1. Pho Tai - A bowl of Vietnamese pho contains sliced beef, chopped green onions, and fresh herbs in a clear, light broth. The bowl is placed on a wooden table, with a spoon visible on the side. The broth appears to be flavorful, with ingredients typical of traditional pho dishes.

This place is a hidden gem that I've been wanting to try for so long. The Shrimp Pho was exquisite and flavorful and the noodles were bouncy and soft. The wait does take a bit but it's so worth it for the Pho as it's hot and freshly made. The Crab Rangoons were also hot and fresh too! I think I may burned my tongue haha. I also tried the Beef Pho which is just as delicious as the Shrimp Pho. The beef was a bit dry but honestly the star is probably the broth. That's liquid gold right there and I've notice they use it in every type of pho they have here which makes sense cause that is a delicious broth. I'd honestly just have the noodles and broth and I'll be very delighted. The ambience is quite calm and quiet too so it's pretty relaxing to eat here. The lady is very nice here too, who I'm guessing she's the owner. It's nice to walk in and see her cause she greets me like my grandmother would.

Shrimp Spring Rolls - A white plate holds two shrimp spring rolls wrapped in translucent rice paper, revealing shrimp and vegetables inside. A small bowl of dark dipping sauce, garnished with crushed peanuts, is placed between the rolls. The plate is on a wooden table, with a blue glass partially visible in the top right corner.

it was good. i got number 32, vermicelli noodles. I would have liked to see a fuller bowl, with things like peanuts. The crab rangoons were good, the spring rolls were to die for. On the day we went, they must have been short staffed as there was a 6 person table completely covered in dirty dishes. Seeing the sight of what the food i order would look like if had it sat out did slightly put me off my lunch but alas, i still enjoyed.

Take out of number 8, Thai tea, and spring rolls. - The image shows a takeout meal with a plastic container of raw beef slices on a bed of greens and onions, two cups of beverages, a bag of spring rolls, and a small container of dipping sauce, all placed inside a cardboard box.

The owner was so kind and amazing and gave incredible customer service! You can tell she's proud of her restaurant. The restaurant was bigger than expected with cute decor and low lighting which made it feel very cozy. The food was DELICIOUS! Her broth is cooked for 24 hours and all the ingredients tasted so fresh. The Thai tea was finished in seconds, and the spring rolls with the peanut sauce was top tier. Highly recommend!!

Chicken Phở Gà in Chicken Broth

Hands down the BEST!! I never order Phở from any other place BUT this place slaps! The prices are very affordable and the bowl sizes are huge! Their fried dumpling is made fresh in-house, the chicken Phở Gà in chicken broth is absolutely my fav - just add the toppings and some chili sauce! I absolutely would drive the distance just to enjoy some authentic Phở & the welcoming vibes of this place. The Phở Gà is great to enjoy on a cold day and a major soothing option if you're feeling under the weather & want to give your immunity a boost! Overall, the service has always been superb! #iykyk #phokingorem

2. Pho Dac Biet (regular size) - A bowl of Vietnamese pho contains rice noodles, meatballs, sliced meat, and fresh herbs such as cilantro and green onions. The broth is clear and light, with visible bubbles and floating herbs. The bowl is placed on a wooden table, with part of a plate visible in the background.

It's nice to have more Pho spots around to sample. With that said it's getting harder to stand out in that variety. The pot sticker filling had good flavor. I'm torn about the wrapping. There was something different about it I couldn't decide if I liked or disliked. Must have been okay because I ate several pieces trying to decide haha. I didn't care for the cream cheese Rangoon. The filling was sweetened which I'm not a fan of. Both appetizers didn't seem made to order though. They weren't piping hot. They also weren't cold, but somewhere closer to..lukewarm, I guess is the word that comes to mind. I personally wouldn't order either again. Pho King has a good broth. Hot and comforting on a cold day like today. I wish it had a tad bit more of the proteins, cilantro, and green onions/onion. I'm glad I got the regular size bowl because it was just enough for me to finish it all off and not be overstuffed. If I lived in the area I believe I would return for their affordable Pho. ($8 and some change for the regular size). Not a standout broth base, but not terrible either and an affordable large portion is a luxury these days. I bought some merch because the name makes me laugh. As did the owner. She was kind and we shared some laughs.

