I rarely give a 2 star or less review to any local restaurant or store. So please read the entire review to get the entire experience. The place is very nice, and had a cozy atmosphere. I had made a reservation and my party of two was seated promptly. The service was friendly and accommodating. As I read the drink menu I saw mimosas available with guava, orange, or pineapple juice. So I asked if I could have a POG mimosa, all three juices together like you get in Hawaii. They were eager to accommodate, and even checked back to see how it came out. With another shot of guava juice it was excellent! The food was served promptly after the drinks. I ordered the Royal Fries (regular fries with bacon, cheese, chives, and their special sauce). They were great. My entree was the Chicken Pot Pie. It was delicious and piping hot. We skipped deserts and asked for the check. We also asked to use our 10% Yelp discount coupon we received for checking in. After checking with the manager, we were told that they could not accept it. Why do they offer it and not accept it? So the food, and the service were very good. Good enough to want to go back and try some other menu items. Will I go back? Probably not, since they participate in the Yelp discount coupon program, and then they do not honor it. That is why I give them 2 stars.

We decided to stop in and eat here on a trip in the area. Firstly the drive is wonderful and beautiful with fantastic views. Secondly the restaurant was so cute and clean and reminded me of Colorado. I loved it so much. The food was incredible. The Brussels sprouts were our favorite. The service was quick and the was so sweet and took great care of us. We even made a reservation for another visit. Definitely great for dates.

Royal on the Ridge is up the hill in Draper, it's a beautiful drive up and the views are spectacular coming down. It's a classy restaurant nestled in the mountain, it' was a perfect date night spot! They have many yummy cocktails to choose from and SMALL BITES, the Ridged Baked Brie is screamin The wood fire pizzas are a hit and we tried the Blanco Ravioli with shrimp and the Ridge Chicken Pot Pie . Both were good I would recommend the ravioli's, they were my favorite. I'll definitely be back to try that Wagyu steak. We got a giant gorgeous chocolate cake for dessert. It's layers of moist chocolate, Big enough to share with the whole table.

The vibe is great. They play good music and have funky decor. That is where the good times end... the service was painful and the food was terrible. We had the love brunch and everything was cold and soggy. The chilacquiles did not have any flavor, there was only one piece of pork and the egg was overcooked. The baked Bree was under cooked. The all American breakfast was okay except the potatoes were too hard to eat.

Tucked up in the mountains is a beautiful little neighborhood café-and I had the opportunity to visit it recently with some friends. They had discovered it and recommended we meet there for dinner, and I was happy to go along. It's a small place, with an even smaller parking lot-but once you get inside, you're transported to a magical café. It is kind of what I would picture if you got to go inside the Keebler elves' tree. To make it even better, there was live music playing-local jazz musicians. The mood was terrific. The food was also great. I enjoyed a pizza made in the imported brick oven and my wife ordered a sandwich. We shared an order of fries as well. My favorite part of the evening wasn't the beautiful views, the delicious food or even the great live music-but it was the service. Our server took good care of us and was so kind and welcoming. I felt like he might have been the owner and was treating us as his special guests. (That was not the case, but he made us feel that way.) I hear they have a great brunch. I'm excited to go back and check it out.

This was the Benedict. It was alright, the potatoes with alfredo were the best part!

This place was an experience! My oh my. The ambiance, the live music, the service, the food, the coffee, it was just a perfect combination for a great outing. I was visiting Utah and introduced to Ridge. Definitely want to go back. I ordered the breakfast pizza because I've never had wood fired breakfast pizza before. It was so good! Even the leftovers tasted amazing. My friend got the Benedict. While that was good in its own right, the potatoes were the star of that show. Crispy and topped with tasty alfredo! The Benedict could've used just a little more hollandaise as it felt more like a glorified egg sandwich rather than a Benedict. We ended up ordering a side of the hollandaise and that was a delicious sauce. Ended up using some for the pizza too. Overall this was a great experience and I'm looking forward to returning my next trip to Utah.

Nachos

This place is a hidden gem. We swung by here after we had a sweet downhill biking session on levitate. The service was great, the view was amazing and the food was tasty. I had the nachos, which were great! They had homemade queso, beans, chicken and two types of cheese and pico de gallo. We will definitely be back!

I visited about six weeks ago with friends. We chose this restaurant specifically because it's…read moregluten free, but when we arrived, we were told they were unable to serve the gluten free dishes at that time. A sign on the door with this information would have been nice. The chicken Parmesan itself was pretty good, but the spaghetti served with it was meh. The best thing about this restaurant is that they were able to accommodate our rather large group, and the seating is such that we had a lot of privacy. I would likely hesitate to return, though.

