I was really hoping I would like this place. Door dashed as I was craving Italian food. Stuffed mushrooms. A little fishy. Tasted like it was smothered in tomato soup. Portabella ravioli was covered in Alfredo sauce. Not very tasty. Too much sauce on everything. Side salad was a little sad and small with barely any dressing.

I've never had anything here that wasn't absolutely delicious! From bread to salad to appetizers to entrees to desserts, Napoli's knows how to do it all. On my most recent visit, I tried the amazing creamy carbonara and a yummy chocolate chip cannoli. (Maybe the best cannoli I've ever had.) Full disclosure: on another recent visit, the front desk staff was a little rude, but that's never happened before and it hasn't happened since, so it must be an anomaly.

Ambiance Nice Italian restaurant in SLC. Open and airy space. They serve mostly the pasta sort of Italian food. Food Carbonara Chicken Alfredo Eggplant rollatini - this was what I got, and it was good for what it was. I'm glad I tried this; in the future, I will order a dish with meat, less carbs, and less drenched-in-sauce. Chicken parmigiana Stuffed shells Bolognese Desserts: chocolate cake (very thick), carrot cake (nothing special compared to other carrot cakes I've had), and tiramisu (very good and moist). My favorite was tiramisu. Service Our server was very nice and helpful.

Another instance of a Utah business owner investing in making the joint look pretty rather than taste delicious. Everything tasted like it was thawed this morning- boiled chicken on a lemonless picatta, Caesar dressing from a squeeze tube with store bought croutons, and dry grilled chicken that came out more cold than hot. At $24-30/plate, very very Disappointing. Unrelated to food- why do the bathrooms not have coat hangers?!

The food and service here was amazing. The rolls were perfectly made. The salad crisp and cold. And our meals Shrimp Alfredo and Little Italy were delicious.

We ordered takeout for the first time here. Everything was absolutely delicious! The garlic rolls were so fresh and chewy, they complimented the chicken Alfredo and the Bolognese pasta. 10 out of 10 would definitely eat here again! Next time, maybe we'll go into the brick and mortar.

I went with a friend to Napoli's Italian Restaurant in Midvale recently. WOW! We both loved this place so much! It was very clean & service was great! I ordered the Modo Mio pasta dish minus the pancetta. I was trying to go out of my comfort zone a little with this dish. It had mushrooms & artichoke hearts mixed with a creamy red sauce and noodles. It was so good! My friend ordered the Florentine with chicken & she loved it! We've been talking about when the next time is that we can go back honestly! I loved the complimentary bread that they give as well. It was almost like a pretzel thickness, but so soft. I loved dipping this in my sauce on my main dish. Both meals also came with a side salad. I haven't been able to find a really great Italian restaurant & I think I finally found one! I am raving about this place to everyone I know! Highly recommend!!

The stuffed mushrooms are well worth a try! The sauce tastes amazing with the side of bread that's given with the salad! The pasta is made fresh and tastes delicious. The service was fast and efficient. It's very clean inside and has high ceilings. Parking was a bit busy, but inside had plenty of tables available for seating.

Food was amazing and tasty!! Portions are very fair for the price and the menu has a wide variety of Italian staples and proteins. Best appetizer was the stuffed mushrooms with crab! I also got the Shrimp and Scallop pasta and was very pleased with the flavor! Seafood was ample and fresh in the pasta. Complementary bread was also provided. My partner and I have never been out for italian, but after trying this place we are willing to come out to try other italian options! Service was very quick and food came out in little time, and everything was freshly made to order! Ambiance was clean and nice, lots of seating available and setup was an open door plan so it didn't feel stuffy at all.

Service 5/5 Food 4/5 Ambiance 4/5 Our service here was fantastic. I wish I could remember our waiters name because I could love to give him a shout-out. He was attentive, friendly, and just all around great. The food was good. We enjoyed what we ordered and will be back to the other menu items. The lobster ravioli has a great sauce with it. The Fettuccine Alfredo was good, but I've had better. The garlic cheese bread was great, and so were the rolls that come out before or with your food. No alcohol menu here -- beer, wine, or liquor. Not a terrible thing, but just something to be aware of if you enjoy that with your meal. Parking is tricky during dinner hours as there are limited spots and lots of businesses around.

We probably had the absolute most amazing dining experience we have ever had anywhere. Jamie was the best server. Wish she could be our server everywhere we went. Will always ask for her anytime we come.

I had minestrone soup, fettucine Alfredo, gnocchi with walnuts and Gorgonzola sauce, almond cake with raspberry filling and pistachios, and lemon lime gelato. Their rolls and house salads are good too. Their parking lot is tricky--you can't turn left from either exit.

