Went with a friend of mine who is filipino and has high standards when it comes to pho. They take your order at the register and were nice so I left a tip which turned out to be a mistake. There was no service after taking our order. They didn't check on us even once and we had to get our own to go boxes. The greens they brought out were wilted and brown. We asked if they could do better and the gentleman who took our order seemed bothered by the request and said I don't know, I'll see what I can do as he walked away. He was able to get us some better produce. When they brought out our phone there was food stuck to the bottom of the bowl. I gave my friend the cleaner bowl and took the one with the food but she was not happy about this as she was excited to introduce me to pho. I'd only had it one other time. I didn't feel heavy after finishing and the flavors were so yummy and the meat was good too! It was my first time with Pho and I wasn't sure on the cilantro and my friend made told me that typically it comes on the side so I should be good. Nah, it came in it. But it didn't bother me. I came across this place on my way to Provo from SLC. This is by far the best pho in Provo. I had a regular bowl but it's gigantic for $16.63. I live in DC and I have stopped eating pho because the quality has dropped, and there are so many places popping up. I go for the quality. Definitely will come back soon. Service was a bit strange you pay when you order at the front counter. Restaurant was mostly empty just one other table of people but many of the tables were dirty with other customers leftovers. Our booth was uncomfortable the table is 2 feet longer than the seats. The food was mediocre at best my wife got the shaken beef they were cut into small pieces and cooked well done was never given an option. The sauce was thick and very sweet. Stumbled upon this restaurant after stopping for coffee across the street on our drive back to California. We are from Orange County so we have pretty high expectations when it comes to Vietnamese food (and I'm Chinese-Vietnamese). They had a bit of a late lunch rush when we came in around 1:15pm. Though the wait was a lot longer than stated for our to-go order (30-40 min), the food made up for it. We ordered the lemongrass beef vermicelli and garlic beef banh mi. Both were delicious, especially the vermicelli dish. Great flavor, fresh, very generous portions with lots of meat, and quality ingredients. We stood there wondering then she said to order and pay first but we don't even have menus. So finally she gave us menus and we ordered shaken beef and wings. The beef came out which we could not even chew and very saucy. We called the server over and said we can't eat this and he made us the combination porkchops with eggs(dac biet). However wasn't any improvement. The wings were just fried and sauced up with fish sauce. Honestly everything was terrible and service was horrible as they didn't even provide water. Stopped here during a road trip and I got the pork vermicelli bowl and my wife got the tofu banh mi. Both dishes were very fresh, very tasty and great portion size. The one issue was that there was a random piece of chicken in my wife's tofu sandwich that she bit into. Since it was almost the last bite and they seemed very busy we didn't say anything, and since you pay before you sit down, nobody exactly comes and checks in on you at the end of the meal. Cute Vietnamese restaurant in south Provo. It's not in the best location which explains why I've never heard of/seen it (especially being a Vietnamese food lover)! We got the grilled pork banh mi and bun bo hue. The banh mi needed more pickled veggies and cilantro but the meat was good. (It was also a bit heavy on the mayo.) The bun bo hue tasted like what I was expecting, there wasn't much noodles though. They also gave lettuce instead of shredded cabbage on the side which was new to me. There is another Rollz in Taylorsville, UT. This Provo location does not have the full menu that Rollz in Taylorsville has, but they still have quite a bit of menu items here. When we walked in we were greeted and advised that we need to order at the hostess desk first and then sit wherever we would like with our table number that was given to us after ordering. Our coffee and water was first, then the chicken spring rolls, Banh Mi, and finally our chicken wings. It also came out fairly quickly too. There may have been a mix up with my wings because I asked for the fish sauce chicken wings, but when they arrived it looked more like the sweet and sour wings. Those were also the only two options of flavors for the wings. They were piping hot and still had a nice crunch to them even after being sauced. After sampling them I didn't say anything about the mix up because they were pretty darn delicious. We happily finished them off. My partner ordered the chicken spring rolls. The appetizer comes with 3 rolls. I enjoyed one myself. It had a crunchy ingredient that I rather enjoyed. Maybe fried onion. I couldn't quite figure it out. A good appetizer. Especially with the accompanying peanut sauce. Banh Mi was what we were craving that day and Rollz did not disappoint. The bread was a hit for my partner. He mentioned that it tasted like they toasted the inside of the bread on the griddle with butter or something lol. Which was unique to him and elevated the sandwich. Overall great meal. Consistently delivers fresh, tasty and authentic food. Staff is always courteous and helpful. Will answer any questions you have and make some great suggestions if you don't know what it is you want. The variety is overwhelming. I ALWAYS order the wings and am never disappointed and have also had pho, Korean beef, boba tea and one noodle dish. This is really great food that makes you feel better after eating it. I feel like it's homemade, clean and healthy.
