One of my favorite pho restaurants in the area. I always order the large chicken pho soup, and load it with fresh sprouts + limes. Excellent portion size for the price and it tastes amazing. Chicken tastes super fresh and you'll want to drink every last drop of broth. So so good. Super quick service and smells amazing. It's tucked away on state street but worth a visit. First time trying pho, it was pretty good! I'm a big fan of ramen, so I've been wanting to try this for a while. It was pretty similar to ramen, but definitely a lighter broth. Less pork flavor and more beef. The meat was perfectly done. I liked the steak more, but the brisket was good, too. Add a bit of that teriyaki sauce, some jalapeños, and bean sprouts and you've got a pretty tasty combo. After this first trial of pho, I would say I still prefer ramen. I just felt a bit bored of the dish by the end. And to my surprise, the regular size wasn't super filling! I got a number 5 regular and shared it with my husband. The pho was super light and tasty. Not as flavorful as in Vegas but still good. Most people put hoisan/Siracha sauce in pho which are the sauces they give you. I like it both ways. The spring rolls were very fresh and not fishy. They are smaller then usual and less authentic but still really good. My husband loved their gyoza. The price is also right. I do gotta admit this place is prolly a more hip version of pho. Just a couple of years ago I remember having trouble finding a good pho restaurant- thankfully it seems that those days have ended. And it seems that Pho Plus is getting better over time too! The flavor used to be kind of hit or miss. Now it is more consistent and perfectly salty. The portions are really good. The large really is big with tons of noodles. And they don't skip on the meat. This is the Phở Plus' location closest to my new apartment, and they're just as nice and the food is exactly (and I mean exactly) the same. What does that mean? It's my favorite Phở place in the area. They never miss ingredients, they are incredibly consistent, the price isn't bad, and they have an amazing stamp card which I highly recommend using to get free bowls every once in a while. When I eat there with my wife, they give me two stamps. I've eaten many free bowls of Phở. I really wish that I had been more active on Yelp because I would be beyond "Duke" levels checking in at the previous location. I literally ate there every Monday. I will eat here every Monday. If I'm not here two weeks in a row they might want to contact the authorities to start a missing persons case. read more

For my first visit to Pho Plus, I used the Internet to order some steak-and-brisket pho to-go, with a katsu chicken banh mi, to be ready for pickup at 2:15PM. I arrived a little late there, but my lunch was seemingly ready on-time, and the Pho Plus staff seemed friendly enough. I didn't stay there to eat, so I can't say much about its ambiance, which seemed alright at-a-glance, but I brought my meal home to eat instead. My pho needed some assembly, I discovered, but doing so was simple enough, and it allowed for some ready customization for those who wanted it---and, despite being "regular"-sized, my pho's ample portions yielded enough food for two people (or enough leftovers for a second meal). Overall, my soup-and-sandwich combo (of sorts) tasted delicious. The price that I paid for my pho seemed great, considering both its quantity and its quality, but I'm unsure if my banh mi was worth its price. As for the pho, it always hits the marks for portion size and broth flavor (my go to is the seafood or the brisket/flank/steak). First time in this establishment with a friend for a belated birthday get together. Curb appeal is lacking for sure, but once we entered, we were greeted warmly and with a cool breeze of the AC which was pleasant! We were seated in an empty table and it was spaced out (every other table was vacant on purpose) due to social distancing. We ordered the fresh rolls for the appetizer and I ordered their steak pho. It was decent, but being a California native, I've had better. My friend ordered the chicken vermicelli bowl - and their chicken looked weird. It was diced and was already in some kind of sauce, slightly smothered. Usually, the chicken that accompanies the vermicelli bowl is a dry, grilled, chicken, with a slight BBQ flavor (in most Vietnamese restaurants from California) so I wasn't quite used to this new presentation. In addition, I asked for the soup spoon that is normally served with pho, but they said they were not using that spoon due to covid. They made me use a plastic disposable regular spoon to slurp my pho soup with. If it was really the case (not providing the regular soup spoon for pho), why would they serve us the appetizers and pho in regular bowls (non-disposable) and just serve it to us in disposable plates?! The pho here is pretty decent-not too oily like many others around this area. The broth is very flavorful. They could probably give a little more meat with the orders. I usually take it to go from here, so I cannot comment on the service inside, but they are always nice when I pick up my order. Hubby and I have passed this place a few times and decided it was time to try and and boy howdy I glad we did. Every single thing we ordered was delicious. The summer rolls were fresh and served with a delicious dipping sauce, the pho was fun AND yummy and you got a different flavor with every bite. But my absolute favorite?? The bahn-mi sandwich. Holy.
