Outstanding ambience, seated outdoor you're ensconced in trees and with a nearby water fountain, and it seems the world is a million miles away. The menu is Executive Chef level of comfort food and French classics; great wine/sparkling/cocktail menu, too! Marco, the owner and Chef is friendly and approachable, in fact he will approach you to converse about your experience...he is genuinely interested. Staff are ALL courteous and respectful of privacy. Not cheap, but considering the quality the value is there. We'll be back for sure!

$18 Old Fashion how it was delivered from the bar (no drinks yet)

Food and outdoor setting were nice, but service was comically bad. Took 3 hours from seating to paying our bill, of which about 30 minutes was spent actually eating. The rest of the time we were negotiating with our waitress trying to order drinks, get water, order food, get food, get bill, pay bill, etc. Each of these activities, for whatever reasons, seemed difficult and confusing. For example it took 35 minutes to get cocktails and we had to ask if we could actually order drinks. When they came, my $18 Old Fashion barely had an ounce of liquid (see attached pic). The food was very good ... but unfortunately the experience was just too frustrating for such an expensive place. We won't be going back.

Just an excellent experience on our first dining at this unique location in the South Valley. A picturesque setting with intimate dining. Every item was well and thoughtfully presented, from the rich artichoke soufflé through their signature salad, to perfectly executed seafood. Of note: their Brazilian Seafood Stew is flavorful and well stocked with halibut and shrimp. Dessert options were slightly limited, but their brûlée was a very good cap to the meal. Good beverage options...and the service was excellent. The restored pioneer home offers a great indoor dining experience in winter months, and the setup ensured that the overall noise level is quite mild. An excellent fine dining option for the area. Visit their website...there is a dress code, as well as structured costs for groups of six or more.

Absolutely loved!! Our server was Justin and he was excellent for our group of nine. Absolutely loved the ceviche appetizer--we ended up ordering two! I ate my entire dish of the Thai Halibut. I'd order it again w/o any hesitation. Others on our table had clean plates as well. The food was all fantastic!!! I also had the Charleston Salad and loved that, too!!!

I found this charming restaurant on social media-a friend had posted pictures, and it looked amazing. But when I first discovered it, we were in the dead of winter. So I bookmarked it to come back and visit when the weather was nicer-I wanted to take advantage of the outdoor seating. The day of our reservation arrived and, as luck would have it, there was rain. Boo! We were moved inside, which I don't fault the restaurant for. The ambience is slightly upscale, with tables very close to one another. They do their best with the physical constraints-there's only so much you can do with an old restored house. We ate at noon on a Sunday-and were hoping for lunch food, but learned that it was the brunch menu. The items that we ordered were good-everything was carefully plated and presented in a beautiful way. Others have mentioned the high price point for bottled soda. Our server told us that they were changing machines and the bottles were temporary. The pomegranate mojito was delicious and very fruity. I'm looking forward to returning when the weather cooperates so I can sit outside...and in the evening so we can try the dinner menu.

Came here a few years ago and it was amazing. Decided to go last night. What a waste of money. Highly disappointed! Had reservations at 8:30. That was about the only thing on point last night. Ordered drinks. Took foreeeevvver. Appetizer. Escargot stuffed mushrooms. Terrible! No flavor. Literally a snail on a mushroom with cheese sprinkled on top. Cheese was not even melted. Came out cold as if it was in the fridge two second prior. Had to send back. Still not good hot. Flavorless. Come on! For this place to be fine dining, and how expensive it is, you are treated like you are eating at your local village inn. I'm not sure you even know what fine dining is at this place. A real fine dining place knows when to clean your table after appetizers and before dinner. After our appetizer, food was spilled on the table. Waitress just acted like she didn't notice. We waited over an hour for our slop. Fish stew. This was okay, but honestly tasted like it was heated up. And the chicken dish as well. These both must have been popped in the microwave. I literally should have eaten at the local village inn. It would have been better and cheaper. Not sure who you have cooking back there, but it's definitely not a chef. We had 2 meals, 1 appetizer, 4 Tito shots and 2 cocktails. $200 later for cold appetizer, and a crappy meal. After we waited an hour for our food, we literally almost just cashed out and left. But then our meals miraculously appeared. Honestly, the only good thing about my terrible dinner experience, was the piano player. She was awesome! Service was a 7 out of 10. Okay. Not the best. This place needs a new chef, new menu, and lower prices. This definitely was not an amazing 200$ meal. Pretty mad at myself today for spending that!

