My favorite is the lamb gyro with couscous and the lemon soup. The menu is also great for people with unusual food sensitivities. My husband can't have seed oils or added sugars right now, and GR Kitchen is one of the only restaurants that doesn't trigger him. Terrible service. We placed an order through the website and we were told it was delivered. It was not. We were also charged twice for one order. so an order that was supposed to be only 25 dollars ended up being 50. We called the store to get a refund or have the food resent. We were told that we would not get a refund or our food and were given the uber support line. Uber support was great and actually tried to help us but unfortunately couldn't because they need to contact the store to get the refund, which the store denied the first time. I will be contacting the store tomorrow and if i do not receive my refund i will be disputing the charges. I will never eat here again. This is ridiculous. read more

I didn't even know about this place until last night when I (luckily) stumbled upon it on Yelp! Most of the reviews I read were good, so I wanted to try it. I went there after 2 pm so the place was almost empty. Surprisingly the inside is pretty open and big with lots of natural light. However, no one greeted me when I entered the store but I read in the reviews that I'm supposed to go the Kiosk directly to place my order. Ordering my food from the Kiosk was very easy. And the food was ready in 2 minutes! I ordered the Chicken Plate with Pita, Couscous, Potato Medley, Kale Salad, Hummus, Onion, Tomato, Cucumber, Feta & Olives. It was refreshing, delicious and fulfilling. For ~$14 their food portion was not bad...I couldn't finish the whole thing! I think I'll go back to try more of their other items. read more

Delicious and surprisingly fast Greek menu at GR Kitchen in Midvale. Some of the best lamb I've ever tasted. The lemon soup was perfect during the cold winter months. Solid lunch spot for me when I'm in the area. It so easy to order with their online app. You pick the time to pick it up and have it waiting when you get there. Very good plates, salads, and gyros. I particularly like the lemony kale salad. I've had the falafel before but those were a little dry. It might have been an off day and I want to try them again. But the gyros are solid and satisfying. The portions are generous. While you're placing an order, try the baklava. It makes for a little, sweet ending to a good lunch. I asked for a Cesar salad and a Greek salad. first of all, this was the worst gyro I've ever had. they put jalapeños and regular black olives on it (what gyro comes with that?) Once walking in, I was not greeted by anyone, but did see a self serve kiosk which I used. I ordered a gyro and a kids meal. I wish the kids meal had a little more pita bread to go with it, but overall the food was good for fast food. We paid $18 for the gyro and kids meal. I've got to give a huge #ThankYouThursday shoutout to GR Kitchen for coming through for me over the last year. We all know that 2020 has been crazy for everyone, but especially for small businesses and small business owners. That's why I'm especially grateful for GR Kitchen and how they have come through for me with great food, done safely, and easily (and quickly) since this whole thing began. If I can back up a little, it's important to note that since my first review some 4+ years ago, GR became more of a go-to for me. I have a few friends who love the place after I introduced it to them, and it's been a reliable good, different, healthy option for at least 2 years now, that finds its way into my rotation. But when the pandemic hit, I wondered what would happen. It's been awesome to see how well-positioned they were to be successful. You can order takeout or delivery right here on Yelp. When you go there, they had a table dedicated specifically to those orders, and now that dine-in is an option, they have a very smooth and clear ordering queue that helps you get through the line quickly. I'm a big fan of the rice and greens mixed plate, with chicken, a little tomato-cucumber action, some hummus, tzatziki, and will occasionally swap out a grain for the big daddy cous cous. All the proteins are good, but that chicken is what calls out to me. Thanks for hanging in there, guys. I know it's hard. We appreciate all you're doing to keep us safe and well fed. read more

With a captive audience of the movie theaters, I cannot tell you how disappointed I was with the quantity and the quality of the food. I've watched this decline in the past few years. We love this place but you have to order your food on iPads and grab a buzzer to pick it up at the counter which is fine if they didn't try to force you tip. A screen pops up with tipping options starting at 15% minimum and you have to manually go to "other" and enter 0 to not tip. If you have health goals and like high quality food, GR Kitchen is worth a visit. I had a chicken salad with tzaziki and side of tomato/cucumber and broccoli/roasted veggies. It was all really flavorful, and I enjoyed it. The only room for criticism is that I wasn't really acknowledged or greeted when I walked in--although I was seen, which made it awkward. I told them it was my first visit, and I can't say they were especially helpful or eager to explain anything to me. Still, it was a solid choice, and affordable too. Give it a go. We have been to this place probably 20 times in 10 years. We have also been to Greece. This place is predictably good. We love the salads loaded with the veggies with both Tzatziki sauce and Kafteri sauce as a dressing. The meats (lamb and chicken) are great as well. Pita is serviceable. They have been through plenty of staffing challenges and have gone cashless with an ordering system when you walk in. At first it was a little off-putting but it works and allows them to keep the prices decent. It is a little like Cafe Rio Greek-style in the sense that you can have it as a gyro or a salad. The falafel is just ok and the pita is not made onsite. Beyond that, and the occasional staffing challenges, we will continue to frequent this spot! read more
