We ordered Laarb, Pumpkin Curry, Tom Ka, Satay, Chicken Wings, Pad Thai, and the papaya salad platter. My only note to the staff is to perhaps include a photo of the papaya salad platter. We thought it would just be a larger portion of the salad, but it had a smattering of different things. All great! Just not what we expected. Maybe that's standard for Thai fare and we just didn't know it? Service: the issues spoken of with being rushed were completely absent for this trip. We actually accidentally overstayed our welcome past closing! I didn't expect them to close at 8:15 on Saturday, but that is a-okay with me. A Solid Find for Thai in the Valley. Pleasantly surprised by this place. For a strip mall spot, the ambiance is nicer than you'd expect, the prices are fair, and most importantly, the food delivers. We started with the Satay Chicken, which comes as a generous four-skewer portion with an excellent peanut sauce. My one note: the chicken itself was a bit over-fried for my taste, but the sauce made up for it. The Pad Thai was well-balanced and flavorful, exactly what you want from a Thai staple. This place came highly recommended and it lived up to all expectations. This is a small place that would have a hard time seating a party of more than 6. Based on the business I saw, they could easily fill up a restaurant twice the size. The establishment was clean and service was prompt. The chicken wings were perfectly crispy with a lovely light dipping sauce. The Tom Ka was delicious, although a bit difficult to serve out of the tureen. Every time we come to Tuk tuks is delicious! We've been here multiple times for lunch and have gotten the ginger mushroom pork several times, the tempura vegetable appetizer which is huge, and everything is made fresh to order and smells and tastes so good. All the servers we've had are friendly and helpful and despite coming at lunch the wait was really reasonable each time we've come. The parking lot is sprawling. Overall highly recommend! read more

It was packaged well and was still hot when it arrived. I ordered drunken noodles with chicken, spicy level 2 since this was one of the more popular items according to Uber Eats. I also ordered a soda. This meal came with noodles, chicken, bell peppers, onion, broccoli, mushrooms, and whole basil leaves. This food was so flavorful! Although not inexpensive by any means, the experience and the portion size made it truly a value dining experience...event though we left with a $80 tab (including a tip for Ronny who did a wonderful job waiting on us.) Ended up staying much longer in Draper than expected as I caught COVID on my trip. I'm at the tale end of it and to thank my friend for generously putting up with me, I ordered dinner in. Based on some of the yelp reviews I saw, thought I'd take a change on Tuk Tuk. It was 4pm and the restaurant opens at 5 yet I was still able to place an order and have it delivered by 5:45. So easy! We both ordered Pad This. I had mild spice (1) and she had hot (4 of 5). She said here could have been more spicy meanwhile I thought mine was very spicy but not too spice = the joy of different palates. The portion was generous and really hit the spot (although for me, just a bit too much carrots). I also ordered Tom Ka Soup with chicken, a favorite when I'm sick. It did not disappoint (although I did expect a larger portion). Pricing was high ($18/ entree Pad Thai) but considering prices are going up overall they could be in line with others here. Overall the food was yummy - if I lived here I could see being a regular (my friend might be!). read more

This place is really good. I've eaten here 10+ times and food quality is consistent and flavor is there. I've brought larger groups here and they can seat us. If you're coming with 8+ I would recommend 11:30 arrival for best seating. I'm always a yellow curry with chicken fan and it's amazing but recently got turned on to the Kao Soi and it's delicious. I always come here because it's some of the best Thai/lao food you can find in the area. Their flavors are rich and I love that they aren't afraid of spice if you ask for it. I ordered the chicken wings which were so crispy and marinated to perfection. Also ordered a few salads including the Nam khao which is a crispy rice salad and the chicken laarb. The laarb was a standout due to the flavor of the sauce. They also serve these salads with some sticky rice which brings me back to my childhood. Today I am dining in! Here with a couple friends who has a solid Thai spot they love. I'm a little nervous because I want them to like Tuk Tuk too. I started with the tempura veggies. The presentation is beautiful! It's like a fritti... light, fresh, so very tasty and lithe... the dipping sauce has is fragrant and the perfect amount of fish sauce. This is not he traditional tempura veggies. This dish was a pleasant surprise. The chicken wing appetizer was a 5/5, the coconut shrimp was hot and 5/5 too. My friend is a picky eater and she had great praise for the Pad Thai noodles with chicken. This morning I am having the Mango Salad for breakfast. When I ordered it I asked for a 2/5 for the spice level. The awesome server cautioned me that the peppers are spicy so may need to shift down on the spice level. I ordered a level 1 and WOW!!!! Level one is like a 3 at other places. Beware... lol The service here is amazing. The food servers have their area of responsibility but work together to take care of the patrons. Then there was a third person checking in on water refills. Very nice people work here. This is what I love about Tuk Tuk Draper location, my second time here and I have a peaceful experience. There was the primary server, Wan. We asked for a bunch of to go containers and she offered to pack our food and smiled the whole time and was very engaging. She suggested an air fryer to revive the crisp on the tempura vegetables... I am having those for breakfast too and Wan was right. Thank you. The flavors here were delicious and strong. I ordered the Thai orange chicken as well as pineapple rice (served in a sliced pineapple) and it was delicious. I ended up topping the rice with the chicken into a Frankenstein creation that was totally scrumptious! I'm subtracting a star because although we were there on a Saturday night and the place was overcrowded (about 12 people eating by the door to get seated, which caused them to end up standing right next to our table as we were trying to eat), there were three different servers putting pressure on us to leave and asking us to pay. The problem was that we were waiting on a box to be given to us to take out leftovers. I understand flipping tables but three different people putting a credit card machine in front of me within 3-4 minutes is just annoying. I recommend going on a weekday to avoid this. read more

You have no idea how happy I am now that Tuk Tuk's has a location in Draper. This place is doing Thai-fusion right! Everything on their menu is down right delicious. You really can't go wrong! I cannot say enough good things about the Khao Piek Sen-- asian chicken noodle soup. Just like the American classic, it fills the soul. Although I didn't get it on my last visit (which I absolutely regret) I think their Mango Sticky Rice is the best I've ever had. The purple rice really elevates the flavor and it's hard to resist. The satay chicken was dry, too dry, and it didn't come with a red onion sweet vinegar dip which was disappointing, and everything else we ordered was mediocre (pad Thai was good, a little on the sweet side and noodles slightly overcooked but still delicious) or too overly seasoned with sauce.
