I'm officially a regular. I come here as often as I crave good soup. TomYum Kai is my favorite soup, and Thai Mango does a great job and preparing it. I alternate between chicken and tofu. Went in for lunch on a Monday. Love the atmosphere and cleanliness of the space. The food didn't take long and the server was so friendly. We got family style pad Thai and an order of pineapple rice, as well as potstickers for an appetizer. The pricing on the menu was great, the food was also great. I did feel that there was not enough beef in our pad Thai and the beef that was in it was kinda over cooked, not to mention it was a smaller portion than our rice for some reason. The chicken in our pineapple rice felt just a tiny bit dry but it was delicious rice nonetheless. We chose a level 2 spicy. I think higher would have been too much. The service here was extremely kid friendly! They brought our daughter a plastic plate and utensils and warned about dishes they thought might be too spicy. The food was very good. Every month, my coworkers and I pick a spot to meet for a lunch together. This has been great, not only for building relationships with the team, but also for finding new spots to eat! I had never heard of Thai Mango before and it's probably not somewhere I would've visited otherwise. Although, I am happy to report that I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I carpooled with one of my coworkers for this lunch and we had a bit of trouble trying to find it. We had to drive through a few parking lots and then it was off to the side. This is probably more of a problem with mapping systems, than it is with the business itself...let's be honest. We walked in to a cute little restaurant with all kinds of natural lighting. There is not a whole lot of space for a large group, but on this particular day, there was only six of us. The service was absolutely amazing. Our server was so quick to get us everything we needed and even offered stuff without us having to ask. One of my colleagues brought her daughter and the server immediately asked if she would like a high chair. The refills were quick throughout our time there and the food came out pretty quickly as well. I really loved my meal. I thought the chicken was cooked perfectly and the peppers were a delicious touch. The sauce really sealed the seal and I loved that there was such an abundance of sauce all over the food. My meal came with a side of rice and the side of rice was great too. We got orders of potstickers for the table and those were really delicious! All in all, I don't think Thai Mango gets enough credit for how amazing they are. We all really had a solid experience, all around. The place is well-furnished and is great for gatherings or date nights. Super friendly server and was patient and sweet. Not cheap, to be honest, but nothing crazy. We loved our flat noodles, and it was delicious and flavorful. Assorted appetizers were decent, but the skewers were too tough. Fresh spring roll warps were extremely chewy, and I do not recommend that. The sauces were excellent. Mango sticky rice was overly sweet. The mango itself was great, but the rice was surprisingly hard. It was around $8, and it was totally a waste of money. It was so hard to chew, and we couldn't eat it, so we left it there. Overall, it's a decent place with great service. Some of the menu items were great, and some were not worth it. I would not recommend the mango sticky rice at all. read more

