I always LOVE getting sushi at Red8. I've never had a bad experience. The fish is tender, with a good flavor, and the vegetables they use are always crisp and add the perfect freshness to the rolls. I've never been disappointed here. I love the new decor they're adding as well, with the mural on the wall. My favorite sushi spot!

Their sushi is good. They have a ton of options. Too many in my opinion, but that is very subjective. I got a few different rolls of sushi, including the golden dragon, the butterfly roll. They were both yummy. We ordered the grilled steak kids meal which was delicious and was a good cut of meat. My kids enjoyed it. I was optimistic about their steak because of that so I ended up also ordering the pepper steak. BIG MISTAKE. It was 98% ONION. The menu said NOTHING about onion. At all. And the dish was basically onion with a sprinkle of super chewy steak. Horrible! However, The egg drop soup and the potstickers were good. Service was decent, nothing special but nothing wrong. The ambience was cool except for the big wall right in front of the front door, that was an... interesting design! Haha. Everything was reasonably priced as well. Overall the sushi was decent but the entree I got was terrible.

This is my favorite thing to get when I'm sick! Hot and sour soup & ragoons FOR THE WIN!

Sushi is one of my favorite foods and Red 8 does not disappoint! I would definitely recommend trying any of the Dragon Rolls as those are so good! Prices are not too bad for the quality of sushi and it has stayed great for the last 5 years of me going here! Service is great too and they are quick to make your food and make sure you have everything you need. I also love the various pictures and paintings because they give a nice mood to the restaurant.

This was pretty good. We've never been here before but everything on the menu looked good. The potstickers were delicious. My daughter got the chicken curry but did not like it. It could just be that she wasn't feeling well. But I ordered some sweet-and-sour chicken for her and she loved that. It could just be her taste. I don't like curry ever so I could not judge. I got chicken lo mein, which was good. Although it had really fat noodles, not my favorite. But it was still decent. It was a nice place and the wait staff were very nice.

Very rude owner and staff. Super disappointed and disgusting food.

Bad services and weird staff. While I was eating the man approached me and asked my personal information . They food also super terrible. Kind of nightmare experience

The salmon on my sushi roll was ground up and super mushy. I used to love this place but feel like it's gone down hill.

I'd love to know if anyone knows what is Gluten Free here, if anything?

yes, stay away from the fake crab meat, the tempura, and have them use a fresh sushi mat (Makisu) and clean knife. Also tell them not to add any sauces on top and should be good to go.

Great ambience, friendly staff, a menu broad enough to satisfy any mood, and food that delivers on what it promises. This one has earned a regular spot in my rotation. If you arrive before 3:00 pm, do yourself a favor and order from the combo lunch menu. For a good price, you get miso soup, white rice, pork gyoza, and tempura vegetables, and then choose two items from a list that includes chicken, rolls, and sashimi. The gyoza and tempura alone are worth calling out, both done well. I went with the spicy tuna roll and steak teriyaki and did not regret either choice. Now for the rolls. The Tsunami Roll is the signature and it earns that title, order it without hesitation. The Spicy Masa and Fire Breathing Dragon round out my personal top three and I have yet to be disappointed by any of them. The two areas where they could level up: the wait for food is longer than the lunch setting calls for, so come with patience and plan accordingly. And for a restaurant with rolls this photogenic, a printed menu with photos would go a long way.

Johanna is a great server, I promised her I would leave a review a year or so ago. I forgot and hadn't until now. It's a very pretty restaurant. If there was one complaint it's that the door gets opened, or left open and the cold blows in. Which is more of an Utah people thing, than it being the restaurants fault. I had odd service one time, this was four years ago or so. I haven't seen that server since then. So I guess it's sort of a moot point. For the sake of explaining it. I asked the guy first a to go box. He removed the food that wasn't finished and left the boxes. So I had nothing to pack. Once again, haven't seen him since. Whenever I'm in Lehi this is usually the restaurants fault I go to. I liked the ramen place across the street, but they stopped serving alcohol.

The restaurant is very clean and modern. We got the mixed tempura appetizer. We were very impressed with the portions. However, the vegetable pieces were huge. The carrots were nearly whole, not sliced. It was kind of hard to eat. We got a Vegas roll which was OK. I get the Vegas at most sushi places so I can have a baseline comparison. I also got the Marz roll, and it was SO good! My husband loved it too. We had some issues at checkout where she brought up another table's bill that was twice as much as ours. I checked the details, and she fixed it. Then technical issues prevented our payment using the device. So we had some delays. All in all, a decent experience. If we were in the area again and needed sushi, I think we'd come back. But as we're rarely in American Fork, we likely won't return anytime soon.
