Friendly and fast service, great selection and reasonable pricing. Checked this spot out because I am out here on a work trip. Service was fast and friendly and they really have a huge selection of rolls to pick from. I got the firebird roll and momtok (lol). Both were super yummy and had great flavor. It looks like they have good lunch specials as well.

I came here with a group of friends to try their omekase and it was such a good experience! The chef explained each dish and each bite was delicious, most of them were unique and foods I had not tried before. The fish was very fresh and we finished the meal off with their house-made ice cream with pistachios. I appreciated how efficient everything was and it took less than an hour to get through the whole 16-course

I am here for a work travel and came across this sushi spot on Yelp and decided to check it out for a solo dine-in. The quality is and portion size is perfect and price is cheap compared to other places. Thanks for delivering when I asked for less rice! I recommend to check out if you're in the area.

My friend told me about this omakase that's only available at the Midvale location of Itto sushi, so I decided to try it out. They definitely selected the freshest sushi. Each course is beautifully presented. The handcrafted nigiri were amazing. One of them melted in my mouth! The sea urchin and toro were especially outstanding--each bite was rich and luxurious. The service was great. Each staff was friendly and knowledgeable, guiding us through each dish with explanations of the ingredients and preparation. I had an amazing experience. It is very expensive. I wasn't full in the end after paying over $100. I probably won't go again, but I think it's worth trying!

I went here for lunch with some people from my work. We got gyoza to start and it was delicious. It was really soft and the flavor was great. We also go the stairs to heaven to share which comes with five pieces of nigiri. I had the toro and the salmon. I had asked the people I was with what toro was and the waitress heard me and came over and explained it to me. It's the stomach of the bluefin tuna, so it is more fatty. It was so delicious and literally melted in my mouth. The salmon was also very good. I had the playboy and it was good! One of my coworkers ordered the firebird. They bring it out wrapped in tinfoil and light the plate on fire. I tried one of the pieces and it creates a smoky flavor. It also cooks the salmon a little bit. It was really good. Overall, everyone enjoyed their food. I was really impressed by how the waitress went above and beyond to answer our questions. They serve Diet Coke. The vibes are really cute, and I really enjoyed eating here.

Called to make a reservation for omakase, the lady said her manager would call me back as she took my phone number & no one did. That is a sign for poor customer service.

I've come here a few times and they always deliver! Sushi is fresh and the staff is always welcoming. Maria was my server and was very attentive. Anytime I'm in Salt Lake City I always try to come here for lunch!

Wow this was the fastest service we've ever had. We ordered 6 rolls, an appetizer, and soup and I swear we were out of there in under 30 minutes. We love that they do daily specials that are 20% off, the hand roll was a favorite. The tuna was so fresh and flavorful. The scallop dream was another surprise winner on the night, it was just the most unique of the rolls we ordered. Maddie was a very nice server and super quick. The restaurant is much bigger than it looks outside and everyone working seemed so nice.

I've been to a few other Itto Sushi's and this location is EASILY my favorite! I already knew I liked the sushi, but this place had the best service and vibe. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful, we were very impressed! It was pretty crowded on a Friday night and had a good atmosphere with good lighting and music inside. I ordered something new and got the Firebird roll since it was on the 20% off specials list, so amazing!! I loved it and it was the perfect spice level for me (which is not too much since I'm a wimp haha!) My boyfriend got the Itto Special, which wasn't what he was expecting but he liked it! For sure will be back, good sushi for a good price!

I've been here a few times and every time the food is superb. The miso soup is lovely. The dandelion roll has a sweet taste to it which was a nice balance with our Titanic Roll which is more tangy. Both were amazing but I think I liked the Titanic roll a little more.

First time at Itto Sushi and we love it! The food was out so quickly and is so delicious. The staff is super kind and welcoming and the restaurant is really clean! Highly recommend!

