I wanted some boba and found cafe trang bistro! It wasn't too far away so we came here for some snacks and drinks. I got the thai green tea with crystal boba, banh mi, and the popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken wasn't great but the banh mi and thai green tea were delish. The thai green tea tasted really fresh and not artificial at all . When you know you need pho, you just gotta go! Good thing it's air conditioned inside so it's nice and comfortable. Got the small pho with thin steak slices - just what the doctor ordered. Anytime I feel under the weather, pho is the best thing to get. This location was clean, and inviting. The staff was friendly and the menu was clearly presented. Their milk tea with pearls is pretty good! And the boba is nice and chewy - good indication that it's freshly made. We will def be back and happy to see they have a location closer to me! This was definitely food for the soul. I unfortunately always set my expectations high. At the same time I always give anyplace the benefit of the doubt. As I walked in I noticed the owner glazing the chicken over the grill while tending to the broth. It gave me confidence that this day was going to start out right. I emptied out my complementary cup of oyster sauce and chili into my bowl and stirred it until it was ready for some sprouts and basil with a twist of every drop of fresh lemon I could get into it. I don't usually get chicken as I personally believe pho should be had with beef. Great food, I love that they have AC. Service is ok, it's self order, there's only one guy at the counter. He's a kid trying his best. The cooks are loud having side conversations while you eat. I don't love that they have disposable spoons because they're smaller and harder to use, and the sriracha and hoisin sauce come in the same container.
