This is a darling restaurant in the strip mall of the Draper Peaks shopping district. I love the local, small business feel to it. The decor is beautiful and inviting and the space is on the smaller side, but laid out nicely. It does get a bit loud in there-would be nice if some adjustments could be made to absorb some of the sound. Otherwise, it's quite comfortable. My date and I both enjoyed our meals-glass noodles and pad see ew. Since we are self-declared spice weenies, we opted for extremely mild, and maybe next time I'd bump it up just a tiny bit. We were there on a fairly busy Friday night and I felt bad for the one server who was rushing around trying to keep up with everyone. Great Thai place in Draper! We came in on a Saturday night and were able to be seated right away. It's a really cute little spot and the service was really good. They were on top of everything! We ordered the chicken satay, drunken noodles and beef laab. All were incredible! The spice is spicy though so beware. I got the a veggie spring rolls and veggie stir fry with tofu on a level 2 of 5 for spice. The food is very fresh and the stir fry spice level perfect for my pallet. The spring rolls are crispy and fresh and the peanut sauce was warm and accompanied the appetizer beautifully. Came in about fourty minutes before they closed, as we walked in we were told they were not taking order's anymore and then she walked away and grabbed the male working and he came over and told us he wasn't seating people anymore but they were taking Togo orders ?... which to me makes no sense haha, you're still dirtying dishes in the back, there were only two tables sitting down and it was 40-45 minutes till closing so I'm confused as to why we couldn't of been seated ? We came here as a family before some holiday shopping and we LOVED it. It was our first time and I found this place on the way using Yelp. The staff was so lovely, friendly and accommodating. The interior was clean and beautiful. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. We tried the yellow curry with both chicken and tofu. Both were great. The Tom kha gai was comforting. Finally! We found a 5 star Thai restaurant in Draper! We came in for date night and were lucky enough to be seated right away, despite how busy it was. We ordered the satay chicken skewers as our appetiser and then had the yellow curry, pad see ew, Thai fried rice, and cashew pineapple stir fry for mains. I also had a boba milk tea. The food was delicious. You choose your own spice level for each dish (from 0-5) and everything tasted perfect and had the best flavours. We went in on a weeknight and stood there waiting for a table for about 1 hour without the server talking to us. People kept coming in and leaving because it was taking too long but I could see they were a little busy with one table. The server eventually came to us saying he just couldn't seat us and that he was too busy. So we never got to try it. I think this wasn't handled well and either need better staffing or management. This place was really disappointing. I was excited for it and really wanted it to be good but it wasn't. We ordered dinner on a Thursday night at 4:30. It was an online to go order, I get it, that's risky. We ordered pad Thai, Drunken noodles and honey duck. They refunded us the Drunken Noodles because they "ran out". When I asked them what they meant they did not clarify and just repeated we are out of drunken noodles. What Thai place runs out of a menu item at 5 on a Thursday night? When we got the food home and started eating, there were whole stalks of green onions, not chopped at all. Also, full cloves of garlic. That's going to ruin anyone's taste buds, a full chunk of garlic right in the mouth. Couldn't taste much else after biting into that. And there were multiple full I chopped cloves. Some of the best Thai food I have had in Utah!! Truly such a great culinary experience. I ordered the Crispy Duck Curry special, while my husband had the Pork Pad Thai. Both of which were absolutely delicious. The staff are all so nice and attentive when able. It was very busy on a Saturday night (which is to be expected) so it took a bit to get my side of rice, a box, and the bill at the end. But overall it was an enjoyable experience. We just had the most incredible experience with one of the managers, a woman named Wan. We wanted boba but sadly they were sold out. Luckily wan came to the rescue. She knows the owner of the boba place a few doors down and called them to order our boba then went and got it for us and delivered it to our table during our meal. 10/10 service the best I've ever seen. According to the owner, this express style restaurant is the smallest of his Resturaunts and he Is experimenting with this smaller style featuring the fan favorites from his other Restaurants. Normally this place is so good! The service can be slow but it makes it worth it. The food is fresh and good. Tonight was not great. I ordered food through their website for pick up at 5:50p. I received a confirmation on their website and a text message to pick up the food at 6:40p. I show up, give my name and there is no order for me. I gave my order number, showed them that I ordered through their website with the correct address. The server went back 3 times, kept telling me that there was no order and couldn't find my ticket. Was not helpful and she didn't tell me anything. They were so busy, tables looking annoyed at not getting food. I went and sat at the front trying to give them a few minutes to see if they could find my order or atleast tell me they were working on it. After waiting another 10 minutes, I went to ask about my order again. After it was apparent that I was going to get no help and no food, I asked for a refund or contact information for a manager. She told me there was no manager. She was almost dismissive of me. I asked for her to atleast get my name and phone number so that when I called that my information would be down. After a long wait, no food, no help I am now out $45 and having to hound someone down to get a refund. read more
