Drunken noodles - spice level 1 - slightly spicy

Delicious food and friendly service. It's the same owners and recipes as the one in Murray (which was worth the long drive!). Our favorites are the dumplings and the steak with sticky rice. Their house made sauces are delicious. And the ambiance is small and quiet and peaceful.

Our family LOVES Korean food! This restaurant offers most of the Korean favorites that you cook…read moreover a tabletop grill. What we ordered: Beef & pork bulgogi, shrimp, kimchi, vegetable pancake, noodles, gochujang, cucumber kimchi, potato dish, vegetables and tteokbokki. As we are very familiar with Korean food, the dumbed down-Americanized menu was a bit confusing. For example; japchae is just listed as "noodles" where some of the dishes were listed with Korean names. It would be helpful to list both. There also should be an indication for spice levels, like adding a chili pepper next to tteokbokki. We really enjoyed the food we ordered. Our favorite was the tteokbokki. Our least favorite was their version of japchae (it wasn't sweet and only came with onions.)

So far we've come twice and the second time we got there a little late (came from slc) and they let us stay and cook and eat even after closing and we were so grateful. Service can be a bit slow but she one server is sooo nice. I think it's only one server/hostess and one cook. It's definitely worth it. We love the japchae, the kimchi, the potatoes and ofc the meats. I'm picky about how sweet meat marinades can get but their short ribs are probably one of my favorites I've ever had. The other time we came it was on a weekday and it was us and one other family so I hope that this place gets as busy and popular as some other overhyped ones in the area

This is a mom & pop shop and a pretty good one at that. We had the Teriyaki chicken, beef and broccoli, and General Tso's chicken. All were good. I would have like more flavor with the teriyaki as it was a bit weak for my tastes, but still not bad. Same for the General Tso's chicken gravy. All the meats were tender and the veggies cooked just right. You have the choice of steamed rice, fried rice, or noodles with your combo meals. We choose two with noodles and one with fried rice. The noodles are better than Panda Express and are not greasy. The fried rice is not much to talk about, but was good enough. The cheese wontons are extremely good. Lots of cream cheese in it, the wontons are large, and a good sweet sauce for dipping. Exceptional. Nice, friendly service. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

We ordered the combo 2 (rice & 2 entrees), we got the pork adobo and pork sinigang. The pork adobo was tender and so flavorful! The pork sinigang was the star of the meal, it was sour just how we like it and loaded with lots of vegetables! It definitely reminded me of my Mamas cooking, so so delicious! We also got Lechon Kawali, you can tell it's made to order because it was hot and crispy. Our kids enjoyed the lumpia Shanghai, it had great crunch and was very tasty! The portions of the food were generous and enough to share! We saved room for dessert and got the flan, which was good. And my favorite, their Bilo Bilo! The flavors and different textures were chefs kisses! I wish this place was closer to us (we are an hour drive away) because I would probably be eating here everyday!

We've already been here twice, and it hasn't disappointed. The service is a big part of why. The young lady working there is genuinely one of the sweetest and kindest people, which makes the experience feel extra welcoming. We ordered a few different things, but the pancit really stood out. Soo good and full of flavor. We also tried the pork belly, which was just as satisfying. The place feels casual and comfortable, the kind of spot you'd happily keep coming back to.

Very disappointing experience…read more I recently took my 8-year-old nephew to dinner and was shocked to receive an $82 bill. We were charged as two adults, despite no one ever asking my nephew's age. Had the staff asked, the mistake could have been avoided entirely. What made the situation worse was what happened afterward. Once we paid, the employee who processed our bill repeatedly pressured us to leave a tip. I declined because the bill was already much higher than expected, and she seemed visibly unhappy with that response. When we later called to discuss the overcharge, we were told that it was our responsibility to inform the waiter of my nephew's age. No apology was offered, no refund was provided, and no attempt was made to resolve the issue. We were simply told to send an email. Unfortunately, this is not the first time we have been overcharged at this restaurant. Mistakes can happen, but the complete lack of accountability, customer service, and willingness to make things right is what was most disappointing. Customers should not have to argue over incorrect charges, nor should they feel pressured to leave a tip. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this establishment.

Hidden gem alert: Tiny, mighty, and seriously addictive Thai in Provo!…read more This little spot is proof that big flavor doesn't need a big space. We're talking maybe five or six tables total--cozy doesn't even begin to cover it. The walls are covered in gorgeous photos of Thailand and serene Buddha art that transport you thousands of miles away. More often than not, the owner is right there in the kitchen, wok in hand, personally sending out every dish. You can feel the love and care in every bite. Yes, the Pad Thai is solid (as it should be), but please--don't sleep on the rest of the menu. The fried rice is next-level, the curries are rich, aromatic perfection that will have you scraping the plate, and the signature dishes? Absolute showstoppers. Case in point: the Crispy Orange Chicken. It's hands-down better than most of the orange chicken I've had anywhere--perfectly fried, glossy sauce with that bright citrus punch, tender chicken, crispy outside. Pure bliss. The appetizers are no slouch either: The fresh rolls are bursting with crisp veggies (or plump shrimp) and herbs--light, refreshing, and full of life. The golden, crispy spring rolls are packed with veggies, and the crab rangoons? Creamy, dreamy, and dangerously addictive. And if you're feeling adventurous, dive into one of their incredible curries--vibrant, creamy, and deeply satisfying. Fair warning: Once you try Thai Simple Dish, you'll be plotting your next visit before you even leave. This place is small in square footage, but massive in flavor. Provo Thai food just leveled up. Highly recommend--go hungry and bring your stretchy pants!
