Finding the spot was easy since we knew it was located inside Dog Haus and the parking lot was not that packed but had enough cars to know something was Poppin and it was time to see how BAD ASS their burritos really was. I went in and my lady stayed in the car. We wanted to try one, so we decided to share one burrito. The place had a few people waiting for their food, but I was next in line, so the wait wasn't very long. The menu is on the wall to the right of the counter and was very easy to pick out what I wanted. I ordered the Haus Burrito. The Haus Burrito is made with 3 sunny side up eggs, smoked bacon, white American cheese, crispy tater tots, caramelized onions, spicy mayo. Minus the Caramelized onions for me, but I went back to the car and told my lady to make some burritos with avocado and I was going to get her one cause ya boy was hungry and she likes avocado. This is when everything went downhill!!!! This was our first time here and when didn't know that the burritos were made with sunshine eggs. I went back to the counter to not only order ANOTHER with sunshine eggs cause my lady wanted that, but asked politely if I could get one made with scrambled eggs instead of sunshine eggs and order a different one with avocado and I was told NO!!!!! The manager Sue said THE BURRITO HAS ALREADY BEEN MADE AND IT WAS TOO LATE TO MAKE ANOTHER ONE. Not only did they lose business with me buying another one, but the manager sue then said I should have read the menu, but here is your burrito. WOW! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Once we got home, my gf bragged about saying that it was very delicious. She liked it so much, she decided to order one with scrambled eggs and to go and have me try it. Her experience started off good just like mine. She said the order taker asked if scrambled eggs were okay for the burrito, (we weren't given the option the day before) but that was very appreciated. Again, this is where customer service went downhill. She asked for sauce, and the manager sue said that she had put multiple sauces and only put ONE after saying she put multiple in the bag. You give her a BURRITO and THERE IS ONLY ONE IN THE BAG. My lady is Latina, and one packet won't cut it. Second if you say there is sauce in the bag and INSIST you put it in the bag, please make sure it's in the bag because there was none in the bag. Seriously much better than I anticipated. Finding the place is tricky since it's not its own restaurant, it's inside Doghaus and even when you get inside, it isn't obvious. The menu is by the cashier on the side wall. You can't see it until you're way up to the counter. Maybe it's a new concept and why it is so hidden. Order what sounds good to you. Mine had tots, eggs, Swiss cheese, sausage, and maybe a couple more things. It was the best breakfast burrito I've had in my mouth in a long time if not ever. I try not to hype food too much since taste is relative to each persons preference, but I can't believe how amazing it was. The rest of our crew loved their burritos as well, each getting the one that sounded best to them (or recommended by the cashier as favorites). Typing this out is making me want another one. What I liked best was that every bite included a bit of all the ingredients. My first outing was the Haus Burrito, 3 eggs, bacon, cheese, tater tots, and caramelized onions. Today's was the Borracho Burrito, 3 eggs, bacon, chili, tater tots, and cheese. Both burritos delivered on flavor, heat, and portion size. These folks don't skimp on quantity or quality. The tots and bacon are both perfectly done with just the right amount of crispyness. The eggs aren't hammered to death (which is no easy feat for many restaurants), with the mayo and hot sauce bringing it all together. This is a definite go to for me from now on when I need it. Bonus is that it's close to where I work so never an issue of cold food when it's delivered. I'll definitely be trying their other offerings in the future (sans the "beyond" offerings because no thanks ). I highly recommend them for your next breakfast outing. read more
