This little hole in the wall is a good place to get curry Katsu in Utah. There's a variety of Katsu dishes. Service was great. Dish sizes are huge and I feel you get more for your money. One dish is enough to share. We had the tomahawk katsu which was a big thick hunk of meat. The cabbage salad dressing is so tasty I should've gotten an extra side salad. The tempura has Katsu breading on the shrimp. Definitely going back.

This place is definitely a hole in a wall, Japanese style katsu chicken. The chicken itself is pretty thin and not super flavorful. I got the katsu chicken with the curry and with the curry it was pretty good! Very large portion for a decent price. The service was ok, just one person considering it was 6 tables total that's fair, but more of a 'let me know if you need anything, I'll be in the back' situation. Overall- not bad, not great

Katsu City had some of the crispiest Katsu ever!! The curry was so good and the prices aren't bad at all. Below is the King Katsu, big enough for two people. The service was quick, small restaurant but my boyfriend and I were sat fairly quickly! The ambiance is small and intimate, but perfect to enjoy good food.

Nicely done with all the katsu. You know when a restaurant only offers a handful items in the menu, this place is exactly that. We had 3 different types of katsu, tenderloin, cheese and tomahawk katsu (pork chops with the bone still on). They're crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. The cheese katsu are thinly sliced pork acts like a spoon and gently hold the gooey delicate cheese in the center. Perfect balance. Tenderloin is just like the name suggested: tender. I would like to try the king! It's as big as the plate!!

Large and delicious portions that look exactly like the menu! We even brought leftovers home. Thank you for the food!

AMAZING!! Best Katsu I have ever had!! We showed up at noon on a Saturday and it was empty. By the time we left nearly every table had filled! I was very impressed with the wide range of their katsu menu! Each dish comes with miso soup, kimchi, and pickled veggies. I really enjoyed the tenderloin, the meat was nice and juicy and the panko breading was incredibly crispy! The fries were fresh and hot! Great appetizer to snack on while they freshly fry your katsu :)

Welcoming and friendly service. There are maybe about a dozen tables in the dining area. The menu is fairly basic, the food was unbelievably delicious. I feel so lucky to live close to Katsu City. Katsu Curry is my current obsession. I ordered the King Katsu and my husband ordered the Spicy Pork Bulgogi. I like the Bulgogi generally when I have had Bulgogi, it has been beef the pork made for an interesting change. I'm pretty sensitive, but it was not too spicy for me. The King Katsu lives up to its name. The portion was huge I was super excited and hungry so I thought I could eat it all but I could not. I ended up having to take leftovers. The miso soup had fantastic flavor. The rice was cooked perfectly and was also super yummy. A fresh and crunchy cabbage salad accompanied the Katsu and the rice. The cabbage had a sesame dressing that I really enjoyed the entrées. Also comes with 2 sides of Banchan that I liked and appreciated. The food was ready fast and the price is respectable. Thank you for the delicious food!

We have always enjoyed Katsu City! They make the crispiest katsu and delicious sauces. I love to get the king katsu, it's ginormous. Quick service and cozy space.

Food took a while to make it to our table but the flavor and crunch is there, so delicious! I would come back again and get the tenderloin katsu, it's just so good. Portion is quite big for me so I would order 1.5 dishes to share next time instead of 2 entrees.

Delicious! Great food and the value is good. Service is quick, ambiance is nothing fancy but lets be real you're just there for the katsu

This place was a random stop for us for dinner, and it turned out amazing! We were seated right away, served so quickly and had the most delicious authentic Korean katsu! This place was so good that we were tempted to not leave a review so it wouldn't get too busy later

Came to get lunch on a rainy day and it did not disappoint. The katsu was cooked to perfection and had an amazing crisp on every bite. I've been on the hunt for good ttekbokki here in Utah and this one is by far my favorite! The sauce was spicy and sweet. It was thick enough to cover each rice cake and came with sausage + fish cakes.

The food is delicious and service is fantastic. The space is small so they will probably need to expand once everyone discovers this place.

Came in for dinner with a party of four and had a great experience overall. We ordered the crispy fried calamari, pork gyozas, and five rolls: the Tsunami, the Spicy Masa, the Vegas, the Jenny, and the Cobacabana. My favorite by a good margin was the Spicy Masa. The habanero sauce is spicy-delicious, with real heat but enough flavor that you keep going back for another bite. The Vegas and Tsunami rolls are crowd-pleasers, and the pork gyozas are a solid starter to share. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal, no complaints there. The atmosphere is where I'd push them to level up. The decor is simple and modern, which is fine, but it doesn't create much of a mood, and the dining room gets loud fast. If you're hoping for a quiet, intimate dinner, this probably isn't the spot. For a casual night out with friends or family, though, the energy works. One tip: get a reservation, especially on weekends. Walk-ins can be rough. We skipped drinks and dessert and still landed at around $165, so it's not a cheap night out, but the quality justified the price.

We came on a Saturday around 2:30pm and were able to still get the lunch combo deal (11-3). My bf ordered their sweet and sour chicken lunch combo and literally said it was the best sweet and sour chicken he's ever had (!!). It also only cost $11.90, which - in this economy?? - feels unheard of! I got the fried pork in soy sauce which more resembles braised pork belly with a sweet ginger soy sauce. Super super good, and the two other friends that I've brought here both liked my dish better than theirs ;) My one complaint is that it's just meat. I wish it came with some bok choy or some other veggies to help balance it out! You may also need to request a side of rice since it doesn't come with. We came again a week later because my bf was craving their sweet and sour chicken again (lol) and weirdly the Mr. Feng's menu wasn't provided, just the Noodle and Dumpling one, so we couldn't get the lunch special. I'm not sure if that was a mistake or if they're getting rid of Mr. Feng's completely and replacing it with Noodle and Dumpling? :( My bf got the sweet and sour entree and said it was still good, but the chicken wasn't as crispy. I opted for the general tso's chicken which was really yummy but also really spicy. Idk if they accidentally chopped up some spicy peppers instead of bell peppers, but I was definitely struggling, and I can handle heat! As for service, you may be waiting a while (especially at the front desk since their bell doesn't work lol). It feels like an authentic Chinese restaurant, but that being said their service is possibly more attentive than expected. The waiter we had both times was such a sweet man and was trying his best despite it being busy. My bf and I both fell in love with him, and we secretly joke that he's my bf's new best friend haha. Ambiance is honestly fairly dingy lol but you should go for their good quality food rather than their atmosphere. You'll find your utensils and napkins at the table. Next time I plan to try their egg and tomato or their fried intestines, which I saw on their noodle and dumpling menu!

Or from what I understand, it's one restaurant that was just revamped. On maps it says Mr. Feng's, but then there's also another business called Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodle, but then when you drive to the physical location I saw another name called Dumplings something. Super confusing! The front door to Mr. Feng's was also locked, so you have to go around the side (where the parking lot is located) to enter. Anyways, I only saw one waiter during my experience and he was great! He was super charismatic and friendly. Again, some confusion with the menu occurred and he tried his best to explain. It sounds like there's an authentic menu and then a more Americanized menu selection. I got the spicy beef noodle soup, and my friends got the sweet and sour chicken and spicy Szechuan chicken. Overall, nothing spectacular to report. My dish was not spicy at all, but it had flavor. The beef was a bit chewy, but it tasted alright. However, it was reported that the sweet and sour chicken was bland, and the Szechuan chicken was both bland and dry. I'm sad we didn't have a better experience because it seems like an authentic family owned business. The ambiance gives hole in the wall, but just wish our food tasted better!