This place has beautiful architecture and a charming look from the outside, which is why I chose to stop by one night. I had read reviews about the owner being rude, so I made sure I fit the dress code and was extra nice, and the owner was delightful. The music playing, however, was very... interesting. A lot of power love ballads, so be prepared for that. I got the porterhouse special with a caviar baked potato, and I was not as stellar as I had hoped, and was cooked well when I asked for medium. The servers were delightful and playful and attentive to our needs, and I'm sure I could have sent the steak back, but that's never been my style. My date had the lobster Mac and cheese which was also just ok. I have made both at home and felt that I could do it as good, which is the opposite point of going out to eat. Where this place really shined food wise was in the desserts. I would go back several times for just the desserts alone. We had the crisp and the bread pudding, which were both amazing! Overall, I'm glad we went and would go back again to have a sweet treat any time!

This restaurant is set in a charming older home in the historic section of Draper. During the summer, you can dine outdoors, which is quite lovely. The food was incredibly good. I really loved my steak. However, sometimes the chef that runs it can be temperamental. They have closed before with no warning, even when they've had reservations.

A sign on the door with this information would have been nice. The chicken Parmesan itself was pretty good, but the spaghetti served with it was meh. The best thing about this restaurant is that they were able to accommodate our rather large group, and the seating is such that we had a lot of privacy. I would likely hesitate to return, though.

Upon entering the it's quiet, which I cherish after a day in the office. It's clean, neat and organized, ready for the night's dinner guests. There a sense of pride. I'm getting the artichoke dip with Focaccia, small house salad, and baked ziti with andouille sausage. I ordered bottled water... didn't pay attention to the size. I got the big bottle. All good. Ate my bread too fast. I'm hungry and it was warm and soft with a nice chewy crust... Italian herbs on a plate, balsamic and evoo...good to go. The music is a an eclectic blend of the Temptations, easy listening and big band. Very relaxing. The food is fresh and good. They only used evoo for salad dressing... I wish it had a citrus vinaigrette to brighten the flavor. Otherwise very fresh. The baked artichoke dip is hot and fresh too. The baked ziti is hot, cheesy, meaty and just knowing the resultant and a healthy focus on non gmo ingredients and caters to vegan and vegetarian patrons is super appealing. The young lady helping me, Lauren, was attentive, very helpful and kind.

We chose it because it was close to the hotel how lucky are we. We went with a group of five. We ordered three entrees and a side of wings. The wings were our starter and they were fantastic black and wings are great highly recommend. My wife and I split the fried chicken with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy and the cornbread it was absolutely fantastic cannot speak highly enough. My mom and dad split the shrimp and grits which they also said was great I did try the grits they were lovely, gooey, cheesy awesomeness. My sister had the kale salad as she needs gluten-free options it was easily the largest most fantastic looking kale salad I've ever seen, and she said it was great. The last thing I would probably comment on is the sauces with a name like sauce boss it better have good sauce and it did. Each and every sauce was unique from others I've had but didn't disappoint all where extremely tasty I especially like the spicy one that came with the fried chicken. At this restaurant they don't have salt and pepper on the table and for good reason everything was spiced and seasoned very well. As for service, our server was very attentive, very kind, made great suggestions and all that being that we came in within a half an hour, 45 minutes of closing, you can't beat that!!! If you want boring food don't eat here. If you want the same plain Jane thing you find at every other chain, don't eat here! On the other hand, if you want amazingly tasty food, service and sauces and a good story to tell eat here!!!

Draper, Utah…read more Southern food? Fried catfish? All in the middle of Utah? I had to try it. This is a sit down and order restaurant. Very casual inside, white walls with metal chairs and concrete floor. Very simple. Very small space. About 14 tables. I have food, allergies, and the waitress answered all of my questions. But then she sent the chef/owner, Julius, over to talk with me. Pleasant man from Chicago. But his recipes are all from his family who lived in the South. I ordered the fried catfish which is accompanied with two sides. I chose the candied yams and the mac & cheese. My husband ordered the fried chicken with mashed potatoes, potatoes, and gravy and the macaroni and cheese. Both plates are served with a slice of cornbread with a large honey butter smothered on top. The food came out very hot. The breading on the catfish is very thick and a lot of spices. I was pleasantly surprised when I cut my catfish and discovered it was deboned and tender. The mac & cheese was creamy and the candied yams were super sweet. Just the way I prefer them. They did seem a bit runny, but the flavor was good. The fried chicken was unbelievably moist. The breading was thick and crunchy. The mashed potatoes were of course, homemade with spices, and the brown gravy is chicken based. The cornbread was delicious. Comes with a slab of honey butter. I only wish it was served warm. It would've made the experience perfect. The food portions are large. The food has wonderful flavor with the perfect spice and southern heat. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I would give it 4.8 stars. The only two things that brought it down from a perfect score were the cornbread being cold, and the restaurant was not a cozy feel. Please come check this restaurant out and meet Julius.
