The service was very friendly, and convenient location. I had green curry with tofu and fresh rolls...vegetarian. The curry had fried tofu and lots of veggies with good flavor...kind of sweetish! The fresh rolls were fair....lots of lettuce with a good peanut sauce, which I requested more of. I think I'd pass on the rolls next time. This is my second time here. We called to make a reservation for 7 people. They said they would hold a table for us. When we got there it was packed. The server said we had to wait 15 minutes. There was a person there before us who had 6 in his party. They sat him before us and he stupidly said I WAS HERE FIRST. And smirked at us. Total jerk. They sat him and NONE OF HIS GUESTS WERE THERE. We waited another 15 minutes and decided to leave because the server said it would be another 15 minutes. The jerk taking up the table for 6 was still waiting for the other people to join him. Really terrible behavior. The entire party should have been there before seating him. I was a regular there up until a year ago. A couple used to run the place before. The husband was the cook and wife was the server. The food was Outstanding and the service was very pleasant. I noticed there were different cooks and servers now. Inside you will find yourself in a small but cozy setting- maybe 6 tables that filled by the time we left (around 6pm). Food was delicious. This is a one man owned & operated restaurant ran by Dan. He opened his doors just a few weeks ago to share his passion of thai street food with anyone and everyone! He really is so passionate about eat and every dish that he makes and their are memories and stories tied to each plate. His goal was always to create food that is not only yummy but good for you. We started with the Spicy Crispy Basil Pork and I really didnt know how he was going to top it! The pork was perfectly crisp on the outside and tender on the inside all while smothered in a delicious thai basil sauce. It really was delicious with the fried egg on top too! Then we tried the Rice & Barbecue Red Pork & it was also just BURSTING with flavor. It had a great tender melt in your mouth texture too. Then we ended with the Massman Beef which was a super thick and hearty curry. It might just be one of my favorite curries of all time. It was honestly just PACKED full of flavor and was so dense! I would go back everyday for that alone! We also got to try the Thai Flan over Sticky Rice and it was the perfect amount of sweet to end the meal. It really wasn't too strong and had a nice coconut taste from the rice. I ordered the Spicy Basil Crispy Pork, as recommended by the owner. It was delicious! I was a little nervous because I have never had Thai street food, but I am very happy I decided to try it out. The food here is flavorful and the portion sizes are generous. The owner is very kind and helpful. He was more than happy to explain the different dishes to me. He let me try the cilantro soup and he also let me try the new massaman beef! (Both tasty, by the way) Additionally, the owner double-checked if I was a student or served in the military because he wanted to make sure to give me a discount, if I qualified. I added chicken, but you could totally get this vegetarian style with no meat and it would still be just as good! My husband also enjoyed his pad thai and we enjoyed the veggie rolls.