Whether it's date night, dinner with friends, or a bigger group outing, this place consistently delivers delicious food, warm service, and that homey, family-run charm that's getting harder to find. I always recommend calling ahead for a reservation, especially if you're rolling in with more than two people. They've got plenty of room for larger groups (huge plus!), but I like the peace of mind knowing we've got a table waiting. We tend to start every meal the same way--with their antipasto board, and honestly, why mess with perfection? It's a beautiful spread of deli meats, cheeses, olives, sweet peppers, and this time, perfectly cooked asparagus. It's shareable, satisfying, and the kind of appetizer that feels like an occasion in itself. Entrees come with a salad, and the house-made feta dressing is always our pick. Creamy, tangy, and addictive--it's reason enough to clean your plate. For my main dish, I went with the chicken piccata, and it was a win: tender, bright with lemon, and generously portioned. Between the caper-forward sauce and the size of the plate, it was a win for both my appetite and leftovers the next day. My other half ordered the veal marsala, which is rich and satisfying--just know it leans a bit sweet. Our friend went with the spaghetti and meatballs, which feels like Fratelli's unofficial signature dish. Always classic, always comforting. Their wine list leans Italian, of course, and it's well-curated--plenty of great options by the glass or bottle. I only managed a couple photos this time because, full honesty... I was way too excited to eat. Fratelli is a bit of a drive from home, and when you're craving comforting Italian in a space that feels like family--you make the trip. Looking for that mom-and-pop magic with consistently good food, generous portions, and a welcoming vibe? This is your spot.

My family stayed down the street at the HGI in Sandy for 5 nights for my son's soccer tournament and we visited Slackwater 3 times. Pro tip: join the waitlist on Yelp! Even during the week, the wait was 30+ mins each time. Food was great. We tried a lot of different pizzas - we got the Chicken Bro-Do, Hot Honey DP, Tikka Masala, Taco Camarones and Margherita. The airy artisan crust is the same on all pizzas and is delicious. I would recommend them all outside of the Camarones which felt a bit underwhelming as there was very little shrimp and flavor was flat. The Citrus Morita dry rub wings are incredible. We ordered these every night. The Morita chile sauce I would throw on everything. Super fresh and flavorful. It had the right amount of heat . The breadsticks are really good. Same bread that they use for the pizza and stuffed with a ton of cheese. Marinara sauce that comes with it is top notch. The Diablo sticks are spicy just to be spicy. The sauce isn't good. We switched to regular marinara. Would recommend staying away from these. Service is great. Everyone is very attentive. The staff definitely give off a chill energy but are focused, alert and friendly. This place is a must if you're in the area. Hope we can make it back someday.

My one complaint is that we made our reservation for 6:15, but at 5:55, I received a text that my table was ready and would only be held for 10 minutes. That means our table would be given away if we didn't arrive 10 minutes BEFORE our reservation time. The pizza is fantastic. Which I kept saying to my party through bites of pizza. It is the crust that makes this pizza. It is a little sweet but not in a dessert way. It has the perfect chewy bite. I was impressed. I never eat pizza crust, not ever, but it was good enough that my dogs didn't get their usual crust treat. We tried 4 different pizzas and I would recommend any of them.

My favorite has always been "Mama's Trio" which is a combination dinner of their Alfredo, Lasagna and Chicken Parm. Great food along with amazing service was a hallmark of Macaroni Grill. That's what we were hoping for when we visited last night. Everything seemed mostly the same, but something was missing. The restaurant most mostly empty, which we wrote off as it being a slow Tuesday night and fairly early (530pm) however we took our time and were there until almost 7pm and not very many couples came in. In any case, the decor was great in the large open area dining room. We ordered a bottle of Pinot and an appetizer that we had never tried before - Whipped Feta with garlic toast strips. It was fantastic. Our waiter was quick and very friendly, wrote his name on the tablecloth paper as they do as their signature move at the Mac Grill, so the service was still there. We have both always loved this place, so the nostalgia was strong going in, but overall it didn't hit like it used to. The prices seemed quite a bit higher as well but the food quality didn't improve with the higher prices. My Trio was just "okay" but nothing to write home about. My wife got the Chicken Marsala and it was delicious. Easily the best dish of the evening. Overall nice atmosphere and service. Felt a bit old and outdated. Food was good for the most part. Appetizer was new and fun! I feel like with just a few tweaks to their menu and some new advertising they could bring back their glory once again. Still a good spot for a tasty Italian dinner!
