The papa roll and seasons roll both made gluten free

We love going to The Sushi. We always get right in and everything tastes delicious. We have a couple of people in the family that eat gluten free and they are great about accommodating to us. We love the seasons roll, jalapeño poppers and tempura shrimp and veggies. All gluten free.

Good yellowtail and amaebi. The service was prompt and attentive as well. I was not a big fan of the tuna they used but other than that it was good. The Yakisoba had plentiful veggies and actually had Yakisoba flavor. Definitely worth grabbing some sushi and traditional Japanese fair if you're in the Sandy vicinity.

Found this on Yelp and remember a while back there used to be a Hagermanns Bakery & Deli and a Sweet Nothings Bakery which both had AYCE all you could eat French toast. Never had their French toast but do remember some sandwiches and bakery items were decent. Back to this review: The Good: Soft shell crab Pot stickers Majority of the rolls The Bad: House salad Service What irked my buddy and I the most was that people that were seated after and had ordered after us received their meals first. One lady running the show, busing tables, taking orders, running food, and being a cashier. It was painful trying to flag her down to get some attention. Maybe the service is better in the evening? Nothing worse than taking a 90 minutes lunch on a busy workday. Might return.

POSITIVES: Don't let the name fool you, this place is chock full of options besides sushi. Whether it's curry, rice, noodles, teriyaki chicken, a bento box, or a variety of ramen, this place offers lots of satisfying options. The appetizers are equally tempting : edamame, calamari, gyoza, takoyaki, etc. As far as sushi goes, this place nails it with a blend of great flavor and awesome presentation. I ordered the colorful "Playboy roll" (fried shrimp, salmon, tobiko--tiny fish eggs, and jalapeño) and the "Phoenix roll" (tempura shrimp, eel, avocado, salmon, jalapeño, green onion, sesame seeds, teriyaki sauce, and spicy mayo.). This roll was unlike anything if ever been presented with at a sushi restaurant...trust me, it is very exciting and worth every penny. The Japanese decor and theme is very friendly and inviting. The waitress was extremely polite and knowledgeable. Also, the mochi ice cream is fabulous, and you can't go wrong with it. NEGATIVES: the menu was covered in grease from someone fingers... Not sure if the material just attracts grease really easily or something... Also, there was a BOGO 50% off for all sushi rolls... I only ordered 2 rolls myself (one was $15ish, the other would have been about $7 with the offer), and I somehow still walked out paying $30, aside from tip. Still not terrible, but not what I had expected. PRICE: expect to pay $15-30 per person depending on how much food you get. VERDICT: it was a fun experience, and I'm definitely curious about some of the other sushi rolls (and curry!) It's love to come back, but given the price, I may have to wait until my work takes us out so it's on their dime.

Brought the family and ordered various sushi rolls and a bowl of ramen. Great spot to stop by. Always passed by since it's next to Harmon's. Finally convinced the kids to have sushi instead is pizza and I'm glad we did. Quality of the fish was good when I ordered the large Sashimi platter. There was octopus I included so I'm not a big fan of that but I'll still keep this place rated 5 star for everything else. Hot sake was Purple Haze which I loved.

We found this place on google cause we were wanting to take our out-of-town east-coast best friends somewhere cool. WOW. Some sushi places make it mushy and flavorless. This is one of the best rolls I've had in Utah.

It's always been my boyfriend picking up the food and our order has always been great. We never had any issues. He's always said they're really nice. We decided after almost 2 years we should dine in. Unfortunately I'm not sure if I want to come back after this terrible experience. I want to say that the food was great as it always is . Service tho absolutely the worst experience we both have ever had at any place. We walked in and servers were laying down in the booth on their phones that didn't bother me it was slow I get it but you could tell they were bothered by us walking in. They were not friendly and we were not welcomed. I ignored it and kept smiling since I tried to be understanding. We were seated and one of the girls comes up and takes our drink order as she's asking us she's scratching her head and you can hear the annoyance in her voice. Both me and my boyfriend were talking about leaving and both agreed we felt unwelcome but we love their food so we're like let's just keep trying and seeing if anything changes. We were friendly saying please and thank you everytime but they never said you're welcome they just walked away. The server comes also very annoyed. They checked on us for refills and to see how our food was a good amount I personally don't like being asked every minute how everything was so they did a good job on that. Then a family came in and the server had a smile I never once saw during our visit. I'm not sure what their issue was but we have never had any experience like this at any place we've dined in at . I think that says a lot about us and goes to show it definitely has nothing to do with us and everything with them. I served and hosted for a few years I know how it is when it's slow and you're relaxing and a customer comes in but also was taught to be professional and knew not to take out my laziness and annoyance on the customers.

Very disappointed in tonight's service. Sat at the grill within 5 minutes of entering. Great! But…read morethe server never came around to get our drink order. A gentleman finally got up to go strike a match under someone's year end. The young female server comes over half grumpily with a slight wannabe smile, and takes our drink order. She brings most of the drinks fairly quickly. But doesn't even attempt to ask if we're ready to order and we've been there 25ish minutes waiting?! The grill across from us got sat after us and by the time she came back to see if we were ready to order, they were done with the show and eating. *InsertEyeRoll*. She took our orders, repeating them and went on her way and shortly returned with our soup and salad. A few more minutes go by just barely before our cook shows up. He gets asking about everyone's orders and meat preference. Awesome. He starts his show, as always... scrambled eggs and rice first right?! Unfortunately, out of 8 of us 7 ordered fried rice, one steamed. Server brought out steamed rice to the one, and cook dishes out 5 bowls of fried rice. Two of us question where our rice was. So they have to prep and cook in the kitchen. Like WTAF?! But whatever... Cook was good, but not overly funny. He didn't even use the funny oil peeing boy (IYKYK) which my 9yo old always gets excited about. Food was cooked just right IMO but server never came back to refill drinks or see if we needed anything. They don't have yum yum sauce it's something much runnier which was disappointing. After the cook was done, they were practically rushing us out, by picking up plates, offering boxes, and setting new clean dishwater near the grill. I'm glad that they are efficient, but where's my server? Where's my water & wine refill? For a Friday evening and NOT very busy, I was really bummed for how horrible our experience and service was. This is one of the best teppanyaki restaurants around. This server didn't do her job and our last 5 star experience turned to a 3 star and was underwhelming sadly.
