I've lived in Utah County for years and have never made the stop here, I wish I had done so earlier! The location is right in the heart of Provo and easy to get to. They've got some planter barriers to block off one of the street entrances which is interesting but creates a pretty little courtyard out their front door. We were greeted and then allowed to seat ourself. The location was clean and had lots of seating available. In record time did we order and have our dishes placed before us. I ordered a Triple Curry Combo while my boyfriend got the Pad See Ew with chicken. The portion sizes were large and we were easily able to share dishes. I was a bit worried that my curry would be too spicy and it was the perfect level for me. When our server brought out the check, I saw I could pay on my phone with their QR code. I paid but there was no clear way to let them know so I mentioned it on my way out. All in all, I would definitely repeat the experience. read more

I'm at a loss...I hate to be negative so I will just state the facts. The food was so bad I don't think they understand authentic Thai--I'm truly flummoxed, especially based on the reviews! I'm from Seattle area, I love Thai food! When I saw the reviews I was excited. I am traveling by myself so I just ordered fresh spring rolls and their Thai Hut fried rice. The Spring Rolls were full of iceberg lettuce and shredded carrot and over cooked noodles. They were served with 2 similar vinegar based sauces one with crushed peanuts--no peanut sauce. Peanut sauce was a dollar extra. Predictably, they were tasteless. The Fried rice was made with frozen vegetables and canned pineapple. The " pork belly" was pork with fat on it--not rendered or flavorful just chewy and gristley. The place is clean and comes out quickly. read more

We're on our way to Park City and were searching for a good Thai restaurant when this one pop up on our search. Just minutes from BYU. Plenty of parking, easy access, the front of the restaurant is full of plants and herbal vegetables. The restaurant is clean, nice, and the decors are very elegant. The services were excellent, and the food are amazing. I like the bamboo and plant screen that separated some of the tables to give certain table a sense of privacy and intimacy. The music is instrumental and reflect a relaxing environment. Overall, a great experience that we happen to be come by, by chance. read more

Peeps... if you are a Thai snob, look no further! This is SUCH a great place, the best in UT county, and potentially the state. Their Tom Kha Gai is off the chain, with the perfect flavor and spicing, using the freshest ingredients. When that soup is done right, it's not white, flavorless, and doesn't have baby corn in it. This is THE RIGHT SOUP. Orange tint, flavorful, the right vegetables, tender flat chicken, and goes perfect with the lemongrass, galangal root and leaves. Their yellow curry is also phenomenal. Had their pineapple curry a visit before and it was fantastic too. Lunch special was large enough for a dinner portion, came with a simple but flavorful Asian salad, and a big portion of rice. The plating looks great too... really classy joint. If I had one critique, I would have loved some music in the background while I ate so I didn't listen to myself chewing and slurping so loud. We go to a lot of Thai restaurants in provo and this one is by far the best around. It is so clean, the staff is so friendly, and the food is so good!! They bring out the food fairly quick and you can see it being prepared fresh for every order. We've gone here on Valentine's day too and they decorated the restaurant with roses and it was so adorable!!! They are also super descriptive of all of their menu items so you know exactly what you're ordering and will help you modify them however you'd like since they make every order so fresh! This is our favorite Thai restaurant in Utah. I have eaten at several Thai restaurants in Utah and this exceeds every other one.

Sometimes nothing quite hits the spot like Thai food. It's fresh, bright flavors and variety of options makes it an ideal option for any meal. Thai Hut definitely delivered on both of those when my friend and I stopped by for lunch. Now, the place was oddly empty with only two tables occupied, but it allowed the server to spend more time chatting with us about the menu. We decided on some chicken satay as an appetizer, and split the drunken noodle and ginger chicken. For the chicken satay, I believe they fried it so the chicken was very crispy. The peanut sauce had good flavor, although I think I prefer my satay grilled as opposed to fried. The drunken noodles were absolutely perfect. Great ratios of noodles, to vegetables, to meat and the sauce was just spicy enough. Lastly the ginger chicken was very gingery as the name implies, and had long strands of ginger cooked into it. While I liked the overall flavor, I found the whole pieces of ginger to be too much and would have preferred it to be grated into the sauce or in smaller pieces. But that didn't stop me from devouring it. Overall, with a clean modern interior, friendly employees, and fast service, I would love to come back and try more menu items! We've eaten a LOT of Thai food and even cook it at home. Thai Hut's Tom Kah Gai soup was spot on. As good as I've ever had. Perfect blend of sweet, tang, and rich spicy flavor. Mmmm! Do yourself a favor and order yourself a big pot. The green papaya salad was also excellent. First few bites didn't seem spicy, but this salad has a nice after-burner kick! Great flavor. Lastly, we ordered the Three Brothers. This dish was good, don't get me wrong, but the other two dishes were awesome. Will definitely be back to try other things on the menu next time we're in Provo. This restaurant opened in November 2020 and seems to be off to a great start with delicious food and friendly service! It's a locally-owned and family-run business that went through a fresh remodel from the original restaurant located here. The new interior is spacious and modern- I'm loving the dark aesthetic and sleek vibes! I've found that some Thai restaurants can be pretty spicy for American palates, but I think this restaurant has found a good balance between maintaining authentic flavors while also not alienating the local clientele (who tend to have a lower tolerance for spice). That said, they can bring out chili powder and hot sauce if you want to kick it up a notch! If you want to venture from the typical Massaman Curry/Pad Thai/etc orders, try the Avocado Curry! It's super creamy and the avocado cubes absorb so much of the curry flavor. Better yet, come with a group so you can all order a different dish and share everything family-style. As someone who lives in SLC, I don't venture down to Provo too often...but this restaurant certainly makes a compelling case for the commute. My friends and I swung by this cute spot for a quick dinner and it was great! We got the khao soi, tom kha, pad see ew, papaya salad, avocado curry and massaman curry. They were all so good and I was the most surprised by the avocado curry! It's super creamy and it hits the spot. The other classic dishes were also delicious - besides the avocado curry, my personal favorite was the khao soi. I think we got a medium spice level and it was on more of the mild side - so I would recommend going up in spice level if you like the heat.
