I so badly wanted to like this place because it is close to places I frequently go. Unfortunately, we did not like this place at all. The yellow curry and massaman curry had a very weird texture. There was not a lot of meat and it wasn't very good. The Pad Thai did not taste much like pad thai. The other dishes we ordered were sub par as well according to the people who ate them, I didn't personally try the other dishes, but people were very underwhelmed. I don't like saying I really didn't like some place, but we really didn't like it. We love Thai food and eat it a lot... we will not order from here again. read more

First time here did not disappoint! The service was good. There were two teenagers (male and female) who took care of us and checked on us. The cream cheese crab wontons were super yummy! Loved how much filling they had and the amount of crab in them. The green curry was so good. I was so impressed with the flavor. It had a lot of veggies in it. I do wish there was more protein (chicken). It had only about 5 pieces. I ordered medium heat and it was perfect for me! My husband enjoyed his mild yellow curry as well. This is an interesting one. I'm not a connoisseur of Thai food, but I know when I like something. The food here is delicious, freshly prepared and hot. I could have handled a little more "pop" in the flavor-whether it was just a little bland or could have used more spice, I'm not sure. Service was....odd. There were two people who checked in on us-both were probably 15 years old and it was obvious that they were learning. Kudos to them for starting out and getting their feet wet in the workforce. Pique Thai has a really nice variety of menu items to choose from. Some of my favorite menu items are the Triple C Wontons (full of crab, cream cheese, onions & carrots), Spicy Fried Rice (which is not spicy at all), Massaman Curry, and the Sweet Rice and Mango. I have to say, I have not tried everything on the menu yet. Triple C Wontons are a must order every visit. The dine-in service is great, and the staff is helpful and kind. The ambiance isn't anything romantic, but it's great for lunch or a family dinner. I often order takeout to enjoy at home. read more

We stopped for lunch so we didn't have to go to the grocery store hungry. They did the trick. I especially enjoyed the appetizer sampler. The potstickers get high praise on the reviews I read and they are deserving. They tasted real yummy and they have an excellent crunch to them. The eggroll and spring roll did not do it for me so I would skip that next time. I would order the chicken satay and grilled pork again they were both delicious and satisfying. I love that they give you sticky rice with the appetizer sampler. If you are so inclined you could totally make a meal of this appetizer. I ordered the Kao Soy. Something different that I might not normally get and I was pleasantly surprised. The flavor is good while not being overpowering. I found the noodles that come with the dish to be delightful they had a really great texture. It comes with a nest of fried wontons on top that are cut up into strips. So fun. My husband got the chicken larb. He ate it and liked it but I don't think it was his favorite larb ever. I did not taste it because he likes to get his food super spicy hot and I am weak and cannot handle it. The spicy fried rice was nice and I would order it again I asked our server how spicy it is and she warned it was not very spicy and she was right. If I'm in the neighborhood again in the future and I'm hungry I would definitely give these guys another try. read more

Overall a pretty standard Thai place. We started with the Thai Appetizer Sampler. I thought the Pork Dumplings were the best thing on the plate. The Spring Rolls were not very enjoyable. They didn't have basil or cilantro inside, at least not that I could taste nor much texture and they were loose, so if you tried dipping them in the peanut sauce you'd live most of it stuck there. The egg rolls were also a bit bland. The Satay and Grilled pork were a bit dry and tough. You do get three different sauces with the sampler, a sweet and sour chili sauce, a sweet and sour sauce with peanuts on top and a peanut sauce which they describe as their specialty sauce. So that sampler was somewhat of a lowlight for me. I got Chicken Larb, or Lahb, they spell it one way on the menu and another on their website. It was good. There are a few places where I like this better than Pique's version, but it was fine. I got it at a 10 spicy level and I'd rate their 10 at around a 7. They have some chopped romaine on one side of the plate and the chopped meat and sauce on the other side of the plate. The lime dressing was satisfying but there's nothing that really sets it apart from other Thai restaurants. We also got the Fried Rice which was highly recommended. It was pretty good, but again, nothing to write home about. It seems front of house is made up of mostly disinterested local teens. The service wasn't bad by any means, they did interrupt their phone time to come around and check on things often enough. If I was looking for something to eat in the area I'd be willing to give them another go, but not something I would go out of my way for. read more

Randomly found this place while driving by after spending the morning at Timpanogos Cave. We we're starving and this place had good reviews so we figured we'd give it a try. This place might be decent by Utah standards but in my opinion it wasn't really that great. We ordered a pad thai, pad si ew and pineapple curry. The pad si ew was very under sauced and under seasoned and the noodles still looked white. The curry was super watery and looked almost like soup. At least the food tasted better than it looked... I did like how their menu was set up though. It marks which items are vegan or gluten free which is very helpful Service was ok. It took a while to get the server's attention to come back to take our order since he was just hanging out at the front talking to the other staff. We started out by ordering shrimp spring rolls. Well they came with no shrimp. I would've brushed this off but the last time we came in the same exact thing happened. Even tho we specifically said both times we wanted shrimp spring rolls. Our server nicely said not to worry and she would bring out the ones with shrimp. So the check comes and we split it a few ways, my sister ended up paying for two things of spring rolls...so I went up to the counter and talked to the managers and explained the situation. One younger server came up and rudely asked "well did you eat them both?" I explained they were never taken off the table so some were eaten, but we never ordered them. Well the manager says she can take care of it and tells me I can sit down. So we wait another 20 minutes and at this point we'd already waited about 40 mins for our server to even bring our checks. We were ready to go. I went back up and was told to wait longer because they WERE REVIEWING THE FOOTAGE!!?? I ended up paying for the rest of the bill, not being reimbursed for the spring rolls that I did not order and I will not be bring my business here any more. So unprofessional and rude. read more

