Not sure I'd go back. The sushi was not bad, tasted fresh. But the sashimi was not worth the $20. I've had far better for almost the same price at other places. But the short rolls, long rolls, and hand rolls are good for their price $5-$10 and I'd go back for those. Server was friendly as well, ambiance is pretty chill. read more

I wasn't able to get the name of the manager but in this sushi restaurant , there is a manager women , whose been picking up the phone since yesterday. She has the worst attitude ever! She should have more patience, talk nicely to costumers. No costumer is going to take that shit I am not being exaggerated or any of that. This is my favorite sushi spot with my dad. Each time we go we get the "All you can eat" sushi special. Each time my father and I go to Simply Sushi we KNOW we are ordering the yellowtail sashimi (recommended to us by one of the sushi artists), it seems like it has a lemon sauce infused in the rice (I'm drooling already). My dad and I always leave looking like Violet from Willy Wonka. Each time I go in, it's very clean. The staff doesn't judge us when we have ordered PAST a concerning amount of rolls, so that's a plus. All jokes aside, this is our favorite sushi place and I think everyone should try it. Ordered a Playboy, Park City, and Shrimp Tempura roll. The rolls tasted just okay, nothing to write home about. My biggest complaint was the portion sizes.. considering they're under the menu as "long rolls" these rolls are TINY! They fit all 3 of my rolls in the same size takeout container that would typically hold 1 roll from other restaurants. When I arrived to pickup I laughed and commented how small they were and the server politely apologized and said this is the normal size. For $15.95 during the lunch hour, this place offers sushi buffet from their menu. It's pretty decent is you're looking to explore the thought of trying sushi for the first time and lots of veggie rolls. My personal favorites are the Spicy Upside Down Shrimp and the Simply Tuna nigiris. For dinner, they still offer the buffet but this includes the back of the menu for $22.95. There's a bigger selection but choose wisely. Most of the rolls are long rolls and if you happen to not like it, you must find room in your tummy or a place to hide it on your plate because they will charge you for wasting food. I used to come here all the time for Edgar because he'd always take care of me. But now that he doesn't work here, the new guys are alright. It is pretty dead here for the lunch hour and I'm sitting at the bar waiting for my rolls/sushi concoctions. Maybe it's time to find a new sushi place... read more

Simply put: Some of Simply Sushi's rolls are good and some are just ok. We've tasted better Vegas rolls (not worth $11), the Sunshine roll was good, the fish and chips were ok (but I guess you get what you pay for for $6). If you were wondering, a hand roll is basically the fish and rice wrapped in seaweed that you can pick up and eat with your hands. They're yummy, but it's too little of food for $6. This is the hardest review I've ever had to write, and to be honest I am probably being generous with three stars. We have been fans of simply sushi for years! Been waiting patiently to go back for our "Endless". When we arrived we were informed that they are no longer doing Endless Sushi, they haven't for a year. So we ordered our first round of sushi rolls, enjoyed them and waited probably for 15 minutes after completely finishing with no one checking on us and then our waitress brought us the bill, we informed her we weren't quite finished and would like to order more. After another 20 minutes we still didn't have our next round of sushi rolls, the place wasn't that busy and everyone around us was being served. Once it was going on 30 minutes waiting for just a couple more rolls to be served we finally decided we would ask for our check and leave. This is my first time to Simply Sushi. It was delicious. I don't get it go out for sushi very often. I took my team for work. two of the message yesterday. We ordered a lot of different roles. The rainbow roll, the Playboy roll, the Las Vegas roll and a couple Bees Knees. That was a awesome roll. We also ordered a firecracker roll and that was my other favorite. All of them tasted exactly how they were described on the menu. They're very fresh. One of the people I was with orderex the edamame. I tried some and it was delicious. In service leverage. Wait a couple questions and she wasn't able to answer their questions. Luckily the menu was very descriptive. Not sure why this place has such bad reviews. The sushi is good. It's fair priced. Rolls starting from $4 to $10 and hand rolls like $5. Haven't tried their all you can eat but it's about $17 which sounds convenient if you plan on eating more than 3 rolls at $10 a piece. My favorite roll is the Zen roll. I love the sushi here, it is the only sushi place I really enjoy because there are so many rolls that I enjoy. The Bees Knees is my favorite . The staff has always been super friendly towards us. I think I set my expectations too high for this place. I'm not exactly a Sushi Snob and was looking for a little variety of sushi for a good price. The price I got, the variety I did not. The selection of fish wasn't impressive but I can work within the parameters of a few kinds of fish. The good: I liked the Mango Tango roll. Very original and added a flair to the menu. The price was reasonable but high for the quality of sushi. The bad: Crab with a "K." Didn't find anything in my order with real crab in it. Limited selection of raw fish in the rolls. No Spider Roll. LOVE me some Spider roll. The rice had the consistency of Uncle Ben's. The ugly: Worst Unagi I have ever had. Cold, fatty, and tasted like it died of old age. Tuna was not fresh. I looked for the "Starkist" label on the Maguro. I don't think I'll be going back any time soon. Not for the lack of freshness (everybody has a bad day) but for the lack of selection. All you can eat sushi. That's a lot of sushi. The sushi is mediocre at best. The rice was kind of weird, which is odd for a sushi place. I think they had made it in the morning and it was just dried out from being there all day. When we went it was very cold and the whole front of the restaurant is a giant glass wall. Whenever the door opened we absolutely froze to death. Everyone around had similar experiences and was tightly bundled in their coats to keep warm. This place is all about maximum profitability. The ingredients are all lower grade with nothing really creating a wow factor or any pizazz. That makes the food unremarkable. This place is rated highly because you can get tons of sushi for not very much money, and that's okay. If you have a horde to feed, then this is your place. As for me, I prefer higher quality and more innovative sushi. I can't bring myself to give this place three stars. read more

I love this restaurant. I was never much of a sushi fan, came here and I love it! I still don't eat the raw fish stuff, but they are amazing, and have an all you can eat option. We don't eat enough to get the all you can eat, but 3 rolls does the 2 of us just fine :) LOVE the baja, San Francisco, and the Coconut. SO WONDERFUL! Sat at the bar last time and the rolls were fast and the cooked stuff was warm! Awesome service! Just know, if you do the all you can eat and don't think you have eaten enough to justify the all you can eat, let the server know to keep track of the rolls so you can pay ala carte. Or if you plan on ala carte, and eat way more than the all you can eat price, they can change that too!
