Thai food has recently become my favorite type of food, and I'm always excited to try new places to compare their dishes. This one was recommended by a friend and we met there to catch up on life over a dish of Pad See Ew. It was.....ok. The flavor was pretty bland (I requested mild spice level, but had mistakenly assumed that there would still be flavor. I like flavor, just not heat.) The colors were also bland and uninteresting. However, the service was fast and friendly-I have to give it to them for being on top of their game in that department. I stopped in to this place after driving past it dozens of times and I'm glad I did. It's nice to add another yummy Thai place to the list! I was wanting a little bit of everything, so I was happy to see the lunch specials had egg rolls, an entrée, a small salad, and a side of white rice. The staff seated us immediately and we got the food soon after ordering. Our waters and sodas were kept full and we were well attended. Good ambiance but terrible food. I've had so so Thai food before but this place I won't go to again. The yellow curry was watery and had no heat whatsoever even though I ordered a 3 out of 5 in spiciness and I had a hard time finding the contents of the dish with all of the watery gravy they gave me. I ordered vegetable pad Thai and got shriveled cabbage and barely there veggies. I also ordered the pad see ew which is supposed to be made with dark soy sauce but the noodles were practically white and barely cooked. The portion sizes are individual appetizer sizes. This place is cheaper than most Thai places but that's because you get what you pay for as far as quality of food and portion. Good service but a little pushy. I have not eaten in the restaurant but have gotten takeout multiple times. I am obsessed with the Massaman curry. My husband and I talk about it daily. The lunch portion is a little too small to share but the dinner is enough for two. The potatoes and carrots that come in it are delicious too! Sabaidee has been around for a few years now and has managed to break a rotating business curse in the building. They've got good Thai food, by far the best in the area, and they are one of the better places you can have a sit down meal in Lehi. It's also a perfect spot if you work near Thanksgiving Point and need somewhere to take people that is nicer than fast casual, but not upscale. The Sabaidee Trio is a favorite and is a mix of red, green, and yellow curry. You can also ask for it to be spicy, though even their spiciest feels pretty tame. We try to visit at least a couple of times a month and haven't got tired yet. read more

Ok folks.... This is the only place in northern Utah County aka north of Orem that has AVOCADO CURRY!!!! I am so grateful they exist. It saved this pregnant ladies day. From the moment we walked in, our server looked like we had personally disrupted his peaceful existence just by daring to show up. The tension was so thick you could almost cut it with a spoon--we didn't get knives. The food? Well, if you squint hard enough and imagine real Thai food in your mind, maybe, just maybe, you'd get close to the flavors. But instead, we were served a lukewarm plate of "Is this really Thai?" The satay and spring rolls tasted like it had studied abroad in Thailand for a semester but never really learned the culture, and the Sabaidee Trio seemed like an interpretation of a curry done by someone who's never actually tasted one. I found this place on Yelp and decided to give a try since all the reviews were so high. The place is big with lot of tables, which the day of my visit were mostly empty. The service was average. It took them a few minutes to acknowledge us after I went to the main counter to let them know we were waiting. We ordered immediately after being seated and the food did not took long to arrive. We got three different main dishes to share. All with the same level of spiciness. The Massaman Curry and the Pineapple Curry were ok, not the best nor the worst. On a scale from 1 to 10 I will give them a 5. The level of spiciness was very different on both of them. The portions were on the small size with minimal veggies or meat. In the other hand, the Pho was not my favorite. Don't get me wrong, I ate it all, I was really hungry. But I've had better pho in other places. The next day we were all sick, it was so weird. There wasn't a lot of chicken I wish there was more. Wonton : I've never had wontons like this, there is a veggie inside and the cheese tastes interesting. There are a lot of options for Thai food in Utah and unfortunately this one does not make it high on the list. Have purchased a few times for take out and it is always short. When it comes to spice, you have options, but need to add it in yourself. Portions are extremely small when it comes to Thai, not making it a bang for your buck. read more

This spot is an alright Thai food restaurant, close to Lehi Main Street. We tried a few different things, most of which didn't wow me but were alright. If you aren't a Thai snob you may think it is good, but I would say there are better places around. I was impressed with that mango yellow curry, very flavorful and delicious. The spring rolls weren't anything amazing and the Nom Tak (Beef Waterfall) Salad was not great. I would definitely not recommend that. The building is a nondescript concrete block building that screams steak and potatoes inside, but the food really wasn't too bad. The waitress didn't ask how hot we wanted our food and it all came without any spiciness (which was a fail). We need to remember next time to tell them to increase the spice on our food. When we went, there were families with small children there, which means that they have pressure to keep their food "family friendly". We had a stir fry and a curry and deep fried spring rolls. The stir fry and curry were both good and mildly flavorful. We'd pass on the spring rolls which were supposed to contain glass noodles, carrots and cabbage, and in reality had bland unseasoned cabbage, served with a sweet and sour sauce (a water-like broth also lacking flavor). I think they need to decide if they are a family restaurant serving very mild food or a Thai restaurant serving intensely flavored dishes. Perhaps a name change to Sabaidee Family Thai would cue customers in that this is a family-friendly, modified Thai food. Our server was very nice. read more