The Kaguya roll is excellent. The service is good and the restaurant has a decidedly cosmopolitan atmosphere. Considering Utah is hours away from the nearest ocean the prices are reasonable. We will continue to eat here and I recommend this place without hesitation. An added plus is they have a fairly big non fish menu if you're going with people that don't want "sushi". I can't comment on the other offerings as we only get fish here but all things considered I'd be surprised if it wasn't good as well.

Decently sized menu with something for everyone. Their Gyoza was well stuffed and perfectly cooked. Also got the takoyaki which are savory, octopus filled fried balls, a common Japanese street food. Never had it before but I was sold, pretty to look at but most importantly it had great flavor. The salmon lemonade roll was a perfect, "light" roll for me. The name is fitting, the lemon is caramelized and some of the sugar granules could be found on the bottom of the plate. Kind of a sweet savory roll, but really a close sibling the common sunrise roll at most restaurants. Next was the Kaguyehime roll, pretty simple roll but was very flavorful. Something I haven't really seen in the area before is freshly sliced ginger served with the sushi, definitely appreciated that since it is much more flavorful and a better palate cleanser that what you typically find a most sushi restaurants. They also offer freshly grated wasabi, so if you've been wanting to try the real thing this is the place to do it. We got their Ube cheesecake which was probably the only disappointing part of the meal. Ube flavor was not very strong so it was mostly just a regular cheesecake which is fine. One of the raspberries was starting to mold but so keep an eye on out of season fruit. Restaurant ambiance and decoration is great, low light and intimate. Service was also great, very attentive. Didn't see an alcohol menu but they do have a bar so sure they have a signature cocktail menu. Their mocktail menu actually looked pretty good and reasonably priced, would probably try it next time. In summary, I'd highly recommend coming here. Great sushi with quality ingredients, great service and ambiance. Will definitely be back in the future!

While constructed unlike other Vegas rolls I've had, it was really good! We also had the gyoza as an appetizer and those were great. We love sushi and were excited to try this spot…read more I was very impressed with the inside. It's really clean and pretty, from the flooring to the lighting to the bathrooms. I feel like a nice bathroom is rare at a sushi restaurant. We were seated immediately, which is appreciated. We did come at 4:30 on a Saturday, which I think helped. Some of my random, less positive thoughts: There were no napkins, chopsticks, or ginger/wasabi on the table to start with. We have a three year old, so napkins are of vital importance. Every time we asked for napkins, we were given 4-5 cocktail napkins instead of real napkins. This ended up being even more inconvenient when our toddler spilled his miso soup on the table and floor, and we were mopping it up very inefficiently with what they had given us. A California roll being priced at $13 is a little much for us. Again with a toddler, we stick to the basics, and when the basics are pricy, it makes it hard for us to want to come back. They do have a kids' roll with avocado and cucumber--missing the only part my son cares about (crab). As a price conscious, inflation affected individual, I was put off by the least expensive rolls being $13, and most expensive being $17. I got the mango roll as it most closely matched my favorite roll at my favorite restaurant. I would not get it again. My husband got the "sex on the beach" roll and liked it but didn't have any outstanding remarks about it. The good news: - The service was great. Staff were friendly, attentive, and quick. - They handled our son's miso spill with grace. - They had a "sauce basket," which is super cool and unique. - Our coconut shrimp appetizer was AMAZING, as was the sauce that came with it. Seriously, so good. - The portion of noodles for my toddler was really generous for the price, which I appreciated. - I got salmon nigiri which was really good. (Note: if you get a 3 piece nigiri, you can only choose 1 fish.) - I appreciate how many appetizers they have at reasonable prices, and would like to come back just for those, honestly. - The wide variety is nice. I'd like to try sushi pizza sometime. And they have a lot of vegan options for those who are about that. - We had a coupon on the back of our Smith's receipt! If we come back, I think I'd try another roll or two (maybe the Caterpillar, Vegas, Geisha, or Rainbow) but would mainly focus on appetizers and small plates. I think this spot is worth a try if you can budget for it. We are mostly a "happy hour sushi" family and love to stick to our favorite across the street.

Unfortunately, by the time our food arrived, we had only about 30 minutes left, which made it impossible to finish and arrive on time.
