We had an average time. We arrived as one of the first reservations so I want to cut a little slack here. When we got to our table we noticed that other tables had different settings and an expandable hand towel. We were a bit bummed to not have that same treatment. When ordering we were presented with some specials but unfortunately not all of the specials for that night as the table next to us were told more things that we actually would have ordered had we known. Cutting slack here for being one of the first tables. After food came, I was bummed that the steak and shrimp were just that while my husband has potatoes and green beans. The dish needed more - but needed less garlic in my opinion. The blackberry mocktail mojito was very delicious. I enjoyed my meal but I don't think we will be back. The price was steep for being just a nice cut of meat. Honestly I think we can have the same night and dinner at home for less of the cost.

We arrived at 5 PM on Christmas Eve. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with tasteful Christmas music in the background. The Pines is a converted old mansion. It has a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. The food was all delicious and the portions were just right. You could easily split a salad or dessert. We were most impressed by the friendly wait staff. They were so accommodating and friendly. We will be going back.

The Pines was a delicious restaurant. I ate their gnocchi and it was amazing. It truly melts in your mouth. They make the dough fresh from scratch. This is the best gnocchi I've ever had. The baked Brie was a delicious appetizer that I really enjoyed. It had a nice smoky flavor. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very romantic and high-end. Our server was very attentive. The only downside to this restaurant is they only have two restrooms and I'm not a fan of the gravel parking lot.

Great food. Our server (Mike) was very knowledgeable about all menu items.... However. In out dining area the main lighting was pulled from the cielingAND NOT GROUNDED!!!! If not for the unsafe light it would be a 4.5.

Everything about this restaurant was superb! Service was excellent! Very fun atmosphere of an old home made into a restaurant.

The Ridge Cafe had a face lift! It's now called, Royal On Ridge, and it's serving deliciousness in…read morethe SunCrest neighborhood of Draper. Not only did the restaurant get a makeover, but so did the menu. The food was okay! I would argue it's about the same quality as what the old kitchen was serving but the menu is completely different. My breakfast sandwich was comically large. The pancakes -- heavy emphasis on "cakes" -- were so sweet. The hollandaise on the Benedict and the potatoes were seasoned well. (They "ran out" of ketchup so that was a bummer.) Everything was good but not necessarily something to write home about. The environment is the star of the show! Well decorated, great seating, and beautiful views. I hadn't been to the Ridge Cafe since before Covid, so it was fun coming back to see and taste the changes of ROR. For the views alone, give Royal On Ridge a try.

We went here for a book club brunch and were well taken care of by our server. We had a reservation and they had our table all ready and seated us immediately. The food wasn't my favorite. Which is why the three stars. The mini donuts tasted mostly like grease -- between a table of we didn't even finish them. The breakfast croissant sandwich was huge, but the bacon wasn't at all cooked and all four of us that ordered it sent our bacon back to the kitchen to be cooked more. The potatoes looked amazing, but I didn't think they were that great. Everyone said their food was fine, but no raving reviews. The best thing ordered by our table was the Goat Cheese appetizer. This was yummy! Highly recommend. Overall, won't be making the drive for this place again.