Pique Thai is solid. I always really like my food when I go there! All 3 times that I have gone, my food has been warm, flavorful, and enjoyable. My husband and I have ordered fried rice and and different kinds of curry. The fried rice tastes incredible!! It's the kind of food that you aren't sure that you want, but then you taste it and you can't get enough of it. The curry has also been good when we've gone there. I feel like it's just your typical curry that you would get from any Thai restaurant. Overall, Pique Thai is good, but there's nothing really that sets it apart as a 5 star restaurant. The food is good, which is important, but the service, atmosphere, pricing, and everything else is just average. Either way, it's close and makes our stomachs happy, so we'll keep going! read more

TL:DR; Meh overall, but we'd give them a 2nd chance Lineup: We had three dishes, Yellow Curry with Beef, Pad Eggplant with Pork, and Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken, along with a Thai iced tea. Flavor: 4/5 The yellow curry tasted great. The fried rice had a nice Smokey wok flavor, more savory than sweet. The Eggplant had a strong flavor but my wife was not a fan and "didn't understand it" ie very complex. The Thai Iced tea was not good. It tasted like it was made from a powder or syrup instead of real brewed tea and milk. Texture: 2/5 We got it to go, so sitting in our car ride home didn't help this but nonetheless this was our experience. The veggies were all over cooked and mushy, the meats were all chewy. Fried rice won on texture but perhaps a little too dry and oily for my tastes. Good fried rice has that kind of crispy exterior to the rice grain but a soft fluffy interior. This was not. The white rice included with the dishes was of the same dry texture. It felt like it was made a few hours ago with not enough water and was sitting in the rice cooker, even though we were picking up during dinner time. Content: 3/5 Portions were decent but the ratios were not very pleasing. We were searching for meat as it was mainly sauce and vegetables. I would be surprised if there was more than 2oz of meat in each dish. The Thai ice tea was probably half ice so that also was disappointing. Price: 3/5 Nothing is cheap these days but we felt that overall value was not great given the above results. Pass or Fail? Overall, we would consider returning again but try eating in rather than takeout to avoid the soggy veggies. We'd try some other dishes as well that are a little more common, like Pad Thai, rather than the Eggplant dish. I wouldn't waste the calories/money on their Thai iced tea. Nobody refilled my water. Felt like fast casual but they have menus and take orders at the table. My husband and I went there a little while ago- we were sat quickly and were hopeful. We ordered the Chicken skewers as an appetizer. They were decent so we were looking forward to what came out next. Quickly, things turned. Our Massaman curry was given to the table behind us after waiting for about a half hour. 20 minutes later, our check came- we told them we hadn't received any of our entrees and she said she'd go let the kitchen know. 15 minutes after that, we got our "crab" fried rice. There was nothing in the rice that resembled or tasted like crab. I am fine with imitation crab as long as it's stated on the menu- but it was not. 10 minutes later, our beef waterfall salad came out- it was the saddest excuse for a salad I've ever seen. The server said it came with broccoli and onions. It did not. Just some tough steak and onions with romaine tossed on the side. We laughed when we saw it. A few minutes later, they brought out the Massaman curry. It was the color of a heavily mayonnaised fry sauce. The bowl had about 2 ounces of chicken and tasted like I was eating several teaspoons of sugar. It was nauseatingly sweet. The servers kept bringing the wrong food to the wrong tables. In every dish, the first thing I tasted was sugar- it tasted like Thai fast food. I've had authentic Thai food and this was far from it. Bright side, they kept our drinks filled. Unfortunately, the floor staff was not well trained and it seemed like a lot of chaos. We will not go there again- but I hope they train their staff better and get some new recipes! read more

Absolutely delicious! One of the better thai restaurants in Utah. Their spicy fried rice is hardly spicy at all, so if you want it to actually make your mouth burn, make sure to ask to make it spicier! I got it 3* (out of 10). I could have easily tolerated 5 or 6. And the crab wontons--WOW. This is the only restaurant I've been to in Utah that serves it with a sweet sauce rather than the bottled thai chili sauce that *every* other place uses. Came in 40 minutes before closing. Was not told we would be kicked out of the restaurant at 9:30 on the dot. Had we been told when we arrived, we would have been quicker about deciding what to order - as well as flagging down the slow staff. The staff was very rude when telling us to leave and hovered to make sure we were done before 9:30. Will not be coming back - food was mediocre and over cooked as well. read more

Mehhhh. I should have known from the beginning that I wasn't going to love this place. We walked in and waited for anyone to make eye contact. Probably a good three minutes; they only had one party eating in the entire restaurant. Once we were greeted we were oddly asked if we wanted to sit and eat? Ummmm yeah?! Another delay to come take out order, but a nice waiter nonetheless. Then the food. Not too impressed. I did not like the dish of noodles we ordered one bit. The chicken curry was good. Delicious Massaman! Great with Gluten Free accommodations. They package their food well for takeout/delivery, and their dine-in location has been very clean whenever we have eaten there. As with most Thai Food restaurants, it does take a while for the food to come out. If you're bringing little ones, be prepared to keep them occupied for about 25 minutes before the food is served. read more
