good experience. The restaurant is very nicely appointed inside, was exceptionally clean, and had a comfortable atmosphere. I would definitely return. I will say that much of the menu is definitely on the pricey side. I ordered the Regular Fish & Chips Dinner ($24), which came with two nice-sized pieces of fish, french fries, coleslaw, and a generous bowl of clam chowder. The chowder was very good, and I also really enjoyed both the fries and coleslaw. I added the fried shrimp for $4, which I thought was actually a bargain. The shrimp were nicely prepared, and both the tartar sauce and cocktail sauce served with the meal were very good. Three others in our party also had the Regular Fish & Chips ($24 each), while another colleague ordered the Coconut Crusted entrée ($50), which she enjoyed very much. We also shared Onion Rings ($10). For my drink, I had a Blackberry Lemonade ($4.50 -- $4 for the lemonade plus 50¢ for blackberry), which was very tasty. We finished with dessert. I had the Key Lime Slice ($9), which I thought was average. Two of my colleagues ordered the Crème Brûlée ($9 each) and both said it was very good, although the portions were definitely on the smaller side. We also had an Ice Cream ($5). The only real knock on our visit was the service. Our server that evening simply wasn't very friendly and seemed to be going through the motions rather than making us feel particularly welcome. Maybe she was just having a bad night--it happens--and I doubt that experience is necessarily representative of the restaurant overall. Despite the service issue and somewhat high prices, the quality of the seafood, the clam chowder, the sides, and the pleasant, clean atmosphere made this a solid four-star experience for me. I would definitely return and give Market Street Grill another try.

We found out the lettuce and onions weren't just for decoration underneath the calamari though, they went super well together and put it up to an 8/10. As you can see I DEVOURED my prime rib, 10/10. My boyfriend enjoyed his New York even though he didn't realize it was a bone in New York he also wished he would have gotten the au gratin potatoes because he tried mine and OH MY they were delicious. Here is where the identity crisis starts. You walk into a nice space with red velvet decor and Italian landscapes. I had to do a double-take to make sure we were in the proper establishment. The menu has photos of their dishes, great for a visual eater like myself. We started with the soft shell crabs in a chili sauce. The crabs were lightly battered, crisp and a delicious taste. We saved the sauce to pour over our rice, an added bonus. The pad Thai was to sweet, and over-run with red onions. This is not a combo I'm familiar with, not my favorite. The pork spiced ribs with honey, tomatoes, Thai spices and sesame oil was unique and good. They fell off the bone tender. What is stuck in my craw is the message sent by the physical space. Beautiful red velvet chairs, Italian landscapes and wine bottles lining the walls does not lend to fine Thai dining in my mind. A least paint over the walls and add SOME Thai touches. Let your wait staff know living on cell phone and ignoring patrons is never a winning message. The male bathroom has a toilet covered with painted tape and several missing pieces of porcelain. Are you a serious business or a pop-up finishing off someone else's lease? Attention to details are important and help set the table way before the food arrives. I wish Ve La Thai Fine Dining the best, but question their commitment after being here for over a year, perhaps it is all intentional.

It may have been because of the fact that it was Valentine's Day and they were super busy, or because we didn't have a reservation, but we waited 30 minutes to place our order. I ordered the thai chili basil stir fry with tofu and they brought it with chicken. So I had to have them redo the order because I am vegetarian. My mom ordered the pad khee mao, my aunt ordered something else but asked to substitute the rice for noodles . They said ok. But then came back 10 minutes later and said no substitutions. So she ordered the same dish as my mom. My niece ordered stir fried rice with seafood. My mom, aunt and I absolutely LOVED our dishes and thought they were super tasty. Mine had an abundance of veggies and really good sauce. Wow! It was really good. My niece thought her dish was only ok, but she is super picky and has them take out half the ingredients, and does not like a LOT of food, so I wouldn't take her opinion! The server never came back to check on us and it took another 30 minutes after we were done eating to catch someone's eye to get them to bring our check. Again, I don't know if this was because they were busy and it was Valentine's Day or what. But they had at least 10 people waiting to be seated the entire time we were there, so you would think they'd be more interested in turning the tables over to get more people seated. The restaurant has very cool walls and ceilings (the decor) and is in a very lovely deep purple/plum color. It is vey nice and does look upscale inside. We laughed about this place being in a smith's grocery mini mall area because the inside was so incongruent with the outside. Despite the incorrect food and lousy service, we did agree we would want to go back because the food was so amazing. But decided that the next time we go, we'll make sure to make reservations just in case that was part of the issue when we visited it for the first time on Valentines Day without reservations!
