    Pear & Gorgonzola pizza

So happy that Celeste is back and in our Holladay neighborhood, too. For our first visit in their new space at the Food Hall, we tried: the lentil soup, house spinach salad, rigatoni, and the pear & Gorgonzola pizza. Wow. The pizza was so unusual and delicious with melty Gorgonzola cheese, fresh pears, a super tasty crust, and pistachios. The lentil soup is vegetarian, flavorful, and hearty. Perfectly cooked rigatoni and spinach salad made this a perfect family meal! Love visiting with the owners who were always welcoming us at Celeste and bring their amazing service to this smaller spot. Can't wait to visit again at the food hall or SoHo food truck park this summer.

Great little spot! Yummy food. My husbands was slightly salty but we both finished our bowls! They even gave us a free meringue after our meal! Easy with kids too! Definitely will be returning!

This location is in a cute food hall, it almost shares a counter with a Peruvian restaurant.

Unfortunately my experience was disappointing before I even had a chance to eat. The restaurant's online hours showed it was open during prime dinner time on a Saturday, so I made the 25 minute drive only to find it closed with no explanation. A few other people arrived at the same time expecting to enjoy dinner here, but were equally confused and bummed. What made it even more confusing was a note on the door saying the restaurant was on vacation for 2 weeks, but the dates listed were for late June to early July. It's now late July. I'm not sure if the business forgot to update its hours or if something unexpected came up, but having inaccurate details online / unreachable contact made for a frustrating experience. I hope they can keep their online information up to date in the future as I'd still like the opportunity to try the food someday.

Carbonara nella ruota & melanzana alla parmigiana. The eggplant was not what I expected, it was not crispy. Just smothered in cheese, it was still good! The complimentary bread/breadsticks were great as well + it was a thursday night so there was live jazz. The Carbonara is AMAZING! I've had numerous pastas made in a cheese wheel and different carbonaras but this was the best carbonara i've ever had! The waiter also gave us a whole show and lesson on where the cheese is from! The second visit was to have my other friend try the carbonara because it was so amazing! It tasted amazing and we also tried the ravioli sage & butter + tonno and burrata. The complimentary bread was different this time, I like that they switch it up! The tonno and burrata was fresh, light, and flavorful. The ravioli sage and butter was good but we both agreed the carbonara is still the best on the menu. I was a little disappointed that they didnt do the whole show with the cheese wheel. I think they were busy and I just got lucky the first time. Overall, service and food is always great here!!

Nothing flashy, just a comfortable space that lets the food do the talking, and the food has plenty to say. We ordered the pistachio pesto campanelle, and it was outstanding. Rich pesto sauce, artichokes, and sun dried tomatoes coming together in a way that felt both rustic and deliberate. We also had the Caprese Bucatini, a spaghetti style pasta served with a small ball of fresh mozzarella in the center surrounded by marinara. Do not skip the garlic focaccia either. It is grilled, which adds a smoky depth you do not expect from a bread course. It was exceptional. The tiramisu trifle was the one miss for us. It needed more moisture to really land. Skip it and spend that room on more pasta. A note on the experience: there was one server covering the entire floor and what appeared to be one person in the kitchen. The restaurant was not busy, but we still waited longer than the situation seemed to call for. It did not ruin the meal, but it is worth knowing. The bathroom also needed attention. We spent $85 for two with non-alcoholic drinks, which felt fair for the quality and the neighborhood. They apparently do brunch, and I am already planning a return visit for that. This place deserves more attention than it seems to be getting.

I really enjoyed the prosciutto and melon, a little sweet a little salty, which I wouldn't have thought to put together myself. But the ravioli salmone was nothing short of incredible. Ross grew up in a large Italian family in Chicago and wanted to bring the classic "old-school" Italian flavors he grew up with to Utah after finding they were hard to come by when he moved here. The restaurant is located in Taylorsville, about 10-15 minutes southwest of downtown Salt Lake City, making it an easy stop whether you're staying in the city or exploring the surrounding area. Always great to spend time with family, and this was the perfect place to do it! We had a fantastic dinner. The calamari was crispy, tender, and delicious. The gnocchi was flavorful and comforting, and my steak was cooked perfectly medium-rare. The restaurant is much larger than it looks from the outside, with a spacious banquet area in the back that's perfect for private parties and family celebrations. Even though it was a busy weeknight, the service was friendly, attentive, and efficient. There's plenty of parking, and they can easily accommodate both small groups and large family gatherings. Cheers--I look forward to coming back!
