Peanut Sauce

The worst curry and peanut sauce we've ever had. The curry tasted like they dumped a bottle of curry seasoning in and half a bottle of fish sauce. The peanut sauce looks like a mix between some sort of gravy and applesauce. The worst Thai food we've had in our lives. Some of the worst food period we've had in our lives.

Thai House Cuisine surprised me in a couple of ways... First, the food was better than I was expecting. Not necessarily top-of-the-line Thai food, but not bad. The pad Thai is probably the sweetest I've ever had. (Again, not necessarily a bad thing, but not a good thing either.) The pineapple curry was flavorful and had a subtle element of heat. But the staff was a bit off-putting to me. I kid you not, after being seated for less than 2 minutes they asked if we were ready to order... The vibe was just off. It seems like you either love or hate this place. For me, I think I'll just log it under, "tried it once and didn't hate it but didn't like it enough to go back."

Good portions for the price! Ordered the pad thai, massaman and panang curry - all with chicken. & the pork spring rolls. Yum! About $18 a person with all of this split. The place is very quiet as said in other reviews, but we didn't mind.

Service was good. There are also a lot of options on the menu. They offer a dinner item that has an entire, soup and side. Location is cute and quaint. The pad thai was very sweet and the paste they used was pretty strong which was not my favorite. I'd suggest trying other options on the menu.

Lunch for two

Thai food in a cute little house but whoever gave this a $ rating must throw down some big bucks on a regular basis. No way is this a cheap place to eat...even for lunch. A lunch special will run you $12 inc tax and tip. For cocktail-sauce sized cups of soup, two bowls of your choice of two entrees, a cup of rice and either a flattened piece of fried chicken "satay" or a large veggie spring roll, you're not really getting your money's worth. If it weren't for the spring roll and rice, I'd still be hungry. That little bowl of sweet n sour chicken had very little chicken and a whole lot of sauce. Everything tasted great but we wished it was heavier on the protein and veggie side of things. As for the service, perhaps she was having a bad day but not only did our server not smile or look us in the eye but she acted as if she had better things to do than grab us a pair of chopsticks and some napkins.

Ordered To-go and got home with this. Um, where's the food? Half containers for $15?!? An absolute joke. Find a better Thai place that actually gives you food.

Wasn't impressed can't really judge the food because there wasn't much there. I've finished uneaten kids meals and felt more full than the portion sizes provided here. Paid $14 here and had to grab an actual lunch afterwards. Won't come here again.

So I've heard great things about this place and thought I would go check it out. It's pretty cool that it's in a house type place. The inside is pretty roomy but some tables are close together. It was a bit cold by the front entrance too. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating and patient. They even allowed us to get some of the egg rolls with meat. However, the veggies rolls were better! The gyosa was was pretty good and flavorful. It was slightly more crunchy than I like though. The curry was really good and there was plenty of rice for it too! I really liked the vegetables in it because they tasted really fresh. This was surprising to me and I really liked it. I would come back here just because of the taste of the vegetables in the curry for sure!

Love the homey feel! The service was amazing and fast. Food was fresh and taste great. We had the orange chicken, fried rice and the drunken noodles. It was delicious, would definitely recommend and go back.

Pad Khing. For $14 I'm super bummed.

I stopped going here because it's expensive but I love the shrimp rolls and wanted some. I got a Pad King too. I spent $25 and this is the container that I got. It's still good but so not a full order and no broth. Bummed.

Pad Thai was really sweet. Not my cup of tea. It tasted like caramel. The service is good.

This restaurant is so good. Every single thing that I try is perfect. I eat a lot of Thai food. I…read morehave never been to Thailand, but I've consumed a lot of food from Thai restaurants. I will say that Curry do very slightly, but not drastically so it's easy to eat at Thai places because they usually turn out good. However, this one has literally perfected the flavors. The food comes out fairly quickly for what you're ordering. "Gale" who is always the woman behind the desk ordering is the sweetest most tender and extremely positively inviting person you could ever meet. She is that (Mom) everyone wishes they had. She will warm your children's hearts. I usually always get a mango chicken curry or the avocado Penang curry, but everything I've tried is delicious. I just prefer spicy and fruity put together. My friend orders the noodle bowl and says it's amazing and it's so good that he literally will not try anything else. Haha. Their mango sticky rice is perfect! My kids crave it and I actually let them get it because they put hardly any added sugar in it. The ambience is very much very open and kind of feels like you're in a high school cafeteria. There's no closed off spaces for privacy. the tables are pretty far away from each other so there's plenty of room to pull your chair back as far as you want and not worry about knocking anybody out. They do have one outdoor picnic table that seats about four adult adults which is really cute on a nice day when you just wanna be in the sunshine instead of an air-conditioned building. They used to have a drive-through, but I pretty sure she closed the drive-through, but it is just as easy to park your car right by the front door and pop down and get your food. If you like things super spicy, they have chili oil and some hot sauce that you can get on the side to add to your dish to adjust the heat, but honestly, they perfectly heat it to what you would expect out of a curry and I like spice a lot being from the South. It does not make my nose run or my eyes water. It is just enough spicy to please the pallet and the heart. This place is almost never packed when I go, but I think most people could go here and get to go orders. When you get a to go order, you get a pretty big size bowl of curry and your rice comes in one of those little Chinese takeout containers so crammed packed that when you unfold it it triples in size. One curry is enough to feed me for 2 to 3 meals. The portions are enough for a really large man to get full. When I order a curry and a dessert, I usually wait about 10-15 minutes tops to get my food. When the restaurant is full, there have been times I waited 20 to 30 minutes to get my food, but I don't mind. I love the food and love the way service is handled. By the way, they do speak Thai so if you speak Thai you could order in that language.

We visited Tuk Tuk's a few months ago and had a great experience. We tried the pineapple fried…read morerice, coconut shimp, and chicken curry, and all were delicious. The seating is a little odd here (not a great setup for high chairs), but the ambience is very chic, and we enjoyed being in the space almost as much as we enjoyed eating. Our server was kind enough to advise that we shouldn't give our three-year-old daughter any curry (not realizing that she loves spice). It took a little bit of convincing to get her to allow us to order the curry, but it was nice of her to be concerned. (And she was right in terms of the spice levels -- even my mild rice was pretty spicy.) I would definitely come back!

It was obvious they had just come out of the fryer. All of the veggies tasted so good and fresh! Between the 4 of us, we ordered the fried rice, drunken noodles and 2 orders of the pad khee mao stir fry. Two of the people in the group had special requests, and the folks at Tuk Turks were willing to comply. I was one of the people who ordered the phad khee mao stir fry, and it was super tasty. The broth was really good and all the veggies and tofu were super tasty! Our waiter was a kid from the family who owns the restaurant and he was telling us about being in college and several other activities he was involved. Super nice kid and he was definitely part of what made this lunch fun. Would definitely go back again. And again. And again....
