To start, service was amazing, staff was very attentive and friendly and willing to accommodate. The ambiance and view, whether indoors or outdoors, was beautiful, pleasant, and very relaxing. I felt very comfortable. To end, the food was incredible, even not for a full meal, it's 100% worth it just for an alcoholic/non-alcoholic drink, side, or dessert. The charcuterie board, salads, and desserts are all 10 out of 10 with every visit.

I actually came here for a wedding. The grounds, the venue, everything is absolutely beautiful. I can definitely see why the bride and groom chose this spot for their wedding and reception and after party. The swans the peacocks, they were also beautiful to admire and observe outside. I was here on New Year's Eve in the dead of winter and no matter how cold it seemed to get outside, it didn't matter. I was just in awe of those birds and watching them. It made me forget about how cold I was. We had the most amazing food service people helping us all throughout the night. I don't know if they are connected to the restaurant here or not, but if they are, they do an amazing job. And even if they are not a part of the restaurant, I still must commend them on maintaining such professionalism no matter how goofy this group got. They were so friendly and so polite. It was nice to be able to chitchat with them a little bit when possible. They really did bring out some of the most delicious food. The women's restroom was very interesting. It had some of the Most unique looking wallpaper. The restrooms were very nicely maintained. Paper towels, and toilet paper and all the things were just being replenished constantly, throughout the night. I love that there are very comfortable seats just outside of the men's and women's restroom. It's kind of a nice little tucked away. Small quiet space. I didn't have a chance to walk more of the grounds, but from what I could see, everything was so beautiful. All of the walkways were lined with snow and lights were on because we were there for the wedding but also just because of aesthetics. It was so beautiful to see those twinkling lights against the snow. I personally have never experienced anything like it until this past December, 2025 on New Year's Eve.

We went here for our 5 year anniversary and were both very excited. Unfortunately, our table wasn't ready until more than 30 minutes after our reservation time. That wasn't the greatest start to our experience. But while we waited, we walked around outside. It is so beautiful there--magical even. The inside is also very cool. I loved the antique touches in the bathrooms. The details are all attended to. Our server was really great. She comped us for a dessert because she forgot to put in the order for our entrees, so we were waiting a very long time between courses. This also added some stress as we were paying a teen to babysit our son while we were out. We hadn't planned for our reservation to be late, AND for our dinner to be so delayed. Two standout items on the menu for us were the lobster bisque and the bacon appetizer, which I forgot to take a picture of. Both of these were SO delicious. The bread also was amazing. For the entrees, my gnocchi was a little bit dry, and my husband's steak wasn't cooked the way he wanted (it was overdone). We got the sticky toffee pudding, and it was good. My husband liked it more than I did. Overall, with the delays and the entrees not really being great, I don't know if we will be back for how much this place costs. But it was definitely an experience.

This place is stunning! From driving into the entrance, to seeing the entire venue. It is an amazing experience! We ordered the charcuterie board and potato croquettes, both great. For drinks, strawberry margarita and aperol spritz! We were given a complimentary appetizer and focaccia bread. Ashley was amazing! Great service and recommendations!!! Highly suggest requesting for her and walking around the property after! I will definitely be back and requesting for ashley!

I made it back to La Caille with some friends for Saturday jazz evening with drinks at Les Secrets bar and the appetizer menu. It was wonderful. Beautiful setting and great service. We are lucky to have such a beautiful restaurant in the South Valley. I think it's the nicest restaurant in the county. The singer and the accompaniment were enjoyable to listen to. The guests were well dressed and enjoyable to be around. My friends were impressed and it was their first time there. Bryan was very attentive as a server. Troy worked well as a bartender and Laura, the hostess, was very helpful. I would recommend this venue to everyone. I recommend it to all my friends that come into Utah. It was such a pleasure. I have long been a fan. Valet parking was very good and quick. Thank you, La Caille.

La Caille is a spectacular wedding venue with a world-class team. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and the peacocks were really incredible to see. Stephanie was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process, and the entire staff was so accommodating and attentive on our wedding day. If you want a stress-free and beautiful wedding experience, this is the place to be!

The vibes at La Caille are stunning. The drive up to the restaurant resembles a magical holiday experience with all of the light displays. I went with a group for dinner. We had a lovely server who was attentive to the different dietary restrictions at the table. She always made sure that our needs were met which was greatly appreciated. I ended up ordering the Braided Salmon which has a beautiful presentation, however there was something lacking about the flavor. It was good, just not memorable. This would definitely be a great place to celebrate a special occasion while visiting Salt Lake City.

I've lived in Utah for 26 years and had yet to try La Caille until a house guest decided to treat us. First impression: Although brightly lit at the main entrance, the road past this, leading up to the restaurant was under construction. At 6:45pm on a winter night, this seemed treacherous in that ponds and a narrow drive and no additional lighting made for a bit of disequalibrium. A very tasty parmesean bread was delivered to the table with homemade butter. The appetizers ordered were muscles and a tasty potato inards rolled up into balls. Menu items for vegans were nil. For vegetarians, a gnocci was the only choice. Although tasty, this was of appetizer size. The steaks ordered were enjoyed by the meat eaters in the group. The dessert ordered was a bread pudding. Although good, it was not at the level of excellence required for a fine dining establishment. Service by a young local guy was great, and he encouraged us to return in the summer to enjoy the grounds. Perhaps.

Arrived enchanted from the very first crossing into the community. Enjoyed the facilities for a wedding which surpassed my expectations. I'm so glad the lower French Chateau was preserved and turned into part of the venue. Make sure to walk the grounds.