A large bowl of Vietnamese pho is filled with clear broth, bean sprouts, and herbs, topped with a drizzle of dark sauce. Surrounding the bowl are side plates containing lime wedges, basil leaves, and additional bean sprouts, along with a small bowl of noodles. The setting is on a wooden table with utensils and a glass of water nearby, indicating a casual dining environment.

**Note: I wrote this review and then realized I'd written a 5-paragraph opinion piece. I usually try to keep my reviews succinct but I'm pretty passionate about good pho so I got carried away. Skip to the last paragraph if you just want the quick and dirty review. My family and I are political refugees from Washington State now residing in NV. On balance, the quality and availability of food options is significantly better in NV than it was in WA but since all of us had lived there for our entire lives before becoming expats and relocating to the desert, we do miss the food items that WA does well. Luckily, it's a short list and even though LV doesn't do seafood quite as well, there are passable options. The two things we can't find anywhere in the city of Las Vegas are passable teriyaki or pho. I have given up on teriyaki completely. Seattle teriyaki was invented there and exists in great abundance but I haven't been able to find a single spot outside of WA that does it right. LV is particularly bad because everything here tastes like it came out of a box from the frozen section of Winco. This is more of a problem for my wife though because I do know how to make Seattle teriyaki at home but she can't pick it up for lunch on the go and I will never make it as often as she wants to eat it. We all love pho though and that's been the hardest thing to live without. Thankfully, the Ramen, Thai soup and Chinese noodle soups here are fantastic but no one seems to have sorted out how to make consistently good pho. I suppose this is a long lead up to why I was absolutely delighted to find the Pho King in Orem. We do visit UT frequently now as one of our kids lives there with her family and we have many friends there as well. I never would have found this place if we hadn't had so many people visiting that we opted to rent an AirBnB rather than stay with friends or family and it was near the location. I was on my way home from the wedding we were in town for and it was late in the evening. I was tired and hungry because I had been in charge of a part of the ceremony and opted not to eat the wedding food to stay on top of my game. I saw Pho King out of the corner of my eye as I was approaching State St from the freeway. I did pull up Yelp and Google business to vet it because I've been burned by Utah pho before. Guy Fieri loves Oh Mai, which started in my dad's hometown of Holladay and I think that 1, Guy Fieri doesn't actually know what good pho is supposed to taste like and 2, Oh Mai thinks that their product is good because Guy Fieri likes it. My kid who lives there tried it and said it was weak but I insisted on trying it because Guy was so enthusiastic about it. Well, my kid grew up on the real stuff in WA and knows what she's talking about even if Mr. Triple D doesn't. No disrespect here, I've enjoyed most of his food recs but he got this one was dead wrong. Since he seems to be in UT every other week these days, I'd advise him to come try Pho King and recalibrate. I know they have good pho in CA where he's from but I haven't really had any in NorCal where he's from specifically. I ordered the King-Sized Pho Thai with extra noodles, which is my favorite, along with some fried dumplings. The prices were higher than what I used to pay in WA but I left before Bidenomics set in so I have no idea what stuff costs there anymore. Compared to the $17-$23 a bowl dirt-water they serve in LV, the $10.50 I paid for my generously sized bowl of pho was the best price I've paid for it since I left WA in 2019. It was perfect! Exactly the way my favorite spot in WA that I ate at for 15 years before leaving made it. The broth was excellent and the shaved beef cooked to perfection. Most places in LV cut it a little too thick and then over cook it until it's dry and chewy. Not here, the owner actually knows what she's doing. Speaking of the owner, she's delightful. She came out and chatted with me for a few minutes about pho and her knowledge of her craft is on point. This is a business that deserves your business. As for the restaurant itself, it's clean and comfortable. that's all I need. I focus on the food because I don't care about shiny bistro vibes. I'll be back every time I visit UT!

Best pho place especially the lemon grass chicken which is #26 is my favorite and the shrimp fried rice too I have tried different many pho places and none hit the spot like pho king I recommend especially owners are so nice here forgot to take a picture of the lemon grass chicken heheh

8. Pho Tai Nam Gau - A large white bowl contains Vietnamese pho with rice noodles, slices of beef, and chopped green herbs in a clear broth. The bowl is placed on a wooden table, with a small dish of dark dipping sauce and spring rolls visible in the background. The setting suggests a casual dining environment at a Vietnamese restaurant.

Came here for the first time last night. Food was good, except I got food poisoning the next day. Would not recommend going here.
