His Happy Facr
Jann M.

My husband loves Sushi. We decided to try Sake. If you love it too you must eat here. First the ambience. It reminds me of a small Japanese Restaurant in SanFrancisco. It is so clean and the wait staff so polite and quiet. He had three rolls. He asked the Chef to surprise him with one and he said hands down that was his favorite. It is not on the menu but I have found when asked they often will make you something that is not in the Menu if they can. So try them out if you haven't. You mouth will be rewarded.

Nigiri and Sunshine!
Amy L.

Very happy I found this hidden gem! They have a great selection of rolls and nigiri. We had a sunshine roll and the nigiri were both delicious. For appetizers we had some tempura, which wasn't too heavy, and mussel shoots. The atmosphere is busy, but not too loud and a feels a bit cozy. Can't wait to come back!

Great sushi and Ramen spot! Family and kid friendly. However, no kid menu. Portion sizes were great. Exceptional bowls of ramen! The broth was rich and flavorful, with a perfect balance of savory and umami notes. The noodles had just the right amount of chew, and the toppings were fresh and generously portioned. The chashu was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the egg was perfectly soft-boiled. A truly satisfying and comforting meal that leaves you craving more. Highly recommended for ramen lovers! Staff was very accommodating and helpful. The atmosphere at Sake is absolutely fantastic! From the moment you step in, you're greeted by a warm, inviting ambiance that blends traditional Japanese decor with a modern twist. The soft lighting, cozy seating, and elegant wooden accents create a perfect setting for both a casual meal and a special occasion. The open kitchen adds an exciting energy, letting you see the chefs in action as they prepare your meal with precision. It's a place where you can truly relax and enjoy a delicious dining experience.

The service was amazing. We had a couple of rolls, including one customized to our preferences. The grilled squid was very good, and the fish was incredibly fresh. The tempura was good, though I would personally suggest changing the type of tempura mix. However, the atmosphere could use some improvement--it feels too much like a cafeteria, and the lighting is overly bright.

Chirashi

Another really good dinner at Sake. Made a dinner reservation for 5:00 pm on a Saturday night and the place was much busier that we had experienced before. Our table was ready when we arrived and the food we ordered came out so quickly. I had the chirashi which had a nice variety of sashimi. Cuts of the sashimi was a little uneven but everything tasted fresh and not fishy. Our other entrees were really good too.

Hamachi and Tuna Nigiri

Jade was our server and she was amazing. If you like plum wine I recommend the Hakutsuru. The hamachi was incredible, we love the Sakura Roll and Playboy. It's a quiet spot for 845 on a Saturday and we love that, this place is a neighborhood treasure.

Fantastic spot, and my first time here. Great service and very fast delivery, though I didn't try any hot food offerings. The rolls were tasty and well-composed, and the nigiri fresh (so good I ordered double). Definitely will be back!

Takoyaki
Layne D.

I've been continuing my search for the best sushi rolls in the area and this place did not disappoint! We grabbed take out for dinner and enjoyed our meal. The Takoyaki with octopus was very good. It was my first time trying it but I was pleasantly surprised. For sushi, I got a Philly roll and Unagi roll. Both were the best I've had in the area yet, definitely fresh and worth the price point. We also tried the chicken teriyaki which comes with rice and steamed or tempura veggies. This was some of the best chicken teriyaki in the area that my partner has had so far. The veggie tempura was very good too, no wimpy pieces. Service was friendly, ordering online was a breeze and our food was ready at the quoted pick up time. I'll be back!

Sake special roll

Great spot hidden in a strip mall!! The inside is dimly lit and we'll decorated. The service is quick - we were surprised at how quickly our appetizes and then meals came out. My father says the muscle shooter was the best he's ever had. Everything we ate was beautiful which is nice because you eat with your eyes first. For appetizers; Don't skip out on the tacoyaki even though it sounds odd - it is rich and savory tapioca like consistency in a crunchy shell with octopus. Simply splendid. The seaweed salad has exceptional sesame flavor (not too fishy.) The sushi was fresh and we tried many nice flavors and textures. We enjoyed every roll we tried. We'll definitely recommend this place to friends and return when we're in the area!

Tonkotsu ramen and karrage
John C.

Had no idea this place had existed 18 months ago. Was on DoorDash craving Ramen and this place delivered all the way out to where I live. Couldn't believe it! Ordered the Tonkotsu ramen and chicken karrage. Both were delicious and really hit the spot and satisfied my craving. Would love to dine-in and check it out in person as there are many items I need to try.

Excellent staff and owners. The Sake roll is fantastic. Sangria is great on hot summer nights. Outdoor seating is shaded and nice.

Karaage 5/5 - super krispy and juicy, piping hot! Duck ramen, 3/5, the noodles and soup were fantastic, but the duck itself was a bit dry. The char siu bun is pretty good, but a bit too much bun and a bit too much mayo. Gyozas were fine. I think they put enough extras in their ramen. Both times I've had the tonkotsu, my go-to ramen. Of course, they have various Ramune drinks there. But not the creamy melon drink, my favorite. Service is friendly and efficient. Not a cozy place in which to eat, but it is nice. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. I saw that they offer a non-spicy tonkotsu and a spicy karai ramen, which looked like a spicy tonkotsu, but it had ground pork instead of chashu. I asked to see if I could sub the ground pork for chashu but was told they don't do that. Instead I got the regular tonkotsu and asked for spice on the side, which came as a spice rack. My bf got the shoyu ramen. We both agreed we wished the noodles were a little different (they're a little smaller/thinner than we were expecting), but the flavor of the broth was good, I liked the bamboo and black fungus, and the soft boiled egg was DELISH. I'd be curious to try the spicy karai next time. And I know this is so silly/weird to say, but their water was so good, it needed its own shout-out! I probably drank more water than I had all day in one sitting (and that's on top of all the ramen broth I was drinking!). Honestly, I usually hate drinking water, but it was so good here that I GUZZLED it, and my bf and I both liked it so much, we chugged whatever was left in our cups down before going home! Ambiance is warm, casual, plenty of half booth seats. Service was super attentive (my water glass never got less than half full), and the check and leftover boxes came quickly, as soon as we needed them. I was impressed with how on top of it they were! I'm so used to having to wait a long time or wave someone down for a to-go box or the check, but that was definitely not the case here. Overall, would be interested in trying again! And my bf and I joked about asking for a cup of water to go next time haha.