(2) Shrimp Salad: It is so light and refreshing with the lime sauce. We also ordered a "3" spicy level, a bit spicy (but we love it!) (3) Pad Kee Mao (Spicy): We ordered the pork version. OMG, this is so good. We just can't stop eating them. Also it is spicy with 3 level. (4) Pad Bai Grapow (Spicy): This has to be the best Pad Bai Grapow we had ever. Very flavorful. Lots of basil and hot pepper. Service-wise, it is amazing! We even had an extra treat (2 cupcakes) from the owner since it is Valentine's day! It wasn't good Thai food and I was disappointed in how my food was prepared. The Pad Thai was soggy and tasteless and the veggies in our curry were not flavorful and tough. Little hidden gem, with the nicest people serving you. We walked in only to see one other party in the restaurant. I immediately thought, uh oh, is this a bad sign? No. No it's not a bad sign. The food was exceptional, authentic, and delicious. Our sweet waitress was so gracious. We order massaman curry, pumpkin curry, stir-fried seafood, Pad Thai with shrimp, and pineapple fried rice with shrimp, egg rolls, and fried shrimp appetizer. The curries are amazing, great depth of flavor. Our favorite was the pumpkin. The pad Thai and fried rice were excellent. My kids loved the fried shrimp appetizer. The only things that fell short were the egg rolls, very little substance and a little too greasy. The stir-fried seafood was not very good, little bits of rubbery seafood. Pass on that. After an afternoon of painting walls my helpers were hungry. I said pick out a place that is open and I will go pick up the food since I wasn't painting and I was out anyway. Of course with so many options to choose from and so many different painting palettes they finally decided to eat here. This is not my first choice but I want to be a team player so off I go to pick up the meals. We called ahead so that our order would be ready when we got there. We ordered Pad Thai, Beef Broccoli, Egg Rolls, Fried Rice and Red Curry, hot level 2, with Steamed Rice. The bill came to $82.00 and change. We had to wait a few minutes for our order to be prepared which was delivered right up to our car window, no getting out of the car for food exchange. After we got home, and placed everything on the table, it was all man for himself. Hence I didn't get a picture before we started eating. I ordered the red curry, with beef, which came with steamed rice. Let's start with the rice...dried out, crunchy, flavorless rice. (Just like Minute Rice, Not Good.) During this pandemic I'm sure they don't want to throw out their rice but my word you really shouldn't serve this sub-par variety. The Red Curry lacked flavor, and wasn't spicy. This Red Curry didn't have all of the vegetables in my take out that was listed on the menu. The meat which I choose beef was something other than the beef I'm used to. Cut into small paper thin peaces. Weird consistency, and again no flavor. Very disappointed. I tried some of the Beef Broccoli, this was worse than the curry. It had some type of thick soy sauce. It was so salty and sweet I couldn't eat it. I ended up just eating something out of my fridge and thought that it was a waste of money for the quality of food. read more

Stopped here with the family after a hike. It might be one of our new favorite Thai places! Service was super friendly and attentive enough, without being in your face. The food was all delicious! My favorite was the Massaman curry (got beef, which worked, but think I would've preferred chicken or pork). Loved the pumpkin curry, mango salad with shrimp, pork drunken noodles. Also one of my kids wanted to try the Thai style pho, but we are used to Vietnamese pho, so honestly had low expectations. It was actually pretty good and would still hit the spot if you were craving pho, and my kids really loved it. The Thai tea is delicious and the perfect thing to wash down any spice. During our visit, we decided we are going on a quest to find truly good Thai food in SLC. This was average. The server was nice but inexperienced and uninfomative. I can deal with both if she had found answers instead of saying she didn't know. The ambiance is sparce and not place for a romantic date. We stared with the soup: Tom Yum Kai with fried tofu. It was very vinegary but balanced enough to be tasty. Unfortunately, there was not even a hint of lemongrass as the vinegar overtook anything else. We like spice, so we ordered two dishes that said they were spicy: Pad Bai Grapow with pork and Pad Kee Mao with chicken. In the Pad Bai Grapow, the pork was ground pork, and it actually had a slight sweetness to it, but it was not spicy. The server told us the Pad Kee Mao was the savory option to the sweeter Pad Thai. Someone forgot to tell the chef. It, too, was sweet and not spicy. We asked for some spicy sauce, and they brought out spicy chili oil. Both these dishes were good. What got us was that they both tasted the same. It was like it was the same sauce. And the Jasmine rice was sticky and didn't taste like Jasmine. I actually asked if it was Jasmine. From cooking at home, I learned that not all Jasmine rice is created equal. There are high-quality rices that have distinctive Jasmine flavor and cheaper rices that do not. Clearly, they use the latter. That said, prices were reasonable. Bottom line, I would try them for lunch and try the curries, but otherwise, we will be on the hunt for good Thai. read more

Found this place during our ski trip to Utah. It's a clean albeit sterile appearing establishment, but the food was good but not outstanding. We came here, because it was one of the high-ranking Thai places. We weren't disappointed, but wasn't memorable as well. Had the Penang Chicken Curry dish, which could have been spicier, but then again, I wasn't really asked about how spicy I wanted it to be. Will likely try another Thai restaurant the next time, but this place wasn't bad by any means. read more