The dinner here is a must. I would say the tasting is something that could be a skip. The plate in my picture is the gluten free option for the tasting and was an atrocious $16. NOTE: you cannot do a tasting without the food. Also I want to add I may be considered a snob for this but I'm a trained level one sommelier. Hearing the person running the tasting mispronounce the varietals made me feel like It was a waste having a person run the event. The dinner made this experience worth while. Our server was the kindest and we were celebrating an engagement and she was constantly checking in and always asked us what our preferences was. We had one special One soup Two steaks and the Chilean seabass. It was a worthwhile experience. We also had the espresso martinis... those were TOP NOTCH. The peacocks are a fabulous touch. We went to the bar after dinner and it was such a calm cool vibe. I really loved the space and our bartender!!

We went to the tour and tasting event and after hearing about La Caille for 12 years and having high expectations we were NOT disappointed. I would strongly recommend this experience- the grounds are stunning. You feel transported out of Utah for an evening and the way they have it set up you go at your own pace and just enjoy the bites, drink, views and company. At the end of the event they had a saxaphone and additional drinks available for purchase at the patio/pool. I thought the price was high for the small plates but I would quite gladly pay it again. My husband was still hungry at the end of the meal and though they made a vegetarian main dish for me the sides were not vegetarian. The other food was very good though. I prefer an event like this to a fancy sit down dinner- can't speak for their full menu/meals or the actual restaurant experience.

Sunday brunch at @lacailleutah is truly a magical experience from the drive to the restaurant, the drive way, the reception area, throughout the restaurant and of course the winery and pond with all the wildlife! We opted to sit outside which was a great decision due to all the wildlife, beautiful views and amazing weather. We explored the grounds before and after brunch and had an amazing time. The croissant with a sweet glaze was delicious. My husband enjoyed his salmon Benedict and my mushroom, goat cheese omelette hit the spot. Service was friendly and attentive. However, what made the experience memorable were the grounds and the beautiful wildlife. Highly recommended! #saltyviceseats #saltyvices #lacaille

Is this restaurant gluten free safe for someone with celiac disease?

Yes, La Caille does offer some gluten-free options on their menu, and they can accommodate food allergies, but please ask when you go. I don’t work for them. Or you can call.

Are kids allowed to dine at the restaurant?

Yes, kids are allowed to dine at La Caille.

    What is the dress code?

Look at the price points obviously I don't want to be in a restaurant like this with people wearing pj bottoms. Dress up for hells sake it won't kill you.

Every dish that came to our table looked like it belonged in a magazine, but the best part was that the food tasted just as incredible as it looked. We started with the Eggs Benedict, which featured perfectly poached eggs, flavorful rosemary ham, rich hollandaise, and crispy potatoes. The Funky Monkey French Toast was over-the-top in the best possible way, loaded with Nutella, bananas, berries, roasted peanuts, and real maple syrup. The double cheeseburger was juicy, packed with flavor, and paired perfectly with crispy fries. We also loved the Beet & Strawberry Panzanella, which balanced sweet strawberries, earthy beets, creamy whipped goat cheese, crunchy pecans, and fresh mint for a refreshing combination. The biggest surprise of the meal was the beignets. Warm, fluffy, and generously dusted with powdered sugar, they were easily one of the best we've ever had. They practically melted in our mouths and were worth the visit all on their own. "Don't worry honey, it's okay to look, and also throw money at the half-naked women! I promise you won't get in trouble!" Uh-huh. ;) Alright, I digress. Awkwardness aside, Prohibition is a really great place to enjoy a classy dinner, where the meat is served on a place AND on stage, and the cheesecake comes with the price of admission! Speaking of admission, as my wife and I were guests, being shepherded along by our friend, I cannot recall exactly what the "cover charge" was (not much, if I remember correctly...less than $20 for two?), and if reservations are *required*, I cannot say for certain, but I would say they are *recommended* at the very least, because our showtime was packed. Anyway, once paid, you are escorted through a secret bookcase door (SLC residents sure do love their speakeasies, don't they?), and into the dining hall and saloon, where you're soon to have your socks knocked off...well, someone's clothes are coming off, anyway! We were given a table that I dismissively thought was tucked away pretty far in the back and out of the way, but it ended up being one of the best seats in the house, as the table where the performers gathered, prepped, and returned to was just adjacent to us, so we were about as up close and personal as you can get, without getting yourselves arrested. Each of the dancers brought their own style, flair, and wardrobe to their performances, which were spirited and energetic, and a touch racy, without devolving into outright debauchery. It may be an (18+? 21+?) venue, but alcohol restrictions aside, I wouldn't hesitate to take older, more mature teens to a show with similar content. We ordered a smattering of smaller dishes, as we weren't particularly hungry, but the Mishima Wagyu tacos were fantastic (as you would expect), as was the Fedora Fin (Za'atar-crusted ahi tuna), and all of our cocktails. As the show is timed event with multiple performances per night, both food and bev are fired out of the kitchen/bar faster than the bullets from a Tommy Gun, but with far better accuracy. The whole operation here was honestly very impressive, from start to finish. Coming from a progressive city like Portland, it's always struck me a little odd that places that, by reputation, strike you as more conservative end up having some of the best, most wild entertainment venues, that you only wish you had back home. Prohibition is one of these places that I would rather see in my downtown, instead of the litany of seedy strip joints pushing for maximum titilation, but with only a fraction of the class and sophistication. Prohibition is good, clean fun, masquerading as something illicit, which is the heart of what makes it work so well.