And so it begins…read more.. I walk in Wednesday just before 5 pm. There's a group of three and me. Plenty of places to sit. Upon entering the it's quiet, which I cherish after a day in the office. It's clean, neat and organized, ready for the night's dinner guests. There a sense of pride. I'm getting the artichoke dip with Focaccia, small house salad, and baked ziti with andouille sausage. I ordered bottled water... didn't pay attention to the size. I got the big bottle. All good. Ate my bread too fast. I'm hungry and it was warm and soft with a nice chewy crust... Italian herbs on a plate, balsamic and evoo...good to go. The music is a an eclectic blend of the Temptations, easy listening and big band. Very relaxing. The food is fresh and good. They only used evoo for salad dressing... I wish it had a citrus vinaigrette to brighten the flavor. Otherwise very fresh. The baked artichoke dip is hot and fresh too. The baked ziti is hot, cheesy, meaty and just knowing the resultant and a healthy focus on non gmo ingredients and caters to vegan and vegetarian patrons is super appealing. The young lady helping me, Lauren, was attentive, very helpful and kind.

I'm giving five stars because the food is just that good! But I do have some feedback…read more First, the food itself. We tried the truffle bread, the rice balls, and the calamari. All super delicious! I got the ricotta cavatelli for my entree, and we also got some desserts. The seasonal butter cake was the only item of the evening that didn't taste great. It had some kind of frosting on top with a strange, artificial texture. Unfortunately, the portions are tiny for the prices. Appetizers, sure. Desserts, that's fine (although people often share desserts, so they really should be bigger). But entrees? My pasta was absolutely swimming in sauce, and while I loved the generous amount of seafood, there was very little cavatelli. It would have been nice to have more to soak up the sauce and just fill me up more. I'll be back, and hopefully next time the portions will be a bit bigger.

At one point she even made us drinks that weren't on the menu and they were AMAZING. Honestly dangerous how good they were. Rose made the whole night way more fun than it had any right to be. 10/10, give this woman a raise immediately and if you come here ASK FOR ROSE. She's the best.

I like supporting local business especially while traveling sometimes you have to go to the chain…read morebut sometimes you don't. In this instance so glad I didn't Sauce Boss was amazing. We chose it because it was close to the hotel how lucky are we. We went with a group of five. We ordered three entrees and a side of wings. The wings were our starter and they were fantastic black and wings are great highly recommend. My wife and I split the fried chicken with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy and the cornbread it was absolutely fantastic cannot speak highly enough. My mom and dad split the shrimp and grits which they also said was great I did try the grits they were lovely, gooey, cheesy awesomeness. My sister had the kale salad as she needs gluten-free options it was easily the largest most fantastic looking kale salad I've ever seen, and she said it was great. The last thing I would probably comment on is the sauces with a name like sauce boss it better have good sauce and it did. Each and every sauce was unique from others I've had but didn't disappoint all where extremely tasty I especially like the spicy one that came with the fried chicken. At this restaurant they don't have salt and pepper on the table and for good reason everything was spiced and seasoned very well. As for service, our server was very attentive, very kind, made great suggestions and all that being that we came in within a half an hour, 45 minutes of closing, you can't beat that!!! If you want boring food don't eat here. If you want the same plain Jane thing you find at every other chain, don't eat here! On the other hand, if you want amazingly tasty food, service and sauces and a good story to tell eat here!!!

Draper, Utah…read more Southern food? Fried catfish? All in the middle of Utah? I had to try it. This is a sit down and order restaurant. Very casual inside, white walls with metal chairs and concrete floor. Very simple. Very small space. About 14 tables. I have food, allergies, and the waitress answered all of my questions. But then she sent the chef/owner, Julius, over to talk with me. Pleasant man from Chicago. But his recipes are all from his family who lived in the South. I ordered the fried catfish which is accompanied with two sides. I chose the candied yams and the mac & cheese. My husband ordered the fried chicken with mashed potatoes, potatoes, and gravy and the macaroni and cheese. Both plates are served with a slice of cornbread with a large honey butter smothered on top. The food came out very hot. The breading on the catfish is very thick and a lot of spices. I was pleasantly surprised when I cut my catfish and discovered it was deboned and tender. The mac & cheese was creamy and the candied yams were super sweet. Just the way I prefer them. They did seem a bit runny, but the flavor was good. The fried chicken was unbelievably moist. The breading was thick and crunchy. The mashed potatoes were of course, homemade with spices, and the brown gravy is chicken based. The cornbread was delicious. Comes with a slab of honey butter. I only wish it was served warm. It would've made the experience perfect. The food portions are large. The food has wonderful flavor with the perfect spice and southern heat. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I would give it 4.8 stars. The only two things that brought it down from a perfect score were the cornbread being cold, and the restaurant was not a cozy feel. Please come check this restaurant out and meet Julius.
